Pair of Hook Tie Back French Vintage Ormolu Drapes Curtain Antique Art Nouveau
A pair of antique drapery tie backs. In the vintage French ormolu 19th century style. Dimensions: 5.5" tall. 4" deep Weight: each weighs just over 1/2 pound. Over 1 pound for the pair. These are heavy duty and will hold substantial drapery. The foundry mark on the back is"M C" Noted on the hanger strap. There is an additional mark, J O" behind that strapping(see photos) There is both a hole in the top center and a strap on the back for hanging. These have been in family storage for over 50 years and are in fantastic condition with a lovely patina. The pictures are fairly accurate to their actual condition. There is a light coating of 100 year old grime in the recessed areas.
