This does not affect the sturdiness/integrity of the use at all. There are light scratches. Of course, and a drip mark in the stain on one side of the Harp, which I had to inspect to find. I have included amplified photos of all this. The brass on the claw feet is what we call*Perfectly Patina-ed* so I wouldn't call that a flaw. 1940's Mersman#6651 dark mahogany side table. Collectible furniture maker. But Needs Help! Beautiful carved lyre on the base. The legs are also carved. The top is oval and has a tray edge. Top could use refinishing and the table is a little wobbly. 3 of the legs have the original brass claw end caps on them. The 4th one is missing. Pair(2) of Duncan Phyfe style/mersman Mahogany side tables with Lyre/harp base. Circa 1920's. Measurements are 27" tall x 24.5" long x 18" wide. Bought by my great great aunt originally they have never left the house until these pictures. House has been passed down. The tables are in very good shape but have a few marks/beautiful patina from over the years. Tables have not been refinished, and were oiled and old englished every so many years to preserve them. One leg has a dark area, not that noticeable. Has brass claw feet beautiful carvings on legs. Would most likely ship via Greyhound or UPS.

Duncan Phyfe Style Mahogany Side Table with Lyre Base, Circa 1920
From our grandmother's estate this Duncan Phyfe style side table is gorgeous with a rich mahogany finish. We have gently cleaned it. However due to excellent care over the years it still has the original finish. There are small knicks as would be expected from a piece of this age and with close inspection there is a light scratch on top(see close up pic) however it appears that may be removed with refinishing. However it is not easy to see and refinishing is not necessary with this piece. Beautiful lyre base with brass claw feet. Measures 24"W x 17" L x 27" H. Circa 1920's. Part of the original label is intact on the bottom of one tables the only legible part is the last 3 letters which looks like'man' and below that is the reminesce of the word'Tables' so I am guessing they are Mersman. Measurements are 27" tall x 24.5" long x 18" wide. Fantastic lyre shaped base with great carved detail and original brass claw feet all intact. They both have some age/patina including a few lighter spots nothing bothersome, some darker spots and a couple spots where the finish is more worn. One of the tops of the tables has two spots where there is a glue? or thicker finish? ... moreshown in pics. I think this could easily be lightly sanded and fixed with little effort. These are original have not been refinished so they show there natural patina they have been lightly Feed n Waxed in effort to preserve the natural luster in the Mahogany.
