It's very heavy and beautifully carved with tusks up the legs and around the top, and the legs resemble trunks. It isn't flawless and has wear from age and use including a chip at the top of one of the legs as shown in pictures 8, 9, and 11. There are some red stains, perhaps can be removed but we didn't try in order not to compromise the finish on the wood; I noticed them when looking close. The most noticeable spot of red can be seen by zooming in on picture 7. Although it's in good condition, you might want to glue and tighten up some of the seams. It is 17-1/2" in height x 13" across the top x 16" across the legs. It weighs a glorious 19 lbs. For sale I have a beautiful vintage carved wood mirror 5 drawer dresser combo with a marble top. The detail in the craftsmanship is very detailed. The marble top has several cracks but overall the piece is still in fairly good condition. A very nice antique piece of furniture. It measures about 78 inches tall counting the mirror and is about 45 1/2 x 21 inches wide. It is too big and heavy for me to ship anywhere so is being offered for local pickup only in the 80110 zip code. The diameter measures 29-1/2" but I believe they call this a 30" table top. It was probably used on a plant stand or some type of table. This item is an antique. Victorian, marble top coffee table with a marble top(Italy) It may be mahogany. Dimensions: Height, 16.5 inches; Width, 34.5 inches; Depth( 22.5 inches. There is carving on both sides. The table is solid and in good condition. With some signs of wear which I think could be corrected. The marble is in good condition, no chips or cracks but some little brown specs(see photo) that could maybe be lightened with bleach and a toothpick. Just guessing, here. There is one little scratched area about an inch long through one of the dark gray areas, but, I also think this could be corrected. This Mission rte& Crafts era table is 12" across and 17" high. It is in classic Mission style and it from the period- 1910-1920. It came from an estate in Warwick NY that was mainly furnished with Mission pieces both signed and unsigned. This is unsigned. It may have been refinished or re-stained at some point in its history as the stain looks dark to me and I can see it on the underside. Which I have shown. Wood and Marble Side Table Occasional Accent Antique Vintage Regency French
I am selling this solid wood and marble side table in the French Regency style. It is antique but I do not know how old it is and it's in very good condition with light scuffing on the feet and some crazing in the wood(fine cracks. It is 25" high and the marble is 26" diameter. The photos make it look gold but it is more brown. The marble has one very faint water ring from a glass and a couple of light scratches. All this is only visible in very close inspection and does not normally show but I am trying to disclose everything I can. When displayed. You will not notice these things and the piece will look great as it has in my home for years. Vintage Italian Marble Topped Solid Wood End Table Retro Hidden Compartment
Up for sale is a gorgeous vintage end table I purchased from an antiques dealer. The table has a solid wooden ornamental base and a solid marble top. The top is removable to reveal a small hidden compartment underneath. Hide some money or important documents. Etc etc etc. There is some slight wear and tear on both the base and the marble. The table is approximately 14" Diameter and 18 1/4" Tall. The marble is stamped"Italy" and has a couple of small inconsequential chips, but no other cracks, and it is very solid, the flaws it does have do not detract from it's beauty as they are mostly on the underside of the piece and not a very noticeable. The wooden base does have some scuffs and dings, but is also very solid and is not missing any pieces or broken. All in all the condition is good and solid, with slight cosmetic ... moreflaws. This is a wonderful old antique classical alabaster hand carved probably Italian pedestal stand from wonderful estate. It is 27" tall and the top is 12 3/8" across. It has damage that I never noticed when I bought it. I was impressed by its beauty. The damage could easily be restored or just turn the table to where you do not see it. There is a 1 1/4" wide by 1" tall base chip. See photo. There is a 2 7/8" wide by 3/4" chip wide on underside of the top column that is hard to spot. See photo. The wood does have some splitting due to age and there is some chipping and loss of white paint at the lower sections. The marble has some minor chips along the edges. We are pleased to offer this fabulous vintage table. The table is in the French. Louis XV or Rococo style. It features a demilune design and is made of cast bronze/brass. The metal has a very ornate pattern of flowers, shells and vines. The functional stretcher is also decorative. The bronze is gilded on the front sides with a blackened coating on the backs of the legs. The table top is BEAUTIFUL. It is a solid(thick) piece of Sarrancolin marble with distinctive patterns in multiple colors. The overall color is a rose tone and their are several areas of quartz in the stone as well. The marble features an ogee edge detail. The table is in very good condition. It is heavy and sturdy. There is some patina to the bronze, particularly at the stretcher section. We are pleased to offer this EXQUISITE table. The table is semi-round(demilune) and features detailed figural legs and ornate. Scrolled fretwork. The figures are female and are accented with acanthus leaf garlands. They are a hollowed wood and may be a carved, applique(hard to discern) The table has 3 cabriole legs with acanthus detail at the feet. The wood is finished in a gold wash(original) with some soft brush strokes purposefully visible. The table features a white, Carerra marble(3/4" thick) top with gray veins. The marble is cut to flow with the curvature of the table and is also original to the piece. The table does not have a manufacturer's mark, but there is"T124" hand written on the back. Discovered deep in the attic. An elegant marble-topped table with ornate design and wooden wheels. Deep walnut color. We are not certain of its age, but late 1800's or early 1900's is our best guess. Vintage Victorian Style Mahogany Marble Top Side Parlor Table Plant Fern Stand C
This Victorian style marble top table is a reproduction. And was made in the 1940's- 1950's. We currently have three of these stands listed here on e-Bay and I believe that this is the better of the three. This quality piece of furniture has a good look about it. The marble top is Carrara marble from Italy and has a nicely beveled edge around it. It rests upon the mahogany base without being attached to it with hardware. This allows you to lift the marble off of the base, exposing the hollow cavity on the top and base, which you can use for storage of small items. Inside this cavity, the stand is marked"Victorian" with an impressed stamp. The base is beautifully styled and made of mahogany. It has four shapely legs, which have beveled edges and button plugs covering the mounting hardware. The turned central post is vase-like, ... moreand the wooden top has two routered channels encircling the piece, to further enhance its look. The piece measures 18 3/4" tall by 14" wide. The piece is roughly 60 years old and is not"show room perfect" due to normal use and wear over time. It has some bumps and bruises on the mahogany base. Which we have attempted to capture in the last of the close-up photos, as well as some light scratches, staining, and rough spots on the marble top, which we have also attempted to photograph. These small blemishes and minor abrasions do not detract from the piece in any way, rather giving it additional character, if even seen or noticed at all. What we have here is a Mid 1900's Marble& Cast Iron Coffee Table. Even though this piece has been in my family for generations I am unable to give an exact date of manufacture. For it's age this piece is in wonderful condition. Marble top has subtle. Beautiful marks with a lovely designed edge. The cast iron base a unique curling design.
