Vintage Industrial Factory Cart Coffee Table
This is a beautiful example of the industrial carts made in the first decade or two of the twentieth century. I have added a salvaged wood top in my professional woodworking shop. Where it was in use for decades. It almost certainly dates to the construction of the industrial complex my shop is in, built in the teens. All the running gear are in good order. Vintage 1920s Industrial German ISIS Drafting Table
This 1920s ISIS German industrial cast iron drafting table is all complete and in great condition. It features the original pencil tray. Drafting arm, 5” locking casers, C clamps for holding down an art board with a smooth surface. The counter weights are perfectly balanced for ease of motion when raising, lowering, or tilting the top. The top can be angled horizontally flat, vertically straight, and everything in between. It also features a foot peddle for locking-in the correct height of the table and a hand knob for locking-in the correct angle. French Industrial Hure Dining / Restaurant Pub Table Vintage
I have a love for the old cast iron bases made from the late 1800s to the 1940s. A French machinist named P. Hure built many different lathes and milling machines that stood on them. They are rare and very hard to find. Especially in America, so I built this base as a tribute to him. It’s built with 1/4″ thick steel which is the heaviest gauge we’ve used to date. And the large connecting screw has a 2″ diameter with a 3″ nut that holds the two bases together. It’s massive and curvy lines blend well to support the 2 3/4″ thick worn oak top which is adorned with metal trim and bolted corner protectors. The base is a cast iron pedestal from a metal working lathe from 1942. The door on the front opens. The original layers of paint are still there with a different shade showing thru in various spot from many years of use. The cast iron has been cleaned and lightly waxed to bring out its full character. The top is from a retired Patternmakers shop and was turned on a large wood lathe many years ago. It was a blank intended to be shaped into a pattern to make a mold to be poured in metal but was never used. It is built up from many layers of dense plywood with a top layer of fir in a pie wedge design for stability. Holes have been plugged. Vintage Stacor Industrial Drafting Table 38"x60" Tilts/Height Adjusts Deco

Also please note that I have the board on wrong for the pictures. It needs spun 180 degrees. It is heavy. The board alone weighs 53 lbs and the base is at least another 200 lbs-feels more like 250 lbs to me. It has some light rust and needs cleaned up. Most of the board is in good shape but there are 2 gouges in it that are 1" to 1 1/4" down from what should be the top edge. There is an electrical outlet on the one side that accepts 3 plugs. This needs new wiring run to it as the old wiring looks rough. When set with the wood table horizontal the height adjusts from 36 1/2" fully down to 45 1/2" fully up. It also may be tilted 90 degrees. ... moreTilt and height are controlled by the 2 step pedals on the bottom and both the tilt and height stay in place once you set them. The board itself is 1" thick by 60 1/4" long by 38" deep. Counting the metal strips on the bottom it is 40 1/2" deep. The metal table top underneath is 32 1/4" tall by 18 1/4" deep by 48 1/4" long. You'll probably want to hit the top with a sander and recoat it before use. There are a few tack holes but not many. Also you'll want to replace some of the wood screws that hold the top fast to the frame with the next size bigger screw as a couple of the holes are worn some. Tough to find late 1930's Howell table/ desk designed by Wolfgang Hoffmann. Top measures 36" x 24" and the height is 29" Original metal plating. Screws, end caps and pained wood top. Could be easily modified into a console table with a different longer and more narrow top. Very similar to streamline modern steel furniture designed by Gilbert Rohde for Troy Sunshade, KEM Weber for Lloyd and the furniture sold by Royalchrome and Mckay. You're looking at a custom. One-of-a-kind, vintage industrial dining table/ kitchen island/ bar with gorgeous age. This piece contains no new parts whatsoever and was constructed using repurposed butcher block and an antique cast iron base salvaged from an old piece of(printing) machinery. It was made with Toledo stools in mind though any stool with a decent height would work. Seats 8+ adults comfortably. The 2" thick butcher block table top was cleaned. Sanded, stained in walnut and given 3 applications of polyurethane to seal it. You can see from the photos, the superb character of the wood. Amazing vintage Emmert Drafting Table! Only one of five known to exist. This table is in near perfect, vintage condition. The table is complete with it's adjustable cast iron base, wood drawer, very clean drafting surface and all the hardware that helps it tilt, rotate, raise and lower. The drafting machines on top came with the table, although I do not think they are original to it. Vintage TOLEDO UHL Machine Age Industrial Typewriter, Task, Table,t w/Wood Top
Here is a nice Old Vintage UHL TOLEDO Table! Industrial heavy duty construction with wood top! Measures approx 22 1/2"L x 19 1/2"W X 26"H and very heavy! Has a working lever underneath which raises the wheels so the tables weight is on the steel ball feet for stability. When you wish to move the reverse happens by moving the lever. Is in very good condition with no major issues. Scratches. Some rust here and there, mostly around the steel ball feet, but nothing out of the ordinary. Wood surface has some discoloration(see pic) like an outline where something may have rested on it for a long time. There are a couple of machined holes on wood surace as well that may have been to adhere a shelf or something to at one time. Real good little table that can be used in a myriad of ways! CAST IRON WHEELS, LOVELY ARCHITECTURAL TRESTLE LEGS& SIGNED"CARDINELLI TRUEDGE SINCLAIR NEW JERSEY" on its original paper label affixed to metal side bar with the caption on label reading"STRAIGHTENS ANY DRAWING BOARD" see pic close-up of label and metal side bar provided) Table measures approx. with the flat drawing board stationed in an upright flat position approx. 32.5" tall x 31" wide x 42" long. The top wood drawing board tilts down(see pics) via a cast iron wheel attached at its side(see pics)it tilts on each of 2 curved cast iron arc(see pics) at either side and works well. There is also a large slotted cast iron wheel which I believe may have the purpose of raising and lowering ... morethe legs-I have not tried this wheel so I am not sure-please see pics of wheel-legs-and all angles to ascertain functions and condition of piece. Piece is intact and sound. It does have some wear and some abrasions to surfaces and finish with the flat drawing/drafting board top showing some abrasion to top surface(see pics) I can see no prominent cracks or chips to frame-has some smaller chips, there is a thin piece of board which is attached to one side of top of drawing board which looks like a decorative rather than functional piece-it is a stip of board along the outside rim-it has a crack and has been reglued to side of table-this decorative strip shows some damage-see last pic provided of this feature. This piece would make a great 1940s-1950s Mid-Century Modern true Vintage Architectural Industrial table in any home, the cast iron wheels are lovely and have a very Industrial look, pretty wood trestle legs and drafting/drawing board tilt top, true to period. smoke free home. This wheel is off of a"Lineberry" railroad/ factory cart. It is called a"commercial" In the casting on the inside of the wheel is a little"splatter" it is part of the original casting. Lineberry Railroad Factory Cart Wheel Cast Iron vintage Industrial Floret
This is a LINEBERRY wheel off of a factory railroad cart. The wheel is cast iron. This design is called the Floret. It measures12"x3" and has a 1 1/2" hole diameter x 2 1/2" deep. I have washed this wheel with soap and water. Dried it, then coated it in linseed oil to prevent rust. Check out our other items we do combine shipping!
