Drexel Heritage Meridian Antique Dresser
If you would like to arrange to see this in person before the end of the auction please contact me and we can arrange that. It is listed for sale locally so the auction may end early. This is a beautiful Drexel Meridian Dresser with the model number 914- 132- 2 stamped on the back along with the words Meridian by Drexel. I believe the final stamping is the date it was manufactured but I am not 100% sure of that. My wife gave me the idea that it could have also been a limited edition run and this is number 5 of only 64 made but again I am not sure just tossing idea's out there. The first picture listed is what it looks like put together. It is not the actual dresser but a picture of it I found on the internet that is identical. I wanted to show what it looked like put together with the mirror. The second picture is the mirror. Kind of ... morehard to tell what I was taking a picture of so thought I should clarify it. The rest of the pictures are of the actual dresser so you can see exactly what it looks like. What I can tell you for sure is this is beautiful and all in good working order. The drawers all slide in and out nicely and the two doors on the front open like they should also. This does have the mirror that mounts on the back along with the mounting hardware. I am not sure what kind of the wood it is but can tell you for sure it is very heavy& well made. I can also tell you the drawers are dovetail and they are all in good working order. This is a very nice high quality piece of furniture. I would be willing to bet even though it's 50 years old it could last another 50 years in my opinion.
