Antique Vintage c1930s Maple 3" Butcher Block Table Chicago Salvage Metal Base
This old butcher block table from the 1930s was salvaged from a Chicago meat packer and is in great vintage condition. The top has been sanded down and coated several times with tung oil to bring back its great sheen. Tung oil is an organic oil that is safe for food. Dings. Gouges and a few splits on the top are a character adding bonus and are consistent with age and use. The metal base is sturdy and stout and I believe the legs adjust in height(I didn’t try, but it looks like they screw up or down in order to level the top. It measures 36" w x 24" w x 34 ¼”h top is 3” thick. There is a stamp on the underside of the top that is not readable, but I included a photo of it anyway. Here. We have a Beautiful Vintage Cushman Maple Child's Fold Out Leaf Table. I do not know the exact age of this cute little table but I do know your child will LOVE IT! I'm pretty sure it is made out of Maple but the company(1892-1964) started using Yellow Birch instead of Maple Wood in the 1950's. Whatever wood was used, it's adorable and just right for your antique decor. Both leafs fold out all the way and the slides under the table slide out to hold the leafs up or slide back in to let them down. Everything works perfectly and although it has a couple of nicks here and there, it seems very sturdy and useful. The hinges are recessed and nice and tight and the legs are tight as well, no wobbling. With the leafs folded out, it measures 28 1/2" long x 18" wide x 17 1/4" tall. Tacoma Wash. ~ I did some research and it appears they operated out of Tacoma Washington from about 1900 to 1950. Their furniture is considered to be pretty high quality according to various comments on antique blogs, I believe this piece was first acquired by the family in the 1940's so I am guessing that's the approximate circa but it could be older as we had many other maple pieces dating back to the turn of the century. Height from floor to top of table is about 25-1/4" Long side of oval top is about 30-1/4" Short side of oval top is about 26" With one leaf dropped the table top area is about 30-1/4" long x 21-1/2" wide With both leaves dropped the table top area is about ... more30-1/4" long x 12-1/2" wide There are minor scratches and scuffs on the tabletop and various places around the support spindles and framing. Most appears superficial and could be refinished. There is crack on the inner table top skirt in one corner. It appears cosmetic not structural and is hidden beneath the table so can't be seen. This crack does not go all the way through the skirt and appears to be a shallow surface crack or grain separation. Otherwise the skirt is rock solid with no movement or looseness as a result of this minor wood split. S ee pics with arrow pointing to issue. This is the cutiest little mid century side table! It has a yellow. With bits of gray, formica table tops. The rest of the table is wood and looks to be maple. It is flat and squared on two sides and the other sides are rounded in that wonderful 1950's style. There is a space of 9" between the bottom part of the table and the top. The bottom table measures 15 1/2" wide and is 20 5/8" long. The top level measures 13 1/4" wide and 13 1/4" long. This little table stands just 20" tall. It is in excellent condition and very stable.

Of early 1900 vintage. Industrial work table with wooden top and green painted cast iron legs, marked 17Z35. Recovered from an old factory located in Ligonier, Indiana. The heavy Rock Maple slab top is constructed using bolted angle irons. The table is in very good vintage condition with a few minor issues: One of the legs has a heavy weld showing and also has broken tab at the foot. The top has minor checking and a visible crack is present by one of the corners. However it is still held together tightly, thanks to the bolted angle iron construction technique. This is a beautiful circa 1950's folding card table with scalloped edges in the French style. It has a leather insert and I believe it is made from maple. It measures 35.5" square and 29.5" high. Unique Tiger Maple Top Arts & Crafts Trestle Table
This table is a knockout. The top is solid tiger maple-with a few imperfections. As one might expect from an old piece. It could be refinished to get rid of the ring stain and the other stain opposite, but the patina is so gorgeous I couldn't bring myself to do it. This is probably an interpretation of a Craftsman table, beautifully executed. Table is sturdy and generous, would make a great work space or a kitchen table as well. 30 1/2" high x 3 ft. wide x 28" deep. For delivery. I recommend either TSC Moving or Uship. Vintage Reproduction Tiger Maple Pie Crust Edged Tilt Top Table Candle Stand
Up for auction is a lovely. Well preserved& well cared for, vintage reproduction of a Chippendale style Tilt Top Table, also called a Candle Stand. I believe the top to be made from a solid piece of Tiger Maple; no veneer. I admit that I am not an expert in woods, though. There are no scratches or mars anywhere to my eyes on the table top portion of the table. The circumference is edged in pie crust decorative woodwork. The table is stamped in two different places on the underside with makers mark: 1009. The tilting mechanism on the underside works great and is sturdy. The tripod cabriole legs are heavily carved and are firmly attached to the carved center post of the table.no wobbling. Their footprint on the floor is 20" X 20" X 20" Other dimensions: Height of table top from floor when Horizontal: 28" Height of table ... morewhen tilted: 40" Thickness of Pie Crust Edging: 1 1/4" Diameter of Table Top: 24 3/4" Due to the fragility of this beautiful piece. Heywood Wakefield 1900's Table Maple Wood drop leaf -Opens 2 1/2 to 7 ft.
This antique table is from the early 1900's possibly as far back as the late 1800's. It is heavy solid Maple and in VERY good shape. I would almost call it excellent considering it is over 100 yrs. old. It is original and there is some slight change of color which could be age related. The table is so beautiful and smooth and is a warm golden color. Is has 3 sizes(The table is always 3 1/2 ft. W) The smallest size that you see in the picture with the table cloth on it and the leaves down is 2 1/2 ft. long. With the leaves in the UP position it is a little over 5 ft. long and with the 2 extra leaves installed in the middle it is 7 ft long. So you can see it is a very versatile table. HELLO BIDDERS- You are bidding on an A RE-PURPOSED 1930'S DEMMING CAST IRON BASE WITH A MAPLE WORK BENCH TOP. This is a beautiful piece of industrial furniture that would make a great desk. Dining table or other table. The base is a Demming cast iron base from the 1930's. The base came from a factory near Chattanooga.TN that made uniforms for business and military. It was an original piece in the building I found it in. The beautiful Maple top I found in an industrial salvage plant in Dalton. GA. The top was from the late 1940's. I pressure washed and removed most of the old paint from the table top and sanded it down to a 180 grit. I then coated the top with three layers of poly sanding in between coats. The green 57 Chevy green paint looks incredible against the distressed Maple wood. The table top side was the bottom and the ... morenon-paint side was the working top side. You can use either side so both are pictured for you to choose. They both look incredible. The table top has scars and metal that I ground down flush with the Maple. I sandblasted the base and polished it down to bare metal and shot it with four coats of lacquer giving it an excellent seal. The wheels have also been polished out and can be used or easily removed. The table top measures 60" x 22" and is apx. 28" tall with the wheels on. A simple peg in the wheel hole will raise it an inch or two if needed. It is an excellent height for a desk or dining table.
