It is truly a nice period untouched table. It has a ribbon mahogany top, round corner drop leaves, heavy bold column four legged base, solid cast brass Duncan Phyfe claw foot and built in castors. I normally don’t buy period furniture like this, but I was very impressed by how untouched this piece was. The overall size is 40.5 inches long, 24 inches wide when the leaves are closed, 15 inches wide on each leaf, 52 inches long when the leaves are flipped up. The finish is very nice for being 180 years old. It does show normal nicks, dings and scratches, but I believe it would rub out nicely to make a good presentation.

Early 18th Century Queen Anne Period Cherry Pad Foot Drop Leaf Dining Table 1750
Click for a slideshow of detailed pictures! Early 18th Century Queen Anne Period Solid Cherry Drop Leaf Dining Table Probably American. C. 1750-70 Primary Woods: Cherry Secondary Woods: Yellow Pine Item# 100005WPP31 This is a remarkably well preserved original Queen Anne drop leaf dining table with gating legs over pad feet. It features solid tight grained entirely solid single planks of cherry making up the leaves and top. Each with warm patina and character brought to the forefront in a dry lightly glossy and rather early finish. Notwithstanding the significant cracks in the top and the slight warp to one leaf, the table is almost entirely original. These surfaces were repaired at one point, probably in the first quarter of the 20th century, an attempt to heal the shrink cracks along the grains of the very broad boards. To bring the best ... moreout of the table, these should eventually have the putty removed from the cracks and be repaired again properly; however, the boards are gorgeous and are full of glow even without being repaired. The leaves hang on fully original hand crafted and forged iron hinges. Each still in place and undisturbed, heavily oxidized with original hand forged screws. The frame is a fully dovetailed pine secondary structure with wonderful oxidization throughout. The gating legs join the frame with original hand forged iron hinges that uniquely swing the legs in a smooth motion- this is a rather rare feature, as legs typically would swing on a pine hinge with a wooden or iron dowel joint. The legs terminate in bold and well carved pad feet, each with excellent form. With wonderful proportions being only 40 1/4" long. This is the perfect length for a hall table in rested form with a chair on either side. In remarkably well preserved condition, the legs mostly free of repairs, an early finish and entirely original hardware, this is an excellent find for any serious collector of works from the Queen Anne period. It's just a very small& petite"tea table" that made it's way out of England. It's small. Super cute and has been around for a long, long time. Most of this type and size of table was used at"tea time" in England. They would be set up for"tes& crumpets" then taken down and set aside until needed again. because of it's small& petite size, it could go in any room of your home. It could be used as an end table, side table or window table. It's a neat item that would add interest& charm to any room in your home. It has a dark reddish mahogany patina to it. Duncan Phyfe style antique drop-leaf dining table and 4 chairs set
For consideration is a solid mahogany antique drop-leaf dining room set in the Duncan Phyfe style. Has 2 pedestals and four chairs. The table has the original Watertown slide mechanism. And was made by Extensole out of Sparta, Michigan. Entirely original, including the brass claw cap feet on pedestals. There are two leaves for this table, making it a 77 inch by 40 inch at its largest(w/the leaves) and 24 x 40 when the leaves are out and sides are dropped. 53 inches with just the 2 sides up. I have easily had 8 place settings when the leaves are in. The four chairs are also solid mahogany. And the pads have a red and green herringbone fabric on them, but they could be popped out and updated with whatever fabric is more appealing to you. The table and chairs do have expected wear on them, but they are truly in good shape. This set was my grandparents' ... morewho purchased it in the late 1920's or early 30's. Vintage Northwest Chair Company 1900-1950's Oval Maple Drop Leaf Folding Table Details Label on bottom says Northwest Chair Co. Tacoma Wash. ~ I did some research and it appears they operated out of Tacoma Washington from about 1900 to 1950. Their furniture is considered to be pretty high quality according to various comments on antique blogs, I believe this piece was first acquired by the family in the 1940's so I am guessing that's the approximate circa but it could be older as we had many other maple pieces dating back to the turn of the century. Height from floor to top of table is about 25-1/4" Long side of oval top is about 30-1/4" Short side of oval top is about 26" With one leaf dropped the table top area is about 30-1/4" long x 21-1/2" wide With both leaves dropped the table top area is about ... more30-1/4" long x 12-1/2" wide There are minor scratches and scuffs on the tabletop and various places around the support spindles and framing. Most appears superficial and could be refinished. There is crack on the inner table top skirt in one corner. It appears cosmetic not structural and is hidden beneath the table so can't be seen. This crack does not go all the way through the skirt and appears to be a shallow surface crack or grain separation. Otherwise the skirt is rock solid with no movement or looseness as a result of this minor wood split. S ee pics with arrow pointing to issue. Also there are some small chips in one of the spindle ends where it contacts the floor S ee pics with arrow pointing to issue. and the metal floor glides have some rust. These could probably be polished or replaced with nylon glides if you have hard floors. If you like restoring antique furniture then this would make a great project. Some of the work is already done because it is somewhat dismantled. The only things missing are the two pieces that hold up the leaves when they are in position but that should be relatively easy to make. It looks as though there is one coat of paint on this. The multi-colored top must have been used for a work bench at one time. There are no drill holes or saw cut marks on the top. For easier and less cost on shipping I will leave it the way it is. I may try and remove the leaves which are attached with 3 hinges each. The measurments are 41" with the leaves extended and 36" wide. Without the leaves extended it is 20" x 36" The height will be 30 1/4" when the legs are attached. Local pickup is available. Here is a vintage industrial typewriter table made by Hasco of St. Louis Mo.Mid 60's. The table is in great condition as is the walnut veneer. The table stands 26 1/2" tall and 40" wide with both flaps open and is 21" wide with the flaps down the table is 18" and has the original wheels that lock or unluck when pressing on the lever with your foot. Can roll freely and smooth or stands solid still on the feet. The metal is in great shape no rust original paint.

Here in a complete set as supplied to it's owner in 1961 complete with the solid elm drop leaf table in the rounded square style. This set has lived in the same room since new in 1961. Somewhere in between Golden Dawn and Blonde, it was a colour used before these whilst Ercoli himself was still in charge of the company. The chairs are pre-sticker.
