Vintage white with red trim enamel porcelain top kitchen table with chrome hairpin legs and utensil drawer. 1940's kitchen table that is very sturdy& heavy. Looks like someone painted the non-enamel/chrome part at one time. Legs have light surface rust. I looked carefully at the table top and all four corners have places that are chipped. The tabletop has chipped places on the left and right corners of the white part of the tabletop in the front. Looks like the left front of the wooden part of the table had some moisture damage at one time. There is a an approximately 3" crack in the surface wood on the left front of the table bottom. Welcome to Ruddy's Vintage Goodies Up for sale is an ANTIQUE VINTAGE ART DECO BAKED PORCELAIN ENAMEL CUSTOM COUNTRY KITCHEN SET. The set includes a vintage baked porcelain enamel top table that has two slide out leaves that slide under the table. Hair pin legs and the four chairs. A custom made kitchen hang light fixture which is made of an antique single tree yoke and vintage baked porcelain enamel kitchen dishes, and the set also includes a set of vintage baked porcelain enamel dishes which are four plates, four cups, a coffee pot with the lid, a square oven pan and a round oven pan with the lid and a bowl which is not seen in the pictures and also the salt and pepper shakers that you see in the pictures. The table measures 40" in length and 25" in width with out the leaves or 45" with the leaves the leaves are 10" ... morewide each, and it is 30 3/4" in height. the table has a couple of blemishes around the edges of it but nothing really damaging and the legs have minor ware on them but they cleaned pretty nice and the paint on the wood part of the table has a little ware but not much, but everything on the table is original and over all it is in good condition. As for the chairs i have had the off white backing on the chairs reupholstered because the original backing was torn but i did stick to the same color and i also added the off white tips to the legs on the chairs and some of the buttons were replaced on the back of the chairs when they were reupholstered, but over all the chairs cleaned up real nice and are in good condition as well. The light fixture measures 28 1/4" in length and hangs about 26" from the ceiling and the shades measure 10" in diameter and are in good condition they have no damage and the fixture has been made and the concept is put together but it does need to be wired and mounted the way one would like it personally so it has been made but needs to be worked on by the buyer. Vintage Enamel Top Table - Black Edging on Wooden Base w/Cutlery Drawer- RETRO!!
Vintage Enamel Top Kitchen Table This auction is for a Vintage White Porcelain Top Table with a 4 section cutlery drawer and 4 wood legs. The Table is 39" x 44" with both leaves out) or 24" with 2 10" tucked in leaves. The wooden base measures 29 1/4" from top of wooden base to floor and the the wood box that the leaves set on is 36" x 23" The height of the table with the leaves on is 31" with the leaves spread out. But stacked under the top it is 31 1/2" There are some minor issues with this table. First, there are 2 small chips on one leaf and a dime sized chip in the top on one corner. I have shown these chips in the photos. Another problem with the wooden base is the fact that one leg only measures 27 1/4" a full 2 inches shorter. But looking at the wood base, it looks very straight forward ... moreand not to hard to either replace the one leg or all 4. There are many layers of pain on the wood base. But this little table has really made the rounds and has lots of family history. My mom and dad got this table as a hand me down(hand me down is pre-vintage) as a newly married couple and years later I remember my Grandparents ended up with it on their back porch where as kids we at our lunches. My parents ended up with it out in their shed and using it to use for garden work. Now it's time to come full circle and be used in a new families home as a kitchen table again. I think this would look really sweet with cherry red wood base and some enamel cherries painted on the top to hide those little chips. The table in the photos is the table you will pick up. VINTAGE 1940 Kitchen Dining Table WHITE BLUE ENAMEL TOP Old One Family
Enamel top kitchen dining table at least 70 years old. Vintage item is in vintage condition. I think the sides were white but are now yellow. One corner has been repaired with screws. There are some cracks in some of the boards. Some rust on the aluminum legs; nothing that is deep rust damage. Pretty much surface. The drawer has all of the pieces but has a small nail holding it shut. The leaves seem to stay up in place when pulled out. This table was new in 1940 or right before or after. The enamel top. It is enamel on some type of metal, I believe, is in VERY GOOD CONDITION. The table edge is blue with a white top disected with a diamond pattern of blue lines. I have not seen any chips. There are some black rub marks, but I know that they can be cleaned off because I have cleaned some of them. this piece could easily be restored or the bottom ... morecould be replaced with a wonderful forties enamel top. Cool Benjamin Crysteel vintage enamel-top kitchen table with two fully functional extensions. Size is 25x40 inches folded. 45x40 inches with both leaves extended. The top has a red and white diamond/geometric pinstripe design with solid red edging. The legs look to be chrome or chrome plated underneath black paint, and they have some rust spots. There is a divided cutlery drawer with vintage oilcloth drawer liner in place. The wooden frame of the table is in good condition, no cracks or splits, and it has been repainted at least once in its history. The table is heavy and sturdy. It is dated February of 1940 on its underside, along with the Benjamin Crysteel stamp. It has some minor wear, scratches, and 2 chips(see pics- commensurate with use) but it is in great overall condition for being nearly 75 years old! Vintage Enamel Kitchen Table with 4 Chair's
