Marked J. W. McLean on one side. Very nice condition. With barely any rust blemish and minor iron pitting. There are a couple age splits to the wooden handle. But nothing serious. HUGE Antique Primitive Hand Forged Iron Double Hay Meat Farm Hook Hanger
This is an excellent. Heavy duty antique hand forged iron double hook with loop on top for hanging. I don't know what it was used for but it was found in a barn. It is sturdy and solid, noting is cracked, or broken, and it is HEAVY. The metal has a light coating of surface rust and possible very shallow pitting, but the metal is very thick and the rust and pitting have only affected the hook cosmetically. It measures 29" L x 11 1/2" W and the hook ends are 12" long. It will be packed securely and insured during shipping.
