LOT OF 9 ANTIQUE, VICTORIAN ORNATE CAST IRON SWING ARM CURTAIN RODS
Up for bid is a lot of 9 original. Antique, Victorian era, ornate cast iron swing arm curtain rods. When closed they are 17 3/4" they can extend up to about 26 inches. The fancy parts are cast iron the sliding part is metal. They have most of the hooks on them but not mounting brackets. All are in very good condition. Shipping will be $17

Antique, Swing Arm Curtain Rods, With Brackets
I have for sale a beautiful set of Victorian. Swing Arm Curtain rods, antique as far as I can tell) complete with brackets. I've included a photo of a an example of some rods(examples, not necessarily these rods) in use in my Victorian home where they used to hang. They can swing out to facilitate opening windows, cleaning windows, or letting in more light. I found them beautiful as well as functional. I have several sets for sale now as I have relocated. The rods are complete with the necessary brackets. These are lighter weight then the others I have and I m not sure what they are made from. They do have a little rust, and you may want to paint them. I had them in a shabby chic room and preferred them unpainted. They fit on either side of a window and swing open or shut. They extend from 16 3/4" to 23" on either side. They ... morestick out 4" from the wall. In theory. They should cover a window 46" wide; however, as you extend them, they become weaker and tend to sag(I am being honest here because I found this out the hard way) I had them installed one set to each single, double hung window. I slid the curtains on to the rods. Some people use rings to attach to rods and you can purchase rings to fit if you like that look. Brackets included. The brackets are hard to find and essential. I will try to get the other sets posted today or feel free to contact me to see other sets. These rods are hard to find this complete and very expensive in antique shops when you can find them. I think the lucky winner will be very happy with their purchase. Please look closely and ask questions as there are no returns. I've done my best to describe accurately. We had a very hard time capturing the correct color of the old metal surface, so it will be off in shade from the pictures, as compared to actual. For sale a fantastic and complete set of six antique curtain rods and brackets. Will be enough for a room with three windows. These extend to fit just about any window that is normal sized. These have a great original paint job with a great wear and patina I would put these up just like so. These would be great for a victorian house restoration job. But I've seen similar rods hung as towel racks in bathrooms, magazine racks(one magazine one each) to hang children's artwork, and more. Get creative! Not extended. Each arm measures almost 14 inches. It seems they we're painted from golden to white. So they have a great shabby chic, antiqued look to them. 4 Antique or vintage Cast Iron Extending Swing Arm Curtain Rods Hangers Brackets
Up for sale are 4 cast iron swing arm style curtain rods with mounting brackets. They are extendable. I'm not certain of the age. They were in a box along with much more cast iron window hardware. The box came out of a Brownstone building in Boston Ma. All the items are antique or vintage. But I'm not an expert, so please look at the pics and decide for yourself. The rods are mostly black with some brassy tones showing through. The overall length of the rods are approximately 15.75" when collapsed. 23" overall when expanded. The rod part is 12" when closed and up to 19" or so inches when extended. These rods are a bit tough to extend or contract. But they still work. I lightly sprayed the mating parts with wd40 to get them moving, so there may be a slight residue to wipe off, but I did a pretty good job of freeing ... morethem up and wiping off extra wd40. These are sold in as found condition, so they have imperfections and paint loss here and there, but are in overall good shape. Please see pics. Please ask any questions before bidding. Thank you! Antique Art Deco Swing Arm Curtain Rods & Wall Brackets (no rings included)
Please note the brass rings pictured have already been sold. They are not included in this auction. Two vintage Art Deco curtain rods. The arms are painted steel and the leaf shaped finial is made out of cast aluminum or pot metal. They each measure 17.5" long; usable curtain area on the rods are 13" to 22" when extended. There is overall paint loss from normal use. Wall brackets are included but the rings are not. You do not have to have rings to use these curtain rods. The curtains just need to have a rod pocket.

Fantastic lot of FIVE sets of antique. Art deco styled swing arm curtain rods. There are two different patterns- two pairs of those with the multi-coloured maple leaf ends, and three pairs of those with the stylized metallic-coloured leaf ends. The maple leaf pairs when closed, measure approx. 14" long, and when fully extended, approx. 21" wide. The stylized leaf sets when closed, measure approx. 17" wide, and approx. 26" when fully extended. Some light wear to finishes, but no significant damages. All sets slide appropriately, have matching left/right panel sets. The stylized leaf sets have boxed rods and the channels are on the TOP- this means that they can be used for all right, or all left panel hangings, as needed. Pr. of antique swing arm curtain rods, extendable, cast iron and metal
This pair of old curtain rods have a wonderful south pacific flare with the cast iron adornment of hand painted green leaves and burgundy berries. Each rod has 6 metal rings to attach the curtain and will swing away from the window when mounted. They extend out to approx. 25" from tip of finial to back of rod. The cast iron decoration is approx. 11 1/4" long and 3 3/4" tall at back of rod. Included are four extra pieces which were with the set of curtain rods when I purchased them from an estate sale. I found no visible markings to identify the manufacturer. These curtain rods are in the same antique condition as when I purchased them. The paint is old and rubbed off in many places.
