Vntg Antique Victorian oak Iron wall coat Hat Hall Rack Mission era Craftsman
Unusual and lovely find. Antique wall coat and hat rack. It is an original. And not very common; even the single ones are becoming rare. Beautiful. Long, iron stylized hooks on the top tier; I believe these were for gentlemen's hats. Large in size- 33" long- a real show piece. The wood is oak and as the original finish on it. The hooks can be folded over out of the way when not in use. There originally were 5 long on the top. But one must have been lost, so a bottom one was moved up. I did not notice at first, and then thought it was for a corner wall, but no, there is one missing from the bottom. Rack is approximately 33 by 7" wide in measurements. A very special original home decor item. When attaching to wall. It needs 2 sets of hooks on each wooden tier for security. Thank you. See pictures for further detail.

Floral Victorian/ Nouveau/ Deco Era Cast Iron Curtain Tie Back Brackets
This auction is for a pair of decorative floral tie back/ brackets. They are made of cast iron with bent metal wall brackets. The design depicts a lyre shape with a central flower; reminiscent of Victorian/ Nouveau/ or Deco eras. The cast iron piece itself is stamped: 1094" although there is no maker mark. The floral decorative part of these brackets measure: 2 1/2" x 5" ISSUES: Although originally black with gilt; some of the paint has worn away and so there are dull unpainted spots in addition to some superficial rust spots. Although the rust areas; aren't glaring. you may wish to spruce them up. The decorative cast iron piece is held on to the bracket with a screw between two tabs and I think it would be easy enough to unscrew them; scrub them with a wire brush. Give them a coat of black paint and embellish with paint ... moreto suit your own palette. These items do not smell of smoke. Mildew, must, mothballs or have pet odor. Red Maltese Cross and Stars Victorian Era Style Curtain Tie Backs-Nail backs-4
The heads of these are different styles but similar sizes. But they are similar in color. I believe these are mid-century reproductions of Victorian era tie backs. The main reason I say that is that these are lighter weight, and have lucite or plastic heads, and not glass. The designs are very much like their antique counter-parts. These do have some age on them, though. The straight nail form shaft is 2 1/4" long on all four. The heads are approx. 3/4" in diameter. One has a smaller star shaped rosette, and a second is a bit larger. Two have a maltese cross shape, with one larger than the other. We state ONLY when insurance IS included. Pay Pal only please.

Here are two vintage period pieces. Inkwells, probably early 1899's. First is a single inkwell, square very thick clear glass well. There is a gorgeous gold very ornate embossed brass overlay that overflows the edges and goes down the sides. The lid is beautifully ornate also, the base, round with brass beading build for the inkwell to sit on. On the bottom it says Pat appl for. The second inkwell is beautifully footed ornate with scrollwork and shellwork. There is a clear inwell insert in the metal. Both inkwells have been used but both are gorgeous sitting on a desk. 1800's Picture Hanging Nail/ Milk Glass Porcelain Rosette Head 2 3/4 inches in Length. Rosette is about 3/4 inches in Diameter These picture hanging nails were used to hang pictures during The Victorian era. The fancy head of the nail was not hidden behind the framed picture. But was exposed above the picture. The picture was hung below the nail by ribbon or decorative cord like macramé. The head unscrews from the nail. After the nail is driven in the wall the head screws back onto the nail. This is a very nice effect for hanging old family photos.
