ANTIQUE CARVED OAK FRENCH RENAISSANCE REVIVAL PARQUET TOP TABLE 8 CHAIRS LEATHER
This absolutely terrific antique heavy carved quartersawn oak French Renaissance Revival parquet top dining table and eight chairs was purchased by it's current owner about 10 years ago in an antiques shop in Lyon. France and imported to it's current location in Charleston, SC. This high quality solid oak furniture was manufactured somewhere between the 1900 and the early to mid-twentieth century. In addition to the wonderful condition, the beautiful wood grain is highlighted by the highly detailed carvings and the parquet oak and burl top alongside fabulous heavy carved full size dining chairs with leather seats, secured with a complete set of decorative brass tacks. These chairs are particularly rare and hard to find with their full size dimensions and comfortable leather sling seats. Up for auction is a beautiful early 1900's Brown Leather Top table. This table I beautiful and in great condition giving its age. The Leather is in excellent condition. This is known as a presidential table it has brass claw footings to protect the end of the legs. It is solid mahogany. It has the pull out drawer in the front, the table is 100% original. I have seen these go in auction for around $400 some in worst shape than this one. I took it to a local antique shop and they dated it around 1925 to 1940, giving the detail of the table I would guess that's close to accurate. The drawer is dove tailed on the ends. There is no distiquishing markings, there is a number on the bottom of the table but I'm not familiar with with this type of furniture. I am starting this at a low price there Is no reserve. Think there were brass cups with wheels attached that fit on the legs. But do not have them. Note the pretty inlaid on the side of the table. This is an antique Estate drop leaf ribbon mahogany side table that can convert to a sweet tea table by raising the leaves. Brown leather 3 section top with gilt tooling around the edges. Fluted legs rise to elegant lyre shaped frame on each side of the table Looking at the base construction the ribbon mahogany wood can be easily seen as well as the brass hinges. When the leaves are raised the table swivels into place and locks similar to the antique games tables. I believe this is a Sheraton style Mahogany Pembroke table with doors in the front and a leather top for writing. It is an uncommon item. It is open in the back. no back panel) and no signs of ever having one. Because of age and use, it shows some minor scratches and dinks, which only add character to the piece. It is in good used condition and very well made. Front view dimensions: with closed wings 21.5" Outside depth at widest point of table top arch- 15" Legs from floor to main body(where the doors are) 16 3/8" Total height- 28 1/4" Inside dimensions- 16"w x 10"h x 12"deep. Here up for auction is a vintage leather top end table. It might be cherry wood but not sure. It measures at 16 inches tall at the bottom table top and 27 at the top. It measures 20 inches wide and 30 inches deep from the wall. The tops are leather and for the age of it the condition is great. It also has a smooth working drawer that is 16 inches deep. It has very very minor scuffs but that will be expected for the age also. It's sturdy and stout and will be the perfect addition to any antique style decor home. Because of the weight of the table I have to charge what I do. I have to wrap and pack to make the journey to your door and also the postal service does not give breaks on prices.

1930s Elegant Deco-Louis Weiman Mahogany Cocktail Table w/Leather - Super Clean
This Weiman cocktail table circa 1935. Is super elegant and would look amazing next to a Louis couch or a chair and would suit a Hollywood Regency or classic glam interior. It's in a simplified French Louis XVI gueridon style. The leather is in very good shape(I have cleaned it) with no white marks or serious dings- some wear due to age consistent with use but nothing that detracts to the aesthetic of the table. It actually adds to it. Please see photos. The legs are tall and thin. With hand staining decoration(NOT inlay) The table is 22 3/4" across and 26 3/4" tall- making it the perfect small but useful table to fit into a spot near seating or even bedside. With excellent detailing and sculpting(true Duncan-Style) in the feet and the legs. When purchased about 30 years ago, it was believed to be from the 1930's or earlier. This table can be used as a Coffee Table, End Table or Lamp Table. The Mahogany-wood is in excellent condition. The Leather top is also in good condition, with some age marks(some want a little of this) which show its authenticity. About 30" in diameter, 19 1/2" high.
