Antique Metal Strap Hinge Architecture Hardware Brass?
Up for auction is an antique metal strap hinge recently found at auction in the Lancaster County PA area. It is offered in as found used condition. There is a bend at one end. Best seen in photo#5. This hinge is made of metal and do not attract a magnet. Probably brass, but quite patented. As a result, it is difficult to determine the metal, but it shows very nice, dark original patina. It measures approximately 7 1/2" ix 2 7/8" and can use up to eight 1/4" screws, not included. Similar hinges are found on ice boxes or where a heavy door must be supported A nice piece if needed. Vintage Recent Lot Architecture Salvage Cabinet Hardware Knobs Pulls Backplate
This is a group of vintage and more recent cabinet knobs and backplates that I have accumulated over the years. The backplates are aluminum and date to the 1940s. The white floral knobs are dated 1960 on the back. The brass pulls and their backplates have wear to the metal and probably are reproduction pieces. ANTIQUE DOOR STOVE HARDWARE HINGES CAST IRON ARCHITECTURE
These are some very unique and decorative cast iron antique door hardware. I believe they are for doors but I'm not entirely sure. One of the pieces has a marking on the back which is 1659I. There are what look to be"hooks" on the back of three of them. They do have rust on them but are still very nice pieces and the rust gives them character.
