For your consideration is this pair of shelf brackets measuring 7” x 8 ¼” 7/8” wide and ½” thick. There are 5 countersunk holes in each bracket. These brackets are identical except that the holes on one side don’t line up with the corresponding side on the other bracket. There are many layers of old paint and scratches in the paint. Victorian Gothic wall bracket Machine age mountain house industrial vintage
For your review I am offering a Victorian Gothic wall bracket fabricated of spelter or"pot metal" Excellent condition overall. I can't tell if the skull on the"coat of arms" had horns and they were broken off or it was made this way. Either way it looks fine and there is no damage to speak of. Very solid. Measures 10.25" tall, 7.35" wide, and 5.75" deep. Very clean, no corrosion, nice original finish. This piece is very much in the round in that it has presence from all angles with the finial at the bottom sculpted on all sides.
