Mid Century vintage Orb lamp spider leg adjustable eyeball light
I have other mid Century modern items listed seperately. This is the HARD to find Mid Century spider leg lamp that will look awesome in any vintage home these are very sought after by designers and collectors. This has an adjustable shaft for height then the orb at top will move around as well. This will go anwhere from 33 to 61 inches tall. EXCEPTIONAL SOLID CROTCHED MAHOGANY SHERATON PERIOD TILT TOP SPIDER LEG TABLE With our compliments we are exceptionally delighted to offer you this completely unique and very interesting solid highly figured crotched mahogany acanthus carved spider leg Sheraton period tilt top table. We would like make the point known that we have never quite seen a piece like this before. It comes from a North Carolina estate that was brought back East to liquidate. We are not a liberty to disclose anymore than that as to its provenance. Our company brings four highly experienced dealers to the table. We are all torn as to the origin of this piece from Portsmouth. NH, Boston, NYC and Virginia. We are certain of the fact that its an outstanding quality piece in great condition with no damages or repairs. Please note that we took these pictures coming off ... morethe truck. It was 6 degrees that day and the waxes on mahogany pieces cloud up in the cold. We noted a whitish mark on the top of this piece in the pictures that is not truly there and caused by the waxes reaction to the severe cold. We wanted to get the load back into a stable heated environment as fast as possible. The molded edge top on this table is made from a huge robust piece of old growth solid crotched mahogany plank(probably Cuban) with the best figuring. A plank of that quality was worth more than gold to furniture makers in the Colonial Colonies during this period. It's pedestal employs superb ring or spool turnings and acanthus carving. Each of its three spider legs are gracefully formed, molded and employs continued acanthus carving. At this size this piece classifies as a tea table or small breakfast table. We are putting a real number on this piece not based on what it could be as opposed to our substantial investment in it. We only buy quality and truly work harder than anyone to bring the very best, pure and most interesting pieces to this sales platform. This table has a 28" long top that is 25" wide. And nice fine spider leg base. 100% original condition The finish is a very early lacquer finish. We believe that it's most likely the original finish. This is a very fine table. Martin King Stove Vintage #7 Cast Iron Bean Pot 3 Leg Spider Kettle Cauldron OLD
This is a 3 legged cast iron kettle made by Martin Stove& Range or King Stove& Range in Sheffield or Florence Alabama. Martin bought out King in 1917 and made unmarked cast iron known as the Perfection line of cookware. King made many unmarked castings from 1905– 1917. This kettle is only marked on the bottom with a 7. It has been cleaned& seasoned. This kettle measures 9 5/16 inches round. Has 3 legs, is 6 ¾ inches tall. It still has the original bail handle and sits flat on the 3 legs. It also has a rim around the bottom so could be used on the old iron stoves. It does have a slick finish on the outside& bottom and some minor pitting on the inside that seasoned nicely. If you have any questions please ask. Antique Vintage 3 Leg Cast Iron Medium Size Spider Skillet Hearth Campfire
Here is an antique 3 leg spider skillet for the fireplace hearth or campfire. This is very nice. It has a long handle, the bottom of the pan is nice and even, the legs are uniform in height, and the size is great, measuring 9" in diameter with a cooking depth of 2 1/4" I believe this was sand-cast based on texture of the back, which indicates it's a very early one, likely dating to the late 1700s or early 1800s. Counting the legs this skillet is 3 3/4" tall.

ANTIQUE TEN INCH CAST IRON THREE-LEG SPIDER SKILLET This is an old circa 1850-1880 10" inch size cast iron skillet. Often referred to as a Spider and used directly over the coals. This old piece of cast iron was found in Powhatan County, Virginia. It is clean and ready for continued use. It features a gatemark on the bottom. And the 6-3/4" long handle is marked 10 IN and the initials of the iron foundry CTP. It has an interior depth of 2-3/4" The three1-7/8" long legs are evenly worn so it sits level and steady on any flat surface. This skillet is in good condition with only minimal pitting.
