Antique cast iron industrial pedestal embossed with"THE NEW BRITAIN MACHINE CO. NEW BRITAIN CONN. USA" on the base top. Has 3 mounting holes to attach to the floor. Overall height is 24" and the base is 12-1/4" in diameter. Comes in two pieces. The base itself is just under 10" tall. The upper shaft piece seats almost 3 inches into it and has a drilled hole that lines up with the one in the base to allow you to bolt the base& shaft together as one piece. I dont know what this was originally used for but it would make a great base for a table. Stool, or many other things that need a sturdy base. This is an early Vintage cast iron adjustable 3 leg base in as found aged finish condition. The width is adjustable with a screw/nut/slide design. Vintage Cast Iron Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Base Leg Antique Table
A pair of Singer Treadle Sewing Machine cast iron legs. They are about 28 inches tall. 12 inches wide at the top and about 19 inches wide at the bottom. They have been dusted and rinsed off but not thoroughly cleaned. I'll leave it to the new owner's discretion to determine how much'character' to leave. All wheels turn freely. NO cracks, breaks, nor any problems that I can see other than one original axle pin is gone and that has been replaced by a stove bolt. Please see photo. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.

Set of 4 Victorian Cast Iron Table Legs/Vtg Sculpted Horse Leg/15" Tall/Original
Set of four Victorian cast iron legs. Sculpted in the shape of horse legs. Lovely antique set of table legs measuring approximately 15" tall. Each weighs over 3 lbs and has four notches on top to screw legs onto a table. Bench, ottoman, chair or any number of wonderful creations you can make with these legs. Took many of the photographs with the legs upside down, hopefully to show them off better. Much of the off white paint is missing and there is newsprint stuck to the upper flat side of legs. Where paint is missing it looks as though there may be slight surface rust. But running my hand over one leg, it did not get dirty with rust, so it may just be the metal's natural patina. Please use the Supersize Feature on our pictures at the top and below the description as we consider them to be a very important part of our auctions- our photos show great detail and they are about the next best thing to"being there" Here is gorgeous antique cast iron table base or stand– it has a really great cross between Art Deco and Machine Age Industrial Steampunk designs. It also has some really fantastic old green paint on it. One side is marked MEDINA NY and the other side is marked BIGNALL CO. This stand or base stands 19 ¾” tall at the top rim and measures 8” across the bottom of the base. The circular top measures 13” across at the outside edges and 12 ½” across at the inside rim or shelf. One side of that inside shelf is marked 12 1/2. Each side has a graceful arched arm for supporting the top piece. The arches ... moreor support arms have a series of circular cutouts in graduated sizes. There is a small square nut sort of quick soldered or tacked in one of the smaller circles– it looks like it will pop right out with a bit of force and a screwdriver. But I left it there. The original owner must have modified it for some reason to suit his needs. It does not have anything to do with the structural integrity of the piece. The center post is attached to the stacked domed base. The top circular rim is attached with screws, nuts, and bolts- I took pictures of how the it is attached from underneath. There is no damage to this piece– no breaks. Cracks, or repairs. There is flaking and missing old green paint here and there with the original black paint showing through. The underside of the base has some rusting, but there are no areas of pitting or weakness in the metal. I gave this piece a quick wipe down with some warm water and a sponge and dried it completely– nothing else. This base will be a work of art– well, it already is. Up for consideration is a salvaged item. This is a 4 leg cast iron base. Not real sure what it was removed from. It has a nice patina on top but rusty on the underneath side. It appears to be old because it is pitted. Measurements are 17 inches across and stands 3 3/4 inches tall.

