Architectural Columns salvaged from 1895 Historic Geneva Home. This pair of columns was removed while renovating the house. They are interior round. Tapered wood columns that are 64.5” tall and 5 ¼” top) 8” bottom) in diameter. The square at the top end is 7.5” square. The top end still needs to be stripped and is not attached to the main column because it is where they were cut to be removed. They originally sat on two wood boxes but the boxes were unsalvageable. architectural salvaged 16 1/2 feet high vintage 1940 coumns - fluted
We harvested six fluted columns from a huge two story house in San Antonio. Price for all six is $3500.00. They are 16.5 feet tall and 11 inches wide and square. Two of them are structural. With the inside of columns have 2X8's inside for support. The top and bottom bases are pretty much there, but someone will have to redo them to get them back to original shape, due to some wood rot, but shouldn't be a big deal. I'm pretty sure a shop could have them back to orignal shape for around 1000.00,or less. There is one column that has a long seam coming apart and I am going to re-glue it and clamp it. These cost around $10,000.00 to get made at any structural building place. These are made from the nice old pine wood. Please call me if you have any questions. I can deliver for a fee. ANTIQUE CHURCH SALVAGED ARCHITECTURAL WINDOW GOTHIC ARCH IRON 38" TORTOISE SHELL
We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique(old, not reproduction) window frame with wrought iron insert. This gorgeous architectural piece was salvaged from an old church is Southwest Missouri. It is quite unique with a painted tortoise shell or marbled finish. The colors are whte, cream, tan, black and a burnt orange. The wrought iron insert is also ornate with intricate scroll work and a center, round medallion. The wrought iron is attached to the back of the frame with screws. The window is in good condition. It does have chipped paint and the iron has an aged and rusted patina. The wood is old but still intact. The Gothic arch is very nice with a severe and pointed top. Antique Matching Set of 4 Architectural Salvaged Corbels with Original Paint
Here is a matching set of four salvalged antique scroll type design corbels with the remnants of the original paint. The corbels measure 24" high. 5" wide, and 19" deep(however the ones with the attached trim measure closer to 22" deep) I have tried to show as much as I can with the 12 pictures available, but have taken additional photos(5 of each corbel showing each side, the top, back, and bottom) There are some pieces missing here and there on the corbels, I guess to be expected when they are this old. I will likely ship two to a box(20 X 20 X 25) and each corbel weighs about 17 lbs. So, please double the shipping charges shown- I will send a final invoice for total payment due. This is a sale I wish I didn’t have to do however I can no longer store them and they need to go. The condition and wood types vary. Walnut Oak and Mahogany were used. The creative reuse projects for newels are seemingly limitless. Apply a weather-resistant finish. And plant one at the end of your driveway to serve as support for a mailbox or as a signpost on which to nail your house numbers or hang a shingle. A matched set of salvaged newels can be attached to either side of an old door to make a one-of-a-kind headboard. You could also use a pair to prop up a countertop that extends beyond base cabinetry on a kitchen island or peninsula to create a bar-seating and food-service ... morearea. A single newel that's been sliced down the center can function as a pair of pilasters to flank either side of a passageway or as decorative stanchions secured to the wall to break up a long run of wainscoting. A few of the oldest and heavyset ornate newels, are almost a foot thick at the base and around 4 1/2 feet tall! Some were turned on a mechanical lathe.
