Description: This is an early antique L&JG Stickley library table from the Onondaga Shops period in the early 1900s Mission and Arts& Crafts period in very good condition. The piece appears to be made of ash or chestnut and is extremely heavy and bulky. The top is 1.25" thick and the posts are 3.5" square. The table has unusual form with a lower shelf set high and two keyed through tenons on the sides. There are double pins at the top and bottom and the legs have a nice taper towards the bottom. The table expands and the tray ... morefits in the middle which is great for hosting large parties. Yet it can be closed up when not in use. Plus, it is on wheels and is easy to move around when serving a buffet style meal. The top closed measures 40" x 21" It is 28-1/4" tall. It is in very good condition, but there are some scratches on the top which I have add to the pictures. You can see in the one picture of the complete table top the scratches do not show, but the close up they do. I have not tried to cover them. I will let the lucky new owner of this table fix the marks. I will also be adding a table that folds down and a coffee table that has the serving tray and storage the same as this piece. The legs with braces have been repositioned using the original screws, I imagine over the years the table became wobbley and the original screw holes stripped, therefore repositioned for renewed stability. This is an antique Stickley era Mission style Arts& Crafts quarter sawn solid oak coffee table dating to the early 1900's. It appears to have originally been a library table that was cut down to be a coffee table. It measures 42-3/4" wide. 25-1/2" deep and stands 18" tall. It has bronze pulls on the drawer and the drawer is dovetailed. There are scratches and wear consistent with age and gentle use, and some minor blemishes. There are oak buttons that cover connection points and 10 are missing. I have not had a chance to replace them, but do have a bag of new oak buttons that will be included with the table. Primitive Antique Mission Style wood plant stand/small table. Another genuine early furniture piece that belonged to my Grandfather. Possibly from the 1920's( Table stands 13-1/2" tall x 11-1/2" wide across the top. Made of dark stained. 3/4" thick wood, not sure what type. Maybe maple. F our supporting legs are nicely rounded and tapered at the top. Wonderful primitive and rustic look with wear to many of the edges and residual white paint along one leg with some small splatters elsewhere. The table is 20 in. tall and is 18in. wide. The base/ legs is in excellent original condition. Great original patina. The top has a few issues. The top is made up of 3 boards and two glued up seems. One seem is original and untouched and just beginning to open up a bit. Structurally very sound. Its good. The other seem looks to have been worked on. Its tight and also very sound. The top also has 1in. area thats about 1/8in. deep that looks to me to have been sanded/ worked smooth. One or two screws missing and a few are new. PAIR ANTIQUE CARVED PINE TABLES NIGHTSTANDS SLEEK STICKLEY ARTS CRAFTS STYLE
We are pleased to offer this lovely pair of antique to older vintage tables. The tables(or nightstands) feature pine construction. They have sleek. Graceful lines in the Arts& Crafts, Stickley style. The pair have carved, slightly Art Nouveau style, details on the aprons and the upper sections of the legs. The table tops have raised, scalloped edges. Inside these edges the tops have a fixed piece of glass(not removable) The tables have crossed stretcher supports which are accented with delicate wood beading. The tables are simplistic yet sophisticated. They are in very good condition with minor signs of age/use. They are sturdy but they are relatively lightweight and somewhat delicate in design. The glass can be removed by removing the wood underneath, and it could use some cleaning on the underside. They are quite lovely! Each table ... moremeasures 27" tall and 16" square. This auction is for an Original 1906-1912 Quarter Sawn Oak L& JG Stickley Tabouret. It has its original finish. Original Work of L& JG label on arched stretcher. Base has some nicks. Mostly to edge of legs. A couple scratches and stains to top. Octagonal top has through posts or tenons. Stretcher is pinned. It has a nice dark brown with reddish color. It measures approx. 