The glass balls in the feet measure 3 inches across and the legs. At the widest point, about half way up, measures 3 1/4 inches across. This table is not marked. Signed, dated, stamped or otherwise labeled. There is a small dark stain to the table top that measures approx 4inches by 2 inches. A darker spot next to that as well but not sure what that spot is. Both can be seen in the last picture. There are no major chips. Cracks or other issues to any part of the wood. It is possible this is a Louis F Nonnast table made between 1878-1888. I do not know much about this size. Style or age. If you have any information that may be helpful to identifying this piece. I would very much appreciate dropping me a line or two. Local Pick Up is best for this large. Beautiful and well taken care of item. It worries me to ship it as I have seen very few table such as this. However. It is a great table dating from the 1870s to 1880s. I am confident that it has had an overcoat applied at some point in its past, but it has a warm mellow touch to the medium walnut stain finish. The table consists of walnut and mahogany. It is all hand carved with the floral arrangements on the serpentine skirts and cabriole style legs. The four legs are joined together with cross stretchers in the center with a huge center finial that is an open cup. The overall size is 36 inches long, 26 inches deep and 30 inches high. The overall condition is good and tight. There are a couple of minute chips on the marble that we will detail out prior to shipping.

A rare find! A beautiful french parlor table from the 20's. Great detail. Lots of carving. I have had this for about 20 years. This is from a non smokers pet free adult home. For the age it is in great condition(couple of light scuffs,scratches here and there) I give this a 9+ on condition. I am VERY paritcular about the condition of furnishings in my home. I have thoroughly enjoyed this table but it is time for someone else to enjoy it. the table measures approximate 30" tall and the top measures approximatley 29" accross and weighs about 16 pounds. I am told this table is from the 1920's.don't guess it really matters but it is old.very heavy and sturdy.very well made.it is 28 inches tall and 24 inches wide.as you can see. Folk Art Side / Parlor Table with Carving of Woman - American Early 1900's
A great piece of American Folk Art- early 20th century circa 1920-30's. An excellent side/ parlor table with a whimsical carving of a reclined woman. Excellent age-appropriate patina. There is some wear to the top and the tables wobbles a little bit and could use some tightening. There is one small section of the bottom ornamentation moulding missing- about 1 inch. Beautiful vintage side table magazine rack. Solid wood piece made by G& G furniture company out of Richmond Hill L.I. Not sure the exact age of this piece guessing 40's-50's. Dimensions are 24" length x 24" height x 11" depth weight is 15 pounds. Table is in great condition for its age. With minor scratches and a few minor dings from normal use. It is a salesman sample of a hand hewed turned leg parlor table. Standing on four legs that have been turned and carved. They have stick and ball feet. The wood is oak. Note that the wood is hand hewed by the maker with a natural bow in the wood from age and settlement. The top is square at 9" on both sides. There is an"X" brace of wood in the center holding the legs sturdy and strong. Beautiful grains to the mahogany wood with a natural stain. The top shows scratches and wear to the finish. Offered for sale is this"Large" Oval Quartersawn Oak Lamp/Parlor Table. This table has large turned legs with 3" glass ball and cast iron clawfeet. It also has an oval lower shelf and a large solid(no veneer) quartersawn oak top. As you can see in 2 of the pictures someone at one time screwed or nailed through the top to secure the legs. These holes have been filled with face grain plugs and really don't detract from the appearance of this very unusual table. This table comes with a 1/4" glass to protect the top. The only condition issue is that it has been painted. And some of that paint has worn away in places. Could be stripped and restored or painted again. We are pleased to offer this EXCEPTIONAL. Antique French, Louis XVI styled parlor, library or accent table. This is a solid wood table and dates to the early half of the 20th century. The table has, at some point, been SKILLFULLY and ELABORATELY hand painted. White paint provides the perfect backdrop for the abundant, flower bouquets and ribbon trim, painted accents. The flowers range in color from red, pink, purple and blue. There are definite, artist brush strokes of contrasting highlights and shadowing. The painting is featured on the table top, the table skirt, the column and the legs. A very faint antique glaze has been applied in a few areas for more color depth. The table design is quite beautiful. It features a large. Circular top with a scalloped edge and 6 pointed corners. The top also has a subtle rope border, in relief, just inside ... morethe outer perimeter. The skirt is hexagon which provides a unique look sitting under the round top. The points of the table top align with the corners of the hexagon skirt. The column is generous with turned wood design. The base is tripod with large, cabriole legs and rounded feet. There is one drawer, located in the skirted section, with a French wreath drawer pull. This is a very beautiful table with exceptional artistic enhancements. STUNNING! The table is very heavy and sturdy. It is in very good condition with minor paint chipping in a few areas. The table is generously sized and measures 28.5" tall. The top is 31" in diameter.