This is a beautiful Kitchen Table with 4 Matching Chairs. It has a geometric design on the top in a creamy yellow with brown accents and has a leaf on both sides that pull out and up adding 10" each. There was originally yellow paint around one section of the table legs and chair legs. Some of the paint is worn off, could be replaced but I will leave that up to the buyer. The table also has a silverware drawer. I believe this table is from the 30's, it does have some wear to the enamel(see collage photo) and some repairs to the chairs. Vintage art deco kitchen table with Ugo Mochi designed enamel top. I am unsure of exact age. I suspect from similar tables it is 1930's. The table has a drawer that pulls out. And expandable leaves. When the leaves are expanded, the table measures 44" x 40" When the leaves are tucked in, it measures 25" x 40" Table is 30" tall. One of the corners had a chip that was epoxied over as you will be able to see in the photos. The leaves will expand in an out. However there is a support brace missing from one corner. Vintage Antique RED and BROWN Enamel Top Kitchen Table with 4 FREE Chairs
FOR SALE1920’s-1930’s vintage/ antique art deco kitchen enamel porcelain top table with 4 FREE original chairs. Wooden table base has retained the original finish with some shellac flaking in areas. The table base is also decorated with the original red painted pin-striping and it has the original sectioned flatware drawer however one of the wooden drawer glides is worn from wear(see photo) Wooden table legs have wonderful art deco detailing and perfect patina from 80 years of use. The table has two spring loaded butterfly leaves that open independently of each other. Open one side or both depending on your size requirements. The closed enamel top measures 24 ¾” W x 40 ½” L and each leaf can add an additional 10” W on each side. The finish of the enamel top is a faux wood print with bright red edges. There are some very faint scratches ... moreon the top that are more prominent in the photos than they are in person and three small chipped areas(see detailed photos) It is very clear from the details that this base and table top are originally married to each other. In addition the 4 chairs included for FREE in this sale not only match the finish of the wooden base/ legs in color but also in design, this is a very rare find. The chairs are custom made to fit the smaller proportions of this vintage table; modern chairs would be too wide and high to fit between the table legs and under the table top. All chairs have the original finish(some original shellac flaking in areas) and original fasteners. 2 of the 4 chairs need repairs(see photos) one chair is perfect and solid, and the other though solid has a burn mark on the seat from what I think was probably a misplaced hot pot. Vintage, Old, Antique Red Porcelain top (Enamel Top) Kitchen Table
This table I feel is in good condition for the age. Year and vintage of the item. The approx. sizes for this table are: 40 inches wide 25 inches deep. 30-31 inches high. Each leaf 10" wide. I have put many pictures of the top so you can see the ware spots on the table where the Porcelain is missing. This has the rare pull out and up wings(leaves) on the side. There is a leaf on each side. They work but pull out a bit hard and move up a bit hard probably needs some lube and general maintenance long since overdo. The wings drop a bit when in position which probably has to do with general long overdo maintenance. When they were put in storage they went up tight and held in place. This was used in fact for a plant table prior. This has been in storage for many years. This would be an ideal addition to a farm house. Or how about a shop owner ... moreto display items. Vintage Enamel Top Kitchen Table Redo & MacKenzie-Childs Catalog
I took a 1940's enamel top table. Past its prime and gave it coats of chalk paint, paper decoupage and hand painted faux finishes. I am including a MacKenzie-Childs catalog. December 2012, with this table, from my smoke free home. I was inspired by my love of the MacKenzie-Childs look. The table base was a bit beat up so I took the top off. And painted the entire wood base. Then faux finished the legs, and did the decoupage all around. The original drawer was missing. I happened to find one at a yard sale, and made it work. Table top is in great condition, with only 3 tiny chips to the beveled edge at one end. The pull-out side leaves are in great condition. They show some wear, but that is to be expected in a table this age. I didn't feel bad doing this to the table, someone had gotten to it before me, and painted the base a gross ... morebrown. Table is 39" long x 25" wide(not including leaves) x 31" tall. Top and leaves lift off for easy removal. Leaves are attached to table with springs. One spring on each table leaf connects it to the center of the table. Underneath, for a secure fit when pulled out. The top is in excellent condition with only 3 tiny chips at one end of the table. Measures 42" closed and approximately 82" open. The last two pics are the table top pattern. Somewhere along the way the set was painted ~ not by me. In other words if you wanted to refinish there shouldn't be multiple coats of paint. Considering how old it is(1940s) it's in pretty good shape. It's nice but I no longer have the room to keep it.