This a nice pair of vintage cast iron furniture legs purchased about 10-12 years ago from a salvage yard in the Berkeley/Oakland area in CA. The story is that they were a matched pair with marble tops. But the marble was gone when these were purchased. They are in very good condition, and would make a nice set of legs for new marble tops. Age and manufacturer are not available, as there are no cast-in markings. The table legs are 28-1/2" high. Each leg is 15" wide at the top and bottom. The legs are 27-1/2" apart. And are separated by a middle trussed spacer, which have two threaded studs on each end. The legs are held together by two nuts on each side, which hold the middle trussed spacer. These legs can be used to make either one large table, or two smaller matching tables. One stud broke off. The pole measures 22" long. The base has an approx 1/2" hole for a threaded screw. The pole has an approx 3/8" opening on both ends, one to affix the base, one to affix a table top to. Measurements are 27 1/2 inches tall. At the feet they measure 16 3/4 inches from side to side and front to back. The diagonall measurement across the bottom is 23 inches. The color on top is black. On the bottom, underneath is gold color.

4 Large Antique Glass Ball & Cast Iron Claw Feet Eagle Talon Furniture Table Leg
Set of 4 ORIGINAL Cast Iron and Glass Ball& Claw Feet in AWESOME condition. Just the slightest amount of wear on the bottom of the glass balls where they were sllid along a floor for 100 years or so. The wear spots are IMPOSSIBLE to see when they are standing as they should on a table or other piece of furniture. Pix do not do them justice as it is nearly impossible to capture the bubbles. Streaks& swirls within the glass. One ball has a green streak inside that is incredible to look at. Iron"claw" feet are Eagle's Talons and appear to have once been gilded but they now have a nice mellow raw cast iron patina. Each weighs almost 2-1/2 pounds! These are NOT REPRODUCTIONS and are getting increasingly harder to find especially in this condition. Glass ball is approx 3" diameter(about the size of a baseball) individual ... morefingers are approx 3" long and the mount is 2-1/2" long with a 1-3/8" opening that tapers to approx 3/4" at the bottom. These need to be used on something that will give them the attention they deserve. I bought them because I just couldnt pass them up but, try as I might, I just dont have anything worthy of installing them on. I have some killer pieces of Arts& Crafts furniture which unfortunately doesn't look good with Victorian Gothic Ball& Claw Feet. ALL MY ITEMS COME FROM A SMOKE-FREE HOME! 4 old vintage glass ball & cast iron claw feet eagle talon furniture table leg
Up for auction are 4 old glass ball and eagle talon feet for antique furniture such as small parlor tables. Piano stools etc. The inside diameter at the top of the feet measures 3/4 inch and all 4 legs are in very good condition with slight traces of the original bronze paint and no huge flakes or flat spots on the glass balls.

Adjustable Heywood Eclipse cast iron/stamped steel base pedestal table chair leg
This pedestal has a cast iron base. And a stamped steel top. It adjusts from 10- 1/2" to 16- 1/2" in height. It is 8- 7/8" across the bottom and the top is about 7" square. Some of the original black finish remains, but there is also some rust. It is marked"Heywood" on one side and"Eclipse" on the other. Also, there is a"3" There are 5 counter sunk holes around the perimeter of the base and 4 in the top. It has no breaks or repairs, but it also does not sit flat(see further description) The height is adjusted by loosening the 7/8" hex head bolt on the upper part of the cast iron base. Moving the top piece, and then re-tightening the bolt. This pedestal was designed to be screwed to the floor. When it is screwed fast. The screws prevent it from wobbling. It is smooth to the touch there are wear marks under the finish it is a very old top but hard and solid. The top measures 27 1/2" wide and 17 3/4" deep and about 3/4" thick. It will come with the original flat head screws in an envelope. The legs are cast iron and heavy. They measure 27" tall and 16" wide at the bottom. The top area that the wood sits on is 12 5/8" wide for each leg. The legs have iron wheels and they do roll. Antique Hand Crank Sheep Shear Cast Iron Table Leg Base Shearing Clipper Machine
This is an old hand crank cast iron base shearing machine. Patented-Made by Chicago Flexible Shaft. Machine is 44" tall. 20" x 22" at feet. Wheel is 18" diameter with 1 1/8" thick. All the gears are intact, but the wheel needs oiling. The set screws that hold the wheel on and other screws are free. The machine itself is not broken. The clippers are there, but the guy I purchased it from let it sit outside and they have rust. With a little effort and cleaning, this would make a nice piece to put on a display.
