This is a very nice pair of carved and fluted 1890's Victorian walnut brackets or corbels. They measure 6" high x 3 3/4" deep at the top and are 1 1/2" wide. The original finish has been removed. They are in good condition with no damage or repairs. We also have some other larger brackets presently listed at auction. We will gladly combine lots whenever possible to save on shipping costs. These are two pairs of older. Iron shelf brackets that have arms that are 3 1/2" long. The ornate bracket has two mounting holes and there are two mounting holes on the shelf rests. Antique, Swing Arm Curtain Rods, With Brackets
I have for sale a beautiful set of Victorian. Swing Arm Curtain rods, antique as far as I can tell) complete with brackets. I've included a photo of a an example of some rods(examples, not necessarily these rods) in use in my Victorian home where they used to hang. They can swing out to facilitate opening windows, cleaning windows, or letting in more light. I found them beautiful as well as functional. I have several sets for sale now as I have relocated. The rods are complete with the necessary brackets. These are lighter weight then the others I have and I m not sure what they are made from. They do have a little rust, and you may want to paint them. I had them in a shabby chic room and preferred them unpainted. They fit on either side of a window and swing open or shut. They extend from 16 3/4" to 23" on either side. They ... morestick out 4" from the wall. In theory. They should cover a window 46" wide; however, as you extend them, they become weaker and tend to sag(I am being honest here because I found this out the hard way) I had them installed one set to each single, double hung window. I slid the curtains on to the rods. Some people use rings to attach to rods and you can purchase rings to fit if you like that look. Brackets included. The brackets are hard to find and essential. I will try to get the other sets posted today or feel free to contact me to see other sets. These rods are hard to find this complete and very expensive in antique shops when you can find them. I think the lucky winner will be very happy with their purchase. Please look closely and ask questions as there are no returns. I've done my best to describe accurately. They have no cracks and slight signs of use and age. There is a little paint loss to the black enamel and some minor surface rust as shown in the pictures. These have a nice decorative pattern of the period. Nice set overall. That's about it. The pictures should be helpful to those having interest. Her we have a 2 nice seest of ANTIQUE VINTAGE ORNATE 2 CAST IRON WALL SHELF SHELVES BRACKETS. I would rate them to be on a(8+/9) used vintage shape. The brackets measure 9 1/2" tall x 7 1/2 across the top. They have an ornate curl on the end where the shelf would rest. I would say a 6" deep shelf would be placed in the area. Each side of the shelf brackets have 4 holes for mounting to the wall and 4 holes to mount the wood shelf you provide. These were commonly used at the turn of the century and seen in Grocery Stores. VINTAGE GREEN PORCELAIN BATHRO OM SET, INCLUDING WALL-MOUNT TOOTHBRUSH AND CUP HOLDER COMBO, TOILET PAPER HOLDER, AND TOWEL BRACKETS. I'm guessing these date from the 1940s or 1950s, though they could be earlier. The color is a vibrant spring green. I'm not sure if they were ever used; there is no cement or mortar residue on the backsides, and they seem to be in like-new condition. There are slots on the backs, so there may have been a piece of hardware that was screwed into the wall and then slipped into each slot to hold these in place. If so. I do not have those. With the exception noted below, they are in excellent condition, with no chips. Cracks, crazing, or loss of color. One of the towel brackets(shown on the right in photos 9 and 10) looks like it has a repaired chip or break; you can see the fine crack and the glue used ... morein the repair. This piece does seem solid now. And the repair won't be very noticeable with a towel bar in place. Measurements: The toothbrush and cup holder combo is 4 1/4 inches wide, 1 5/8 inches tall, and projects 3 1/4 inches from the wall. The toilet paper holder is 6 inches wide, 4 1/4 inches tall, and projects 3 1/2 inches from the wall. The towel brackets are each 1 5/8 inches wide, 1 7/8 inches tall, and project 3 1/4 inches from the wall. Description(4) vintage cast iron wall mounted brackets. The vintage cast brackets came out of an old shed where horse harnesses were draped over the rounded cut-outs on the top portion as they would mount. Also. There was other tack hung on the old cast hangers. Absolutely no cracks, breaks, or repairs on the brackets. All solid cast iron. All have three flanged cast iron lips for the wall mount security. If you wold look closely, you can see that the extended arm that carries the load is arched like a bridge for added strength. They x 1/4" x 1/2" oval arched support that connects from the wall mount to the scalloped top supports. They are very well constructed. The brackets measure approx. 16 inches wide. 12 inches tall and 1.75 inches thick at the thickest part of the design.
