A lovely round Federal style table with a pie-crust top(scalloped on the inner and outer edge of the table top) Mahogany or Rosewood is in wonderful condition. Not sure which wood it is made from. But based on the weight I believe it is mahogany. If it were rosewood it would be even heavier. This one was part of the estate sale from a family that was cleaning out their 3rd generation 103 year old farmhouse. No idea who the actual maker is; is this a Duncan Phyfe original? I don't know; I understand that only a very few original Phyfe pieces(out of the many made) were actually marked. If anyone looking can give me more clues as to whether this piece IS an original Phyfe please do so and I will re-list with an appropriately higher price: Just kidding. Even if it wasn't made by Mr. Phyfe it is still a very old and beautiful solid wood ... moretable. If you can even find a table made from all solid real wood in the stores nowadays you will definitely be looking at a few hundred dollars, minimum. Look closely at the pictures. And note the metal pieces on the underside(pictures#6& 7) that were used in attaching the tripod legs to the spindle. Also take a peek at the screw heads on the underside of the table top(picture#5) this is a pretty good indicator of the age on this piece. The top can be removed from the base by unscrewing in a counterclockwise direction. The base is a tripod(three legs) The foot of each leg has a vintage brass claw cap. Sets of 3 of the new(not vintage) brass claw caps(without legs or a table! were selling on Ebay by another seller for $39.00. At some point in more recent history, someone placed metal taps on the bottom of each foot; it is obvious that these were a much later addition. take a look at picture#8! This is a beautiful. Heavy, well-made old table in great condition. There are the normal signs of wear that one would expect to see on an older table including a couple of scuff marks on the base of the legs near the feet and a couple of light use marks on the top. This table measures about 30 1/2 inches in height, with the lower tier having an approximate diameter of about 20 inches and the upper tier having an approximate diameter of about 14 inches. The center support is a graduated turned spiral. There are three thin vertical cracks to wood in the upper part of the center support, however the support is intact. Upper tier moves slightly, screws may need tightened. Three small dull spots to finish on upper tier. Shallow scattered dings and streaks. Lighter color band border. The table has aside from the pedestal, fold up leg on each end, for when leafs are inserted, pictures have both leafs inserted for best visual of the table. Being from the 1940s this table has survived 2 generations, and being Baker quality is still sturdy and beautiful, but does have some blemishes on the top of the table. Underneath and pedestal, all great. The top has some scratches, ... morescuffs, nicks from age and use, and not to be left out, I put a hot plate on the table and you will see a 2" in diameter, spot from that, it did not go through and crack or anything, just made the black mark, sorry. If it bothers you the way the top is, you can do what I did, and put lace partial tablecloth and place mats on the flawed areas, or, if you are handy can refinish the top, though all does not need it. I have pictured the flaws on top. The table measures with leafs 29.25" high, 45" width and 94" long. Seats 8 comfortably with leaves inserted. This is a Vintage Wood ROUND TOP TABLE. The table top tilts and rotates. The top is about 33 1/4 inches in diameter. Overall height of the table with the top level is about 28 1/2 inches. It has a three leg pedestal base with birdcage on top. The top was refinished at some point in the past. It has wear and scratches and can use a refinishing again. This may be a good time to refresh the whole table. The hinge that releases and retains the top functions properly. I do not know anything about its provenance or history as far as who constructed it. It came from the estate of an older English couple. I am told that they owned it for over 60 years. Antique Pedestal Plant Stand*Smokers Table* by Jamestown Fancy Furniture Co.
