They were in a box ... morealong with much more cast iron window hardware. The box came out of a Brownstone building in Boston Ma. All the items are antique or vintage. But I'm not an expert, so please look at the pics and decide for yourself. The rods are mostly black with some brassy tones showing through. The overall length of the rods are approximately 15.75" when collapsed. 23" overall when expanded. The rod part is 12" when closed and up to 19" or so inches when extended. These rods are a bit tough to extend or contract. But they still work. I lightly sprayed the mating parts with wd40 to get them moving, so there may be a slight residue to wipe off, but I did a pretty good job of freeing them up and wiping off extra wd40. These are sold in as found condition, so they have imperfections and paint loss here and there, but are in overall good shape. Please see pics. Please ask any questions before bidding. Thank you! Selling a Rustica Drapery Rod Set with Twist Finials. That includes two(2) ~4-foot long adjustable steel curtain rods. With contemporary swirled finials that twist onto each end. They look a bit like globes on each end, and they complement all sorts of modern decors. It also comes with 2 mounting brackets for each rod. And even some screws. Each rod is 5/8" in diameter. The length of each rod is adjustable. So it can be as long as 52" or as short as 28" depending on what kind of windows you have in your living room, bedroom, kitchen, dining room, etc. The color is a brown/metallic shade like copper, which goes well with almost anything. Vintage Antique Gothic Curtain Rod Set Brackets Finials 2 Rods
Here we have a set of 2 vintage curtain rods that are complete with brackets and finials for the ends. The pieces are black cast metal and painted in greens. Red and gold. They have a great gothic look. No makers mark, just some numbers impressed on the backs. Each rod measures app. 46" long without the finials attached. They can easily be trimmed down to a smaller length. Please see my photos for more on condition. We ask that you read the description.
