Tea Table features nice deep color and grain pattern. With a scalloped skirt resting on four cabriole legs with slight carving to knees, with protective hard rubber foot terminal ending. There are no candle slides on this model. Construction is rock solid steady with stamped markings underneath, but no maker name, could be any one of several small factories making colonial reproductions of good quality well before the internet and big box store days. Glue blocks on corners undererneath are nice and sound. This is all solid wood, not a cheap chip board foreign mahogany lookalike with sprayed laquer finish that looks garish in person! Condition Report: Slight rub mark to leg as shown. Small burn mark on top. General wear and tear of a used piece. But not abuse; I will clean it up before pickup as I do with all my dealer furniture to presentation quality ready for your home. There are the remnants of a paper label on the bottom of the base but it cannot be read. The table measures 26.75" high and 32" in diameter. It appears that it may have been refinished at some point in time. This table is structurally sound with no cracks and no signs of previous repairs. There are some scratches from use in the finish. New debut offering this week is a petite vintage custom made Mahogany Dish Top Round Candlestand with splay leg feet on a turned baluster in very nice condition preowned and deaccessioned from a law partner's corporate office ready to be used in your colonial home. Please look at the pictures taken outside in natural sunlight. Vintage American made Candlestand is unmarked as to the manufacturer and made of solid grade tight grained Mahogany in a deep rich stained color like a fine antique. I approximate this to be at least 30 years old or so due to being a one owner piece and style of construction. It is far better than the cheap imported Bombay Company furniture now out of business, it is American bench made quality with good lines, nice weight for it size, and good lines and looks very study on the floor ... moreand stable. It measures 21.5" tall and 16" across the top fitted with a carved raised dish ring around the edge. The splay legs are mortised into the base pedestal but not dovetailed. The item is from smoke free home all around. It may also be used as a Wine Stand or small lamp table chair side, so versatile, you can tuck it anywhere. Condition Report: Preowned Candlestand is used. But not abused. Slight darkening of center circle on top from light exposure but overall even coloration. From my aunt's estate is a beautiful Mahogany leather top coffee table with original pulls! Looks to have an italian style to it. Think there were brass cups with wheels attached that fit on the legs. But do not have them. Note the pretty inlaid on the side of the table. Have not attempted to clean it because I am no expert on this type of furniture. INFORMATION I HAVE IS BASED ON SEARCHING THORUGH OTHER EBAY AUCTIONS THAT HAVE BEEN COMPLETED. This is a very nice dining Table which would seat 8 people fully extended and folds down to a drop leaf table. It was made in Michigan circa 1940 l would say. It has satinwood string inlay to the legs. There are two leafs that go into the center, great for entertaining then you can fold it away, the condition is very good. Antique Imperial Style Mahogany Tea Cart 1930s
Up for bid is an Antique Imperial Style Mahogany Tea Cart from the 1930s. It is in good condition for it's age but does show signs of surface wear and use which can bee seen in pictures. The only other condition issue is that one of the large wheels is loose and a little unstable due to the spokes not being tight enough. The cart still rolls fine but getting that repaired would be a good idea. It has the Imperial Logo in the drawer. Without the folding leaves up it measures 28" long. 18" wide, and 28" tall. With the leaves up it measures 39" wide. It has a handle for pushing that folds down, a glass shelf insert that moves in and out, and a bottom wooden shelf. The wood is carved and held together nicely. One of the smaller wheels does detach when lifted up but could be glued if desired. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Petite accent table. The table is made of mahogany and dates to the early half of the 20th century. It features extremely ornate carvings and is in the French Rococo style. The table is a half round, demilune design. It has a very pronounced skirt with heavily carved flowers and leaves. The legs are also nicely carved with beautiful lines and curves. An ornate stretcher supports and connects the legs. The feet are in a claw design with the front, center foot being the only"whole" foot. The table has been(I don't know when) painted on the top as well as an accent to the flowers on the skirt. The paint is an off white to cream in color. It appears that the table top has an antiquing glaze as well. The table is quite beautiful.
