It is a solid oak 54 inches quarter sawn top. The table is 30 inches high and when all four leaves are inserted the table becomes 8 feet long. It is a good-looking table with a large reeded center column and a platform base that goes down into the biggest ball and claw feet I have seen in a long time. The table is in a medium oak stain. Great oak industrial folding table from a textile mill in maine. Probably used by workers on their lunch break. It retains it old antique patina and would go great with and atyle room or decor. The folding mexhinisma aee original patent 1883. There is a manufacturer's stp on the bottom from the hall brothers in Michigan. It is a sound. Sturdy table. There is a little white paint splatter on one leg, see photos. There also is a 8" section of trim missing around the top. tiger oak victorian plant stand knoxville tennessee estate find
This is a very sound small plant stand from the victorian era. It stands less than 2 feet tall. And is 12 inches square. It is old, as the company was started at the turn of the last century. It says it was made in Knoxville Tennessee on the part of the sticker that is left on the bottom. As I do not know how to professionally refinish antiques without making them lose value, I have left it as I found it from the estate. The tiger sawn oak table has been all stripped. Glued up, sanded, stained and multiple coats of moisture resistant lacquer have been applied to produce a beautiful warm amber mellow clear coat finish that you will be able to enjoy for many years to come. The table itself is 45 inches round closed up and 29.5 inches high, when you insert the five 9 inch leaves the table opens up to be approximately 90 inches by 45 inches deep and 29.5 inches high. It is easily able to accommodate 6 to 8 diners. The table is a factory split pedestal, which means as you open and extend the table out the two pedestal base splits apart and slides out with the top to keep it tight and sturdy. Antique Oak Pedestal Table Salesman Sample or Doll Toy Victorian
This auction is for a miniature sized table that is possibly a salesman sample or apprentice piece. It is made from oak and has a nice finish to it with a center carved design. It has a nice patina to it and is just under 7" tall and about 11 3/4 inches in diameter. It's the perfect size for displaying dolls- I have a 19" Schoenhut doll pictured with the table to give you a sense of the scale. Only the little table is part of the auction. The doll will be listed in a separate auction along with many nicely scaled items. This table would look great with a little miniature tea set. I have taken several photos of it and posted the maximum amount that ebay allows. If you need more photos or have questions please feel free to ask. Antique Victorian Oak Wood Plant Stand Table Fern pron scroll work 2 Tier
Antique Victorian Dark Oak Wood with gold gilt tone when certain light hits the table legs. Nice looking Plant Stand Table with a ornate apron with scroll work. Good-Fair condition, discoloration dark marks to the top, scuffs and scratches. Varnish loss. Lower shelf has wood loss and bottom of the same erea has wood loss where the screw tightens. See pictures. Still grabs and tightens but must be careful not to cause further damage. There's Cracks from age on few of the aprons. See pictures. 3 screws have been replaced with modern day screws that hold the lower shelf on and someone has done a average sloppy glue job seen in some of the pictures. I removed the glue that holds the top on to the legs to make it easy and safe to ship, plus much cheaper to ship. May be shipped in two packages. We will decide the shipper once packed. Gorgeous Fancy Tiger Oak Parlor Side Table. Excellent condition. Solid tiger oak panels on top and bottom. Beveled wood top. Fancy carved legs down the sides with curved feet. Absolutely a show stopper. Only one small imperfection on one of the sides where there is a small wood chip. Otherwise table is in wonderful condition. Slight wobble on top but otherwise sturdy. Wood finish has a nice natural sheen. Currently lemon oiled to preserve the wood so it will be clean and ready to use by the new owners. Approximate Measurements: 30" Tall x 24" Long x 20" Wide Please review all photos as they are part of the description.