17" high by 15" across top. Spline joint on end may look a little open at bottom on side view but this joint is tight& strong. Small dot seen in pictures on bottom of top appears to be original old hyde glue. Small amount of checking(slightly open cracks) to one leg(see picture) Again finish looks original to me and I have restored woodwork for over 30 years. Stickley Era Antique Mission Oak Arts& Crafts Tabouret Table Stand Cut Outs Description. For your consideration is a: Stickley Era Antique Mission Oak Arts& Crafts Tabouret Table Stand Cut Outs. This Period Arts& Crafts Stand Has its original Finish and a very unusual cut out design on all 4 of its canted sides. The construction is solid and is very unusual with dado joints on two of the sides of the base for the other sides of the base to fit into. The top also is attached in an unusual fashion in order to prevent cracking as the wood shrinks across the grain over time. There is a piece of wood on the inside of the base which is larger than the opening at the top and has sides angled to match the canted sides of the base. This wood piece is attached to the underside of the top with screws which pulls the top of the stand to the ... morebase(just a note to lift the stand by the base and not the top so you don't put undo stress on the top. I have added rubber washers to the screws th at attach the wood block in the base to the underside of the top in order to take up some space from wood shrinkage since I did not want to over tighten the screws and crack the top or worse screw through the top. And the fix works well. There is a label under the t op with the number 52 and also also also some letters marked underneath the top which I wasn't able to make out. This stand is unlike any other that I have encountered and I am sure it will make a great addition to your Stickley. Looking to sell a Art& Crafts. Stickley style Oak coffee table. 1900-1920. Table top is solid oak. This piece would have been a dining table that had it's base cut down to make it a coffee table. There is a stain and various other imperfections on the top that would require refinishing.Coffee tables didn't exist when this table was manufactured. Really nice piece. 42" diameter and 17" high. This charming table is an original Stickley Bros table in its original finish. It features a front drawer. Two very nice side leaves and a short back splash. It's 26.25" long with the leaves down and 40.5" long with them up, 18" deep and 29.25" tall(add another half inch for the back splash. This table has been in my family since the 1950s. I have for sale a genuine antique L&JG Stickley coffee table. It has two drawers that have hand hammered metal pulls. Inside of a drawer has the tag that reads: THE WORK OF L. J. G. STICKLEY The table's dimensions are: 48" wide. 30" deep, and 16" tall. The table top has a thickness of 1" It has a 1/16" gap between the planks that is about 17" long. see last photo) The drawers are constructed with dovetail joints and are: 25" deep. 18.5" wide, and 3.5" tall. It has all original finish. Please note that the legs are cut shorter from the original length—By previous owner(see photo#11) This is a sturdy. Antique Stickley Brothers Quaint ? Arts & Crafts Mission Sideboard With Mirror
Stickley Brothers Quaint(I think) Arts& Craft Mission Style China Cabinet This sideboard measures approx. 63 1/2" wide x 57" tall x 22" deep. I'm not sure if it has been refinished at some point. It does not have the Quaint Stickley brothers label. But I'm told it is Quaint Stickley Brothers and that it was purchased at the same time as other pieces that I'm listing separately. There are two small drawers surrounded by an open cabinet on each side, as well as a larger bottom drawer. There is a mirrored back on the sideboard. I'll have several listings over the next several weeks for nice early Stickley Brothers Quaint Arts& Crafts dining room pieces. These pieces are believed to be very early 1900's. They were purchased by the consignor's grandmother in the Midwest and have been in the family ... moreever since. I don't know if these pieces are in original condition or if they have been refinished at some point. Only the dining chairs have the original Quaint Stickley Bros tag. However. I'm told that all the pieces that I will be listing are part of the set. I cannot verify that, but all pieces appear to be either Quaintly Sticley bros. or a very similar style. Antique/ Vintage Octagonal Top. Small Table in Mission or Arts and Crafts or Stickley Style End. Plant, Fern Stand, Taboret 16 1/2" high x 11 1/2" x 11 1/2" Very versatile piece to use as a side table. End table, nightstand or a plant/fern stand. Octagonal top is made in one part. And sits inside the legs. The legs which measure approx 2 1/2” x 5/8” Extend approx 3/4” above the octagon top. The bottom of the legs are cut out“clothespeg or clothespin” shape. Crossbars are sturdily notched into each other. And sit 4 3/4" from base. Excellent condition structurally. This is a gorgeous hard heavy wood that I believe is either cherry or walnut.
