This is an unusual carved mahogany dining table dating from the 1930s-40s. It has a block foot base. With a carved cabriole leg, router ... moreand relief carving on the sides(one done with a Dremel or pin tool, and one done with a router) and acanthus carving across the outside of the legs, and a double curved leg all the way down. The top appears to have been put together with a marvelous wood selection that matches perfectly. It has a routed edge, a molded skirt, an easy to open and close slider system with a double center leg, but unfortunately does not come with leaves. This is a beautiful antique French or Italian Chinoiserie painted tea of coffee table. The base coat is a lovely teal with handpainted details in black and gold. The top surface is a wonderful piece of black marble with veining in grays. White and terracotta. There are minor scuffs to the painted surface due to age. Unusual Collectable Antique Folding Table or Plant Stand
This Unique Folding table is highly distressed and relic due to its age. I believe it is made of oak. The oval table top measures about 16" in the long dimension and the height of the table is about 30" high. This item could make a great restoration project or leave it as is. It is so unusual it looks great in any setting. We have owned this a long time and are listing it here on eBay because we finally found a suitable box for safe shipping. The table is missing a bracket so I had to make the thin plywood support so it would stand. Creating a new wood slide-lock to support the table should be easy. unusual antique nicely carved walnut center table concave pedestal three legs
for auction is just about the sweetest walnut center table to be found i think anywhere. it has a great concave pedestal that is carved in the finest of fashions with three protruding legs emerging from the pedestal that end with three very neat and unusual claw feet. it has ribbons. Ropes, leaves, etc. deeply carved into the pedestal and legs. just a fabulous table. i have always been amazed by it. hopefully the pictures will describe it to your satisfaction, if not please ask question or request more pictures. i will get right back to you. it is 36 inches in diameter and 29.5 inches tall. the feet are just amazing. at any rate, i paid a bundle for it years ago and am trying to get my money back. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at buyer's expense. good luck.

I have up for auction a unusual antique 21" wide and 55" long wooden ironing board never seen one this wide.It does have one of the legs repaired back some years ago as you can see in the one picture that it has a extra piece of wood on the legs side. It has 3 setting for height when opened. This would make a great sewing room table! The size makes it work for a lot of uses and has a very rustic look. Antique Vintage Very Unusual Candle Stand Table Adjustable Height Electric Light
Here is a very unusual candle table. I have searched online. But have not been able to find anything similar to this table. This is a lovely and fairly petite table. While it stands approximately 30" tall(to the top of the table, not including the candles) the oval top piece measures about 10 1/2" long, by just under 6" wide. A couple of very unusual features with this table: There are two electric candles that are permanently mounted into the table top. They stand about 9" tall to the top of the flame tip bulb and both have what looks like a brass collar around the bottom. Each has a small porcelain socket that holds a narrow base flame tip bulb(I have shown lit with a couple of bulbs I had(not included) Each is then surrounded with a very fragile white glass tube like shade. Both of these shades have damage to them, ... moreand one is marked Made in Czechoslovakia. The table contains the original cloth covered electrical cord and an on/off switch. There is wear to the cord where it hangs off the back of the table, but I have plugged it in and both lights are working fine. The second really unusual thing about this candle stand is that it extends upward- there are actually two pieces to the table and the inside piece'pulls up' and can be adjusted. There is a small brass fitting on the bottom piece that I believe would be used for adjusting. However, the pin that would hold the top piece in place is missing. The table top can be adjusted from about 30" all the way up to about 42" I am not certain as to the age of this table because I can find nothing comparable.
