Library Table and Six Chairs British Oak by Jamestown Lounge Co. Mission, A&C
Jamestown Lounge Co.Jamestown. New York(established 1888) was known for their oak furniture and their signature oak stain. Table measures Length 70" Width 30" Ht. 30" Table not marked that I can locate. Prior to my acquiring the table and chairs they were used in a church library. Chairs are stamped British Oak and have decorative carving on the back. Measure Ht. 33" from floor to top of back. Seat widest measurement 17" Back 14" These pieces have been in my home for 50 years and prior to my acquiring them they were used in a church library. Jamestown made their furniture by hand until after WWI. One chair has a water stain on the seat. The table has a 1/8" hole where a lamp was used. Overall the furniture is in in good condition.
