Here is an amazing lot of 4 beautifully ornate cast iron shelf brackets that are each two pieces- they are reversible so you can fit them into the wall brackets both ways. I sell a lot of this kind of stuff and this lot of stuff is the best I have ever had. They and an 1886 patent date. The"smaller" still large) brackets are 16" x 8" and the larger brackets are 21" x 9" and the vertical pieces that screw to the wall are 24" long. they have multiple notches so you can adjust the shelf up and down- really great. It gets even better if you like provenance- these were screwed to a wall of a hardware store in the 1890s and just unscrewed from the same building this week. They are japanned black and then someone has painted gold over them. This look is actually pretty cool- mostly gold with black flecks showing ... morethrough. The look great as is or you could get them back to black with a little elbow grease. Or just repaint them the color you like. They are marked"A. W. Koch. This is a pair of bronze or brass brackets from the industrial age. Unsure about their original purpose. But these would be great repurposed into whatever you can imagine. I have used them for really nice towel bars. They measure 2-1/4" wide by 6-1/4" high and extend 3-3/4" They will fit a 1" pipe. No mounting hardware included. Antique Oliver Woodworking Bracket - Wood Steampunk Industrial Wall Sconce
I found this great bracket at a warehouse full of antique industrial items and thought that it would be beautiful repurposed as a wall sconce or bracket to shelve a really cool piece of rusted history. Something would need to be added to the back to hang it if that is what you intend to use it for. The sconce is made of wood and measures 6.5 x 11" and would extend 6" from the wall. The bracket has a metal placard nailed to the front that reads Oliver. I am pretty certain this was used to make furniture or some other woodworking job.

The bottom circular end has a lock mechanism that is still functional. The end circular part contains original markings of" Frimeda" 2.5T" and"A-Z" with an arrow between. While I was told that these may have been used to hang a light fixture I have no way to truly establish that. What these will work for ideally are as garment/bag(coats. Robes, etc) hooks. Their design is second to none. It is some of the nicest hardware that I have ever seen. These would be ideal for a steampunk application(the first thing that came to my mind when I saw them was that they look like they came right off of captain Nemo's ship The Nautilus from the book"20,000 Leagues Under The Sea" The construction of the hardware is also rock solid. They appear to be cast brass. There are no makers marks or branding unfortunately. Each piece measures 7& 3/4" deep(from ... morewhere the mounting plate meets the wall out to the tip. Where you would have you item) The mounting plate itself measures 2& 3/4" wide by 4& 1/8" high and the end/tip of the hardware(where you would hand your item) measures about 2" wide by about 2& 1/4" high.
