The sides of the mirror feature an open wire pattern, so French. The patina, coloring is all original and so French! Some chippy paint, some fading, just aged wonderfully. French Industrial Hure Dining / Restaurant Pub Table Vintage
I have a love for the old cast iron bases made from the late 1800s to the 1940s. A French machinist named P. Hure built many different lathes and milling machines that stood on them. They are rare and very hard to find. Especially in America, so I built this base as a tribute to him. It’s built with 1/4″ thick steel which is the heaviest gauge we’ve used to date. And the large connecting screw has a 2″ diameter with a 3″ nut that holds the two bases together. It’s massive and curvy lines blend well to support the 2 3/4″ thick worn oak top which is adorned with metal trim and bolted corner protectors. Superbly designed and crafted, this table offers the best in design and construction. The top is glass, eglomise, reverse painted or finished in a STUNNING tortoise shell pattern around the outer border. The center is clear with a reverse painted Neoclassical pattern/border which separates the tortoise shell pattern from the clear center. The table features 3 water bearing female caryatids which are gilded brass. Each maiden is carrying a large orb vessel, also in gilded brass. The maidens connect the table top to the bottom tier. They have caned tops that are in great condition that are covered by glass tops. They are a light colored and are made from solid oak. These are either French or English in origin. The largest table measures 18 inches tall and the top is 21 1/2 inches by 14 1/2 inches. The middle sized table measures 17 inches tall and the top is 17 3/4 inches by 12 1/2 inches. The smallest table measures 16 inches tall and the top is 14 inches by 10 1/2 inches. I see no breaks or repairs on this set. Title Vintage French Wrought Iron Mirror Top Side Table, Circa 1950's-60's. Finished in Annie Sloan Country Grey. This is a lovely genuine vintage French wrought iron side table. It has some nice detail and retains it's original mirror top in good condition. There are three legs which curve outwards leading down to claw feet. There is an acanthus leaf at the top of each leg with a plain central bar and two outer parts to each leg which have a twisted rope effect. The legs are joined underneath in the centre with a ball finial. Do not confuse this with modern wrought iron tables which are made from thin steel. Vintage French Onyx Nesting Tables This is a set of beautiful onyx stone nesting tables with brass bases. The stone is an unusual shade of pale green with white and brown marbling. The tables are rectangular and graduated in size so that one fits inside the next and so on. a great design. Please keep in mind that these tables are vintage and therefore there are some nicks and scratches to the stone and patination to the metal. Wood and Marble Side Table Occasional Accent Antique Vintage Regency French
I am selling this solid wood and marble side table in the French Regency style. It is antique but I do not know how old it is and it's in very good condition with light scuffing on the feet and some crazing in the wood(fine cracks. It is 25" high and the marble is 26" diameter. The photos make it look gold but it is more brown. The marble has one very faint water ring from a glass and a couple of light scratches. All this is only visible in very close inspection and does not normally show but I am trying to disclose everything I can. When displayed. This French provincial side/end table was made between 1920-1930. It has the cabriole style legs and this style is very reminiscent of the 1920's period. Very well constructed. It does have some scuffs and scratches due to it's vintage age. See pics. It has some watermarks on one of the legs that was there when previous owner bought it back in the 1950s. The cabriole legs are ever so gracefully carved, with Art Nouveau curving swags, foliage and overturned bellflowers. The cross-stretchers are carved as well, adorned with a carved finial; the curvy skirt/apron, carved in a shell and floral theme. The inlaid or marquetry serpentine-edge top is exquisite, with a scrolling floral pattern, in different exotic hardwoods-I'm not sure of all the wood species, but it has a wonderful burled border, and I think, mahogany and satinwood. It's unmarked as to maker. I think it's ... morelikely circa early to mid-1900s. I believe it's in original condition. And it has wonderful patina and character. I think the legs and apron/skirt are solid walnut, and the top likely walnut and assorted veneers over a secondary hardwood. It comes with a custom-cut. 3/16"thick, glass top. It's beautiful! CONDITION: Overall. I think it's in very nice vintage condition. Solid and sturdy-the joints seem tight. For it's probable age, it seems to me in wonderful condition. The glass top has alot of small nicks or fleabites along the edges and some scratches, but, overall, they all appear very minor, and I don't really see any flaws to the glass unless I'm looking for them. Otherwise. The only flaws I can see are on the top. While overall I think the top is in wonderful condition for its age(that's probably largely attributable to the glass top-I suspect it was used) it does have two flaws: 1) There are slightly raised splits or cracks in the veneer. RARE ANTIQUE VINTAGE ART DECO FRENCH POILLERAT GILDED IRON & STEEL COFFEE TABLE
Very unique and beautiful table! Table features a tiered appearance and is made of gilded iron with steel accents. There are stainless steel balls welded to each of the upper corners. There are steel. Circular rings welded on the frame for decorative interest. The table has iron feet of ball and claw design. The table is not marked. It is VERY HEAVY and is in good condition. There is cosmetic evidence of age with some age spots and some loss of gilding in a few areas. These are not distracting and can be resolved if you do not appreciate the aged character. The table is designed for a glass top, but the glass is not present. The glass is designed to sit inside the upper rings and the rings will keep the glass secure and in place. We are pleased to offer this exceptional and quality pair of Mid Century(dated 1975) end tables or nightstands from Drexel. The pair were part of their"San Martino" collection which was a French Country/Provincial inspired collection. The tables are of a lower profile and feature beautiful. Flame mahogany, rectangular tops achieved in a 4 piece parquetry. The columns are urn shaped and are fluted. The bases are a 4 section, carved and raised corbel design. The tables are in good condition with only very minor evidence of age/use. They are sturdy and structurally very nice. The tables are 17.25" tall.
