Offered is a wonderful Spanish Revival Mission tile top table from the early 20th century. Tiles are in great condition with original grouting; no chips. Cracks or damage other than a bit of surface wear. Tiles are black. Orange and cream. The edges of the black sort of bleed a dark green, though not as much as it appears in photos. Was unable to identify the tile company. But it's in the style of Taylor I believe the wood border around the tiles is mahogany. Legs are sturdy. Table has been well cared for all these years. It looks as though wood dowels have been added to the underside from the aprons to each leg for stability. Wood finish is in good. Original condition. The weight given is a close guesstimate. Vintage 1930's Monterey Catalina Taylor? Tile Top Spanish Revival Coffee Table
Vivid colors on the tiles in this old Spanish revival table. There are twenty four tiles on this table top. I don't know the manufacturer of the tiles. But could have been made by Monterey, Catalina, Taylor or any of the other great tile and pottery manufacturers. This table is in as found condition which includes three tile with cracks as shown in the images. The flaws are located on the top right, and bottom two right tiles in the last image(not noticeable because of the busy pattern) The tiles are tight and intact. The table measures 36" long by 19" wide by 15 3/16" tall. This can be picked up in Central California to save shipping costs. California buyers must add 7.5% sales tax. We are pleased to offer this incredible. Hand crafted primitive, antique, wine/tea cart or table. This beautiful cart is very old and dates to the early 1900s. The cart is solid carved wood and features 12 old, hand made tiles from Portugal on the top tier. The wood features hand notched or carved patterns in deep relief. The wheels are solid wood and formed using 4 sections of curved wood. The cart has an ornate, raised handle bar support on each side. There are turned wood spokes on the wheels, around the top tier, and on the handle. The bottom tier features a recessed shelf with wood border. The cart is finished in an old, antiqued white which incorporates an antiqued glazing process. Teal(greenish gray blue) painted accents highlight this beautiful cart. The cart has 2 large back wheels with a fixed front center leg support. The old tiles ... moreare used to create a nautical theme and come together to form a large sailing vessel. The colors are beautiful. The tiles are signed"Rustica Portugal" There are 3 bottle holders located on the upper tier just in front of the handle. This is a beautiful, OLD and rare cart! The cart is in very good condition. There are some"chippy" areas of paint. The tiles have imperfections from the glazing process(not uncommon for their age) There is a tiny. Hairline surface crack in the signed tile. It does not penetrate the tile body and is not distracting. The wheels are wood and somewhat primitive so the cart has a"bumpy" feel to it when you push it. The wheels turn freely, it is just the hand crafted and primitive nature of their design. The wheel hubs are nailed on the cart so they do not come off and the cart will not break down for shipping. The table is decorated fully on all sides meaning that it probably a center piece as opposed to a console table that sat against the wall only. Vtg. 1930's Monterey Taylor Catalina California Spanish Revival Tile Top Table
Up for Auction is a Vintage 1930's California Tile Top Table. There are four individual 5-3/4 inch square tiles inlaid to form a 11-3/4 inch square. The tiles have a Spanish floral pattern and are dark blue/black. Turquoise, orange rust, tan and cream with a light peach color grout. The table top measures 16-3/4 inches square and stand 17 inches tall is made from a walnut colored wood. It is in very good condition for it's age. The grout is all in place, the tiles show signs of light scratches and some faint discoloration but no chips or cracks. The wood is sound and sturdy showing signs of normal wear from age and use. This fine table was painstakingly hand crafted and is exemplary of the beauty of Spanish Colonial furniture of that era. Carved from what I believe to be Nara hardwood. It's very strong and boasts a deep, rich patina that only enhances its beauty. This table can be used in a variety of settings and measures approximately 48" long, 42" wide and 30" high. Stylistically the side panels of the beautiful thick top are engraved with decorative lines, while the beautifully distinctive legs have been crafted in the shape of a lyre. While extremely sturdy, the legs can be removed from the table top as they are attached by a set of very strong metal fasteners. This auction is for a lovely antique Spanish Revival table that was made by Lifetime Furniture(formerly Grand Rapids Bookcase and Chair Co. Hastings and Grand Rapids. MI. This unique piece was painted green at some time is its past. It features carved details and an incised top that is smaller than the span of the legs. The table stands 19-1/4" tall. The top measures approximately 17-1/2" long by 12-1/2" wide and the base is 18-1/2" long by 15-1/4" wide. It does have its original label from Lifetime Furniture on the bottom. The Spanish Revival table is in very good condition. There are no cracks or chips. There are signs of wear commensurate with use and age. Please ask any questions before the last day of the auction. Arts & Crafts Spanish Revival Malibu Potteries or D&M Tile & Iron Side Table
Arts& Crafts Spanish Revival Malibu Potteries or D&M Tile& Iron Side Table Fabulous old(c. mid 1920s) D& M or Malibu Potteries four tile table in a sunburst design. Four tiles measuring 6" square each. Top of table is 13" square. It stands 20" tall. Has obvious issues with the iron. Original white paint is peeling all over. Parts where it has peeled sows rust. Underneath the table top is a rusty piece of sheet metal. This metal has a couple of holes. Probably wouldn't be too hard to refurbish the iron. You'll have to sand it down and repaint. One corner has some blue paint and a small corner of one of the tiles has some of this blue tinge. Looks like they used blue spray paint so hopefully. That blue transfer can be removed from the tile. The tiles them selves and the grout look fabulous. Tiles do have ... morecrazing but nothing more than to be expected. This is a magnificent vintage antique Art Deco wrought iron and marble top Demi lune console table with an attached etched mirror that is topped of by a bonnet/ canopy bouquet light. Circa 1930. These are usually sets in two separate pieces but this is one piece( although it is made to come apart for moving) This is one of the best I have ever seen. A stunning statement for your vestibule to make a dramatic impression on arriving and leaving guests( not to mention a great place to throw your mail and keys and check your makeup on the way out. The body and the legs are cylindrical and turned in a vase and block style, with original wicker side panels, wooden book rack shelving beneath. This rare magazine rack measures approximately 28-1/2" high by 17-3/4" wide and 11-1/2" deep. This lot consists of a Mission Style Table. With 6 Tiles- each approx. 5 3/4" x 5 3/4" in size. I haven't a clue on the maker of the tiles- D&M? Batchelder? Catalina, nor do I have a clue on the maker of the base. It could be homemade? Has a unique combination of iron and wood- I don't see another one like it on Ebay. Three of the corners have obvious cracking extending into the tile approx. 3" see photo's) Overall size of the piece is approx. 16" x 22" x 20" in height. As you can see in the photo's- this table has wheels. The wood is thick(approx. 1 1/4" and the table is heavy. Top appears to be Oak, bottom pieces not sure of(they seem to have a different finish as well) Overall condition is GOOD, but with some obvious cracking on the tiles. Don't have a clue who made the tiles or ... morethe wood portion. Appears to have been restained and/or revarnished. Also note: they're is some scratching on the tiles, but nothing too major.
