I have available a gorgeous antique table done in the Louis XV style with an incredible burled wood veneer surface and ornately carved Queen Ann legs and trim. Table comes with two skirted leaf inserts. Inserts still match perfectly. No difference in tone or richness. No sway of any kind in table. Table is in remarkable condition. Minor wear on surface with some dryness of veneer. One small spot where wear is a more advanced(see pic 9) Carved trim around edge is cracked in several places. This is Antique Cabinet Maker Salesman Sample Primitive Wood Gate Leg Drop Leaf Farm Table. This salesman's sample is from a local cabinet maker from decades ago. Industrial Machine Age Cast Iron Leg Table Hard Wood Top Vintage Description: The table top is a hardwood with a clear finish. It is smooth to the touch there are wear marks under the finish it is a very old top but hard and solid. The top measures 27 1/2" wide and 17 3/4" deep and about 3/4" thick. It will come with the original flat head screws in an envelope. The legs are cast iron and heavy. They measure 27" tall and 16" wide at the bottom. The top area that the wood sits on is 12 5/8" wide for each leg. The legs have iron wheels and they do roll. The metal has paint chips and scratches nothing distracting you may choose to touch them up. The table will ship taken apart all you will need is a flat head screwdriver to assemble the table. I am selling the table for a client who brought it to Georgia from New Orleans. In her attempts to get information she was told that the inlay is ebony. And the pedestal rose wood. Antique Chinese Brass 2-Tier Table-6 Leg Folding Wood Stand
This auction is for a beautiful little side table made in China. Early 20th century. It has two tiers with brass trays, the top is 16 inches across and has an ornate engraved design with two figures in a walled garden. The bottom tray is smaller at 12 inches across, and has an engraved floral motif. Both trays sit on a collapsible six-legged folding wood stand with a black finish. It stands approx. 22 inches tall. The bottom tray has some water staining or fogging. And it needs a more energetic polish than I was able to give it. The top tray is in very good condition, with minor dings and spots. The trays are a very heavy solid brass, and have hand painted marks on the backs. The stand is very loose, but intact, and needs a tightening.
