This is an antique heavy table that has been in the family for years. My dad refinished this beautiful round oak table years ago. The table is 29" tall and 23 1/2" round. The bottom shelf is 13" from the floor. The top of the table has a design etched in the wood. This would make a nice foyer. Side table or lamp table. Also great for the Christmas Holidays to hold your Nativity set. This is a very sturdy table. It seems as if a small piece of glue has come loose from the top of the table on one of the seams. The verde green finish base stands 21 1/2" high with finial. 7" wide decorative platform and the harp has a 1" riser. The base has a cloth cord, antique plug and a bryant two light pull chain cluster; one click, the left socket comes on, two clicks, both sockets comes on, third click, the right bulb turns on and fourth click, is off. The top of the lamp where the light cluster begins has(3) small splits(refer to last picture) and has been like this since I purchased the base years ago. This is the only issue with the base. It is in very good condition. When I purchased the base from the previous owner. They also gave me what appears to be a"handel" type harp. I was told ... morethat this was the original harp but they removed it and replaced the existing harp so they could use a fabric shade. I am including the antique harp with the base. In my opinion. Rare Antique Gateleg Table with Up and Over Leaf
I've had to rearrange my studio and no longer have room for this fabulous table. It is rectangular. 50" x 36" when fully open. One leaf folds down, the other up and over. It has two small drawers. You can put the table against a wall and leave one leaf down, the other up, for a truly unique, upscale antique look in an entryway or foyer. It also has a beautiful gold painted leaves that look almost like an inlay. This table has been well cared for over the years. It has no deep scratches. Full disclosure: It is missing one caster on one of the butterfly wings, but is fully functional without it.

There are upholstering tack holes on the underneath side which are unnoticeable unless you turn it over! At one time it had a material skirt that hung down! From the bottom of its feet to the top of the scrolled leg it stands 22 1/2" inches tall! From the floor to the table top it stands 10 1/2" tall! It measures 41" wide! I'm selling a very old and unique folding table. Appears to be from the early 1900's. Really a great old primitive camp table. It's in very strong sturdy condition. The table top oak boards are each hinged in several places so that it can fold up and hold the leg section. The top when opened has a swinging cross bar that locks into the other side to hold all boards flat and stable. The leg sections are all hinged and pull open and closed. When opened the table top locks into the bottom legs making a very sturdy table. They definitely don't make them like this anymore. Black finish w/ painted trim and floral decorations. Turned fluted legs. Curved stretchers with center finial. Underneath is the THONET label(see photo# 10) w/ patent: March 29th, 1910. It is also stamped: Made in Czechoslovakia… and some other undecipherable words, just under that. There is also the numeral"60" stamped(incised) in three different places, along the lower edge of apron, underside of oval, and under the wood stretchers(see photo# 11) The table is very sturdy and well made. I'm not sure of the wood species. As it is over 100 year old, there is some obvious wear. There are two nicks, one(smaller) on top edge of leg(see photo# 9) and one(largest) nick on ... moreedge of oval(see photo# 10) and some obvious wear to finish and a slight edge split between boards. In researching this table, I can state it is indeed- RARE! Table measures: 30.25" x 22.25" x 30" tall. The entire leg/stretcher rail assembly was carefully taken apart and restored by gluing/clamping and screwing everything in place making it non-removable, the table is now rock solid, it was very wiggly-jiggly prior to restoration. There was no need for the sides/legs to be removable, so I chose to make it much more solid I love the original trim around the edges of the top. It has great details The top is made from a 4 way book-matched(4 pieces of veneer book-matched together)walnut burl veneer.I meticulously hand rubbed 10 coats of varnish to achieve the incredible luster and depth which showcases the walnut wood.there are small natural cracks& a few tiny dings in the center of the top burled area.all character is consistent with its age. That is what makes it a beautiful antique The medallions on the ends. Sides& legs are made from Bakelite(original resin) or Bakelite type material. The medallions have some cracks and a few medallions have cracks& small pieces missing. We are pleased to offer this beautiful set of 4 nesting tables. The tables date to the early half of the 20th century and are of Middle Eastern origin. The tables are solid rosewood or mahogany with a medium to dark stained finish. There is no veneer. The tables feature superbly carved table top perimeters. Inside the carved sections are lavish and intricate medallions which are created using inlaid brass. The tables are old and constructed using flat screws. Because of their handmade design. You will notice that the brass borders are not completely straight in all areas. These were not machine made. They fit together nicely as a group or can be used individually. The smallest table has a single drawer with the inlaid brass present on the drawer face. The tables are heavy and well made. They are in very good antique condition. Two of the ... moretables have a loose section of brass that can be tacked into place. There are no missing brass sections. There are a few, minor, surface nicks that are not severe or distracting. They do add to the aged character of the tables but can be resolved if you so desire. This is an elaborate set of extremely nice construction and beauty. The tables measure as follows in descending order: Table#1 is 20" tall. 19.75" wide and 11.5" deep. Table#2 is 19.5" tall, 17.75" wide and 11" deep. Table#3 is 18.5" tall, 16" wide and 11" deep. RARE ANTIQUE GRAND 40" ITALIAN DECO ROSEWOOD BRONZE MARQUETRY HAND PAINTED TABLE
We are pleased to offer this EXCEPTIONAL AND RARE DESIGN. Antique(early 20th century) Italian Marquetry entry, library, console table. This is a GRAND table, both in scale as well as detail. The table is Rosewood veneer with inlay(marquetry) designs. The table has been completely hand painted(original) in a fabulous flower and drapery pattern. The floral theme is continued in the design of the table base. The base features a very rare, Art Deco, flower petal form stretcher which is incorporated beautifully into the table design. Each of the 6 petals attaches to each of the table's legs. There are intricate bronze feet which rest on the stretcher. The legs are separated with fabulous arches. The arches are accented with bronze trim. There are also large bronze decorative mounts on the table apron, in between the legs and arches. The painted ... moredetails are superb. The flowers are quite unique with a"ringed" accent detail on each bulb. This is an incredibly beautiful and unique table. It is not marked but it is quite special. It is large and heavy. It is in very good condition with minor signs of age/use. As is quite common with these pieces, there are areas of"bubbling" to the veneer but all of the veneer is intact. The bronze is completely intact with no missing pieces. There are some"gaps" if you will, around the table top where the bronze trim is located. This means that, although still attached, you can see a space between the trim and the table top in a few areas. This is neither severe nor distracting. You can also see the sections where the table base comes together. The high gloss finish does have surface scratches and some pitted areas on the table top. These are visible in direct light, and not noticeable unless in direct light. In general, this is a fabulous table in VERY GOOD condition. This is a one of a kind design. It is truly beautiful. This impressive rare vintage lab table originated in a school science lab. It was produced in the 1920's by E. H. Sheldon Co.out of Muskegon. Mi. E H Sheldon went into business in 1898 and was one of the pioneers of modern laboratory furniture. It stands 33" tall and has a gorgeous 60" x 42" wood top that is edged with stunning brass. The drawers measure 14" x 13" x 4" and it has platforms that pull out 24" from the table.
