Vintage South Bend Bass Oreno Fishing Lure Underwater Minnow Item is a vintage collectible South Bend Bass Oreno fishing lure. This lure is the underwater minnow. I believe it to be part of the 900 Series. Lure is about 5 1/4 inches long total. Body is off white with red head. Nose is pointed. Glass Eyes have a shiny gold look to them. Then the white iris, then black pupil. There are 5 treble hooks, all in good condition, no rust. There are two propellers, in good condition. Both are engraved: South Bend. The white body has a some crack markings and some white spots on the top of the body. The paint is missing on the plug on the bottom of the lure and there is small spot near the plug with a chip of paint. I would say the overall condition of this lure is very good. Lot of fishing lures sinkers swivels hooks leaders rod eyes/guides
Here is a lot of fishing lures. Rod eyes/guides, sinkers, hooks, swivels, three way swivels, leaders, and other things. The lures are all soft plastic fishing lures. The red grub is probably ruined. It has a cut in the bottom of it, and the back part of the tail has been broke off. The jig head is probably good, it has some paint chipped off of it, and the hook is a little rusted and dirty. Use the picture to see. The two twintail lures may have had a hook in them, I am not sure. There are 2 minnow imitation lures. They are both roughly 3 1/2 inches long. The hook in the tan colored one is rusty. The darker colored one that doesn't have a hook says riptide on the side of it. There are 5 random rod guides/eyes. They are random brands. One of them says ALLAN on the side. That is the only one I saw that was marked. There are a few leaders ... morein this lot. They are dirty and might have some rust on them. There is one that is extremely dirty. The ones in the package have had something spilt on them and some other things like that. There are some sinkers in this lot also. Some are in rough shape, and some are in better shape. All of them are dirty and have been used. The two to the far right in the picture are in very bad shape. One is very beat up and dented. The other one is the one that has the metal insert in it to hold it to your line. Some people call them bell sinkers. The metal piece is very loose, and has something sticky over the hole. Use the picture to judge condition farther. The biggest one that you can see right under the brown minnow has what I believe is a 6 on it. The three way swivels in this lot are small. Use the picture to see. The other snap swivels are bigger. There is about 19 of them. Most of them are roughly 2 inches long, however, there are some that are different sizes. They will all be connected in a chain when I ship them. Some of them are dirty and may have some water spots on them. They look to be pretty old, but I am not for sure how old they are. Newey's Hooks Eyes England Queen Mother Warrant Sz1 Ex
This is a British sewing notion- a package of Newey's brand Hooks and Eyes. Size 1; inventory# Art. S48. It has a matte surface with no glossy covering. The package carries the warrant of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother who held the title of Queen Mother from 1952 until 2002 when she died(she was the widow of George Vl who died in 1952) Judging from the style of the package, I would say it is circa 1950s. Three and a half sets of hooks-and-eyes are missing. The package measures 4 5/8 by 2 inches. It is in excellent condition- no tears, stains, markings, or odors. There is slight yellowing on the back of the all-white card. Four letters in the word"Appointment" are slightly lighter than the other black letters. The top right and bottom left card's corners have a tiny loss of red with one corner bent upward. Pflueger Neverfail Minnow 1912 - Ohio - 3 Orig. Hooks - Glass Eyes - Used Cond.
This auction is for a used. Vintage 3 inch wooden Pflueger Neverfail Minnow fishing lure. The color is white with dark green on the head and a green argyle type scale pattern over the back. Down each side are three black dots surrounded by red circles. It has glass eyes and a spinner on each end, all in super condition. It has all of the original three treble hooks in great condition, the front two being specially made to not chip the lure. These lures were made in Ohio in 1912. Cosmetically the lure shows some cracking to the paint and a couple of small chips on the nose. You can see the condition of the item in the photos but they magnify the cracking. These lures are not easy to find anymore, especially in this color pattern. The lure is a part of my personal fishing tackle collection. Vintage Water Scout Wooden Lure in Box No 422 Glass Eyes 2 Treble Hooks
We are selling a vintage Water Scout. Wooden lure. I am not a fisherman or collector so I can't say for sure that this is in the original box. The box is old and is marked 422 on the box end. The lure inside is about 2 1/4 inches long and has two, treble hooks and a rudder along the bottom center. with a metal spoon under the front of the lure. The lure has glass eyes and yellow and brown spotted body with green stripes. Condition is very good. There is some minor corrosion on the hooks but they remain sharp. There is very little in the way of wear or hook marks on the body of the lure. Shipping costs via first class mail are $2.50.