Up for bid is this beautiful pedestal table made by Jamestown Fancy Furniture back in the early 1900's. From the information I could find on that company they specialized in smaller furniture pieces including smokers stands. Plant stands, magazine stands, etc. The table measurements are approximately 23 1/2" tall and the top 11 1/2" in diameter and the base 10 1/2" in diameter. I am not positive of the type of wood used but the grain is very pretty. There seems there might be two different woods used for the top/bottom and the pedestal. I'm not an expert but the grains to me look of two different types? I am not sure if the table top or bottom base is solid of that type of wood or if it is wood veneered with that over another type of wood. It seems to be veneered on the bottom sides of the table top and table bottom ... moreas there are two places on the bottom side of the table top where the top layer of an over layer(veneering) has come off at sometime in the past. This is underneath and not noticeable on the top side of the table! I also noted that there is a small area of that veneered bottom layer that appears to be a bit wavy, ever slightly and there are a couple of dabs of something that I had originally thought to be old finish drips. please see pics) There are two spots at the top of the table which I believe are the nail holes for attaching the top to the pedestal. The bottom is attached by a wing nut. see pics) I put Jacobean as the style, I do hope that would be the correct choice on my part! Whatever the case it's a very nice piece. Please look pics over as they are part of the description. Please note: I am not a professional furniture refinisher/restorer and that this pedestal table is an antique and I am also not an antique expert. This piece does show nicks. Dents, scratches and wear consistent with age, use and the fact of it's unknown history. What I have done to this table to clean it up is I have removed years of build up with"Formby's Furniture Restorer"

This Steam Punk Brutalist rectangle is very cool and can be used upright as a pedestal. Stand or on its side for a cool low coffee table. It was found in an old barn and had been there quite a while. The welding is superior quality and all the corners are very clean. This is hallow with about 2" wide metal used throughout. The piece is approximately 32" long 17" high and 20" deep. I believe it to be steel and it is sturdy and has weight to it. This can take abuse if you want to use it for a work station. The piece has several holes drilled through on both sides and had screws going through it when I found it. This is a great size for a coffee table and in this configuration the top side will have no holes drilled into it and if you want it as a pedestal one top side also is hole free. for auction is just about the sweetest walnut center table to be found i think anywhere. it has a great concave pedestal that is carved in the finest of fashions with three protruding legs emerging from the pedestal that end with three very neat and unusual claw feet. it has ribbons. Stunning Mid-Century Ferguson Bros. of Hoboken NJ tripod side table. Original Company foil label on underside(worn. But readable- see pic) The Ferguson Bros. Mfg. Co. was a family owned furniture manufacturer which began in the late 19th century. Incorporated in 1903 and maintained operations until 1953. They were makers of various occasional tables. This piece has a beautifully carved pedestal and lovely framed round top. The wood is rich in color. The flaws that I have discovered are one minor chip in the frame and some minor scratching on the table top(see pics) The table measures 28" high and 21 3/4" in diameter. Simple yet eye catching. Beautiful antique Victorian brass& marble table. Pedestal/ plant stand. Coloration and pattern of the antique marble is gorgeous. Both pieces are free of any cracks or chips, which is unusual for marble this old. The brass is a beautiful buttery gold color and has a lovely shine to it. The lacy designs on the bases that hold the marble pieces are gorgeous accents to offset the marble. The legs are curvy and end with ornate decorative bases for the feet. One of the small decorative pieces is missing where the center marble base attaches to the leg, see last pic) This is not at all noticeable when against a wall. You could easily have a replacement piece made by a company in Georgia that I deal with, should you be interested. Beautiful Vintage English Brass Top Round Pedestal Table with Mahogany Wood Base Offered here is a beautiful vintage table with a round brass table top. It sits on a solid wood pedestal and base. I think that this table may be a marriage of a few different pieces. It appears that the pedestal is made of a brown colored wood and the base looks to be made of a more red colored mahogany. The pedestal may be walnut. The piece is very well done and displays well. The table top has a diameter of 17 3/4 inches. The table stands 24 inches tall and the base measures 16 inches by 16 inches. It is in excellent condition. I've tried to take a number of pictures so that you can judge for yourself it's quality and value. Gorgeous and highly collectable antique 54" Round Tiger Oak Wood Dining Room Table, manufactured by the Hastings Furniture Co. in Michigan Circa 1905. With the five matching leaves installed, the table extends to 99 inches! The piece is solid as a rock, with the extension controlled by the patented locking mechanism known as the Tyden Table Lock. This is a cute little mid century side table. It stands 17.25" tall. The top is 14.25" x 14.25" The round base is 11" in diameter. The top is a shiny faux-wood or formica with a plastic edge. The base is a matte faux-wood with a painted edge. I believe the middle pole is real wood. It is in good used vintage condition. There is some scratching and scuffing to the top. There is a little chip out of the plastic edge on the one side and plastic shows some wear overall. A nice little table!
