FIRE ENGINE BELL Restored Authentic Seagrave U109 Chrome 1930's Truck Bell
Please note my excellent feedback and SATISFACTION GUARANTEE* Here is a beautiful antique. A Seagrave U109 fire engine bell that probably dates from either the 1930s or 1940s. It is 11-3/4" diameter at the skirt, 7" diameter at the shoulder, 8 inches from shoulder to skirt, 12" from the top of the finial to the skirt, and the clapper hangs out 2" from the bottom. The mounting arm bracket sticks out an additional 1-1/4" from the skirt. It weighs 36 lbs. It has"U109" stamped in the casting under the collar, and I am guessing the age from it's original condition and some online research. When I obtained it. It had brass showing through the chrome a bit, and a few scratches. I had a chrome shop remove the remaining chrome electrically, refinish it, copper plate it, polish it, nickel plate it, and finally ... morechrome plate it-a traditional triple plate finish. I put a coat of primer on the cast iron mounting arm, and four coats of enamel red paint; you can apply a finish coat of any color you wish, if desired. This bell is likely in better condition than the day it left Seagrave. It is ready to return to service. Or to be proudly displayed otherwise. Authentic Arrowheads-3 1/8" Dovetail/Restored
This nice Dovetail is restored on the tip. And a little bit on one blade edge near the tip. This point is in great condition, other than the restored portion, with great flaking and beveled edges, and nice secondary edgework. It has deep notches and a heavily ground base, and I am not sure of material due to heavy patinization, but it is from TN. This will be a great economical addition to any authentic collection.

Fully Restored Authentic Original Vintage '30s French Bomber Leather Club Chair
Whoa! Stop here and admire the enticing great looks of this dynamite vintage French club chair. Completely resurrected from the ground up. This chair offers an extreme handsome appearance mated with uber awesome comfort. If you have never experienced a true vintage French example, then you're in for an amazing treat. Different shapes and sizes, leather and cloth are available but, one thing remains, unbelievable and unmatched comfort. I will not lie, this fine chair was a wreck when it arrived, springs bulging, ratty dried up crumbly leather and so on. My buyer could however. See the forest through the trees and I'm so glad he did. This waterfall style example is not only eye catching but, is so comfortable, you'll be dozing in no time. My own in-house conservation team took this basket case on with skilled intentions to breathe ... morenew life into this poor chair. Done so well, that many a novice would think it authentically old due to its buttery soft distressed black bomber leather upholstery. Unfortunately it wasn't just that easy. Many man hours were spent on this chair to get it to where it sits today. We disposed of the original crumbly leather, removed the worn out springs and horsehair and were finally able to thoroughly check the carcass. We found loose joints, so we cleaned them of the old glue and reglued them all, we even added gusseted corner blocks to ensure a long life. My expert upholstery team then took the now rock solid and sturdy frame as their blank canvas. They constructed a new base platform, installing new webbing, 8 way hand-tied springs and new sterile horsehair before moving to the arms. The arms and back also receive new horsehair before any leather or fabric can be applied. Once the desired upholstery has arrived. The upholsterer's get to measuring and cutting their medium. Including the 5-10-25 cent coin play mechanism. All lights, and the vacuum-tube amplifier. The only modification Bob made was to update the needle cartridge to a modern standard. It plays 78rpm records, holding 24 in the tray mechanism. Included in this sale is our complete 78rpm record collection ranging from 100+ original discs from the 1950's to a set of reproduced 50's rock& roll tunes. There are two slight cosmetic flaws on this machine. One is the mirror side trim embedded in the wood veneer: one side has lifted at the back. Once in my shop. All violins go through an intensive restoration process that meticulously focuses on each individual element that plays a part in sound quality. Below is a brief description of this restoration. All cracks are glued. Clamped, and cleated using hide glue and traditional spruce cleats. The violins top plate is removed during this process and clamped with hide glue during re-assembly. Bass bars are inspected as are all blockings and linings. Any open seams on the violin are glued with traditional hide glue and clamped. In addition any seams that appear weak are clamped and glued as a preventative repair. Violin finish. The original shellac is never removed from my violins. The time earned wear found on these violins adds to their value and beauty. The original finish is oiled and waxed in a series of stages bringing back the luster and health of the original shellac. 500 year old MEDIEVAL pocket knife - Restored to be fully functional - AUTHENTIC
This medieval folding pocket knife was found near Rabeneck Castle- Franconian Switzerland with a metal detector. The rust was cleaned from the knife and the finish was preserved so that it looks good and will not rust further. It was also restored to working condition. All metal parts are original. The blade moves fully. Like original, and there is even some snap to the blade. There is what the Europeans call a'maker's mark' in the form of a cross on the blade. It is 8 3/16 inchs in length when opened. The handles are wood and have been replaced. I obtained this knife from a European friend who belongs to a treasure hunting club. He and his club members provided information about its origin and age: Circa 1550) The knife has the shape of a modern day hawkbill knife and may be of interest to collectors of those.
