ANTIQUE EARLY 1900s FRENCH ROSEWOOD MARQUETRY INLAY TULIP TABLE CARVED ROSES LEG
We are pleased to offer this beautiful. OLD, French inlay marquetry table. This wonderful accent table features a combination of mahogany and rosewood. There is a unique inlay design on the table top which features a tulip flower at each of the 4 corners. The table is oblong, not square, with rounded curves that soften the lines. The top is skirted on each side with an inlay design on the 2 longer skirted sections. The delicate cabriole legs feature a carved rose and leaf drapery detail on the upper sections with additional carving on the lower regions. The table is quite nice and is in good condition. There are some signs of age/use on the finish. These do not distract from the table and do add to its"antique character" These can be resolved, if you prefer, with a little stain and a top coat of varnish. Antique French Carved and Marquetry Inlaid Coffee and Side Tables
I can only guess that these tables are from France. I don't really know for sure where they were fabricated. The side tables are a lighter shade then the coffee table. The carving and marquetry inlay matches on all three tables as well as the stretchers and finnals. These tables have no table top scratches that I can see and only mild wear to the feet and legs. The inlay is all intact and in great shape. The protective glass for the coffee table is in perfect shape and has no sharp edges. These tables will add to any home or office decor. The pictures are a good representation of true color. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have.

Fantastic pair of matching French side tables from the 1920's. Purchased recently from an antique auction house these tables are exquisite. Being antiques. The tables have a few minor flaws and at least one repair but considering they are almost 100 years old, the condition is relatively excellent. No structural problems or major cosmetic issues. IL- Far west Chicago suburbs) UP FOR AUCTION: A gorgeous. Vintage-to-antique, Louis XV-style, inlaid, carved walnut end or side table. It is. I think, absolutely stunning. The cabriole legs are ever so gracefully carved, with Art Nouveau curving swags, foliage and overturned bellflowers. The cross-stretchers are carved as well, adorned with a carved finial; the curvy skirt/apron, carved in a shell and floral theme. The inlaid or marquetry serpentine-edge top is exquisite, with a scrolling floral pattern, in different exotic hardwoods-I'm not sure of all the wood species, but it has a wonderful burled border, and I think, mahogany and satinwood. It's unmarked as to maker. I think it's ... morelikely circa early to mid-1900s. I believe it's in original condition. And it has wonderful patina and character. I think the legs and apron/skirt are solid walnut, and the top likely walnut and assorted veneers over a secondary hardwood. It comes with a custom-cut. 3/16"thick, glass top. It's beautiful! CONDITION: Overall. I think it's in very nice vintage condition. Solid and sturdy-the joints seem tight. For it's probable age, it seems to me in wonderful condition. I really don't see much by way of nicks and scratches. The glass top has alot of small nicks or fleabites along the edges and some scratches, but, overall, they all appear very minor, and I don't really see any flaws to the glass unless I'm looking for them. Otherwise. The only flaws I can see are on the top. While overall I think the top is in wonderful condition for its age(that's probably largely attributable to the glass top-I suspect it was used) it does have two flaws: 1) There are slightly raised splits or cracks in the veneer. Shelf below is 15" by 10" Has fan(star) design marquetry on top and shelf with a band of inlay on the top. Sides are also marquetry design. One drawer on the top front measures 10" across. Nice small ormolu bow and flower design on each of the top of the legs. I believe it to be walnut but I do not know for sure. Delicate table with lovely shaped legs. Outstanding Little Marquetry Coffee Table with French Orientation-May be France
Offered is a very French nice size coffee table. Dimensions are 30 inches length. 19 inches width, 18 inches height. I don't see a scratch one on this table top. When it was first made it had strechers underneath but some where along the way they were removed and replace with wood supports. This is one of the nicest 1920s tables I have seen. 24in 1900-1950 Carved Mahogany French Marquetry Inlaid Side Tables multipe-color
Offered is a very fine pair of antique French Marquetry Inlaid and pierced carved side or lamp tables. These tables are about as close to new in condition as I have seen for 75-90 year old pieces. Accented with strechers and pie crust shelves. These 2 tables will add to any home or office decor. Dimensions are 24 inches square at the top and 14.5 inches diameter on the shelves, there is plenty of room for your favorite pair of lamps and plenty of extra space to place items on the table surfaces. I just noticed taking the time to turn the tables over that they have included a picture of the special blocks of wood inserted in the table legs and side trim as a way of connecting the pieces together. There is also on a fair part of the carvings with gilt(looks like antique gold paint possibly) really striking on these 2 tables.
