Vintage MERSMAN MAHOGANY PIE CRUST PEDESTAL OCCASIONAL TABLE Early to Mid Century Featured today is this GREAT pre-owned vintage MAHOGANY PIE CRUST PEDESTAL OCCASIONAL TABLE BY MERSMAN. GREAT MERSMAN Red Mahogany Round Pie Crust Lamp Table 21" Diameter Top Supported by 3 Fluted Columns 3 Way Bracket LEGS ARE DUNCAN PHYFE STYLE WITH BRASS CAPS Crafted of SOLID MAHOGANY– looks to be the original finish Marked Mersman on underside of table. 5372 Made in the USA Date made unknown– early to mid-century. I would guess. Just acquired at an estate sale& needs a new home. No additional information was given to me at time of purchase. PLEASE REVIEW ALL PICS– MORE ARE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST. SIZE– 21” diameter to top. 27” tall CONDITION– Very good ++ overall pre-owned condition. There are a few minimal surface scratches to the wood top base. Where the pie crust border edges join up. There’s a little lift up at the seam. Also. It looks like a repair was done to end of 1 of the legs(split to wood visible) but doesn’t detract(see pic) I did use some Howard’s wood conditioner to bring back the wood of this piece prior to photographing. This is a genuine vintage item or set. They may not be 100% perfect. Which is what adds to their charm& character. Another one of my estate sale Relics. The legs are black walnut that has been painted numerous times.And the final color is yellow cream with gold radiator paint in places. The legs would make great shelf brackets with a little bit of work,and some woodworking knowledge. its difficult to measur a piece like this but i will do my best. The one leg has a large chip out of the top carving. The legs measure approx 10 in tall if they where standing like table legs should be. They are approx 1 3/4in wide at the top and bottoms with a narrowing portion in the center. There are two dowl holes in the back of the curved portion where it would have sat against the column. I think these would safely hold a 9in shelf with a little modification. They are nicely carved,and the carvings are actual carvings,and NOT plaster applied. Antique HALF MOON Side table Carved Exquisite Three legs
This table measures 12-3/8" deep x 22-1/2" high x 24-1/2" wide. On the underside are the numbers: 60241/8 That's what I could make out. Obviously a new formica top was added. I took a ton of pictures so you could see all condition issues. This is well-used. In photo six. It looks like there is a different round piece of wood within the wood. Antique Large Oak Table w/5 legs and 3 Leaves
C3097. this is a very lovely old table and will serve well it's owner for many more decades. it measuress about 42 1/2" x 42" without leaves and stands about 29 inches tall. it will take castors and that would give it a few inches more in height. But it does not have castors on the legs for this listing. it measures about 71 inches when the three solid oak leaves are in place. the leaves are about 9 1/2" wide. the table and leaves are solid oak; no veneer. i think it dates from about 1900 to the 1940's but not sure of that. it has turned legs and is heavy for it's size. thank you for looking and please visit all my furniture in my store. Offered is a wonderful old Primitive Candle Stand Table. I'm quite certain it is antique and appears to be all handmade. I'm not real familiar with wood types but it has nice grain similiar to oak but the peice is light in weight as I'm sure the wood has dried over its years so if I had to guess maybe a mahogany wood. There are 3 legs that look like wish bones in shape. Theres a turned center spindle that's peg goes through a hammered Iron peice and a wood block and it has a wood pin on its top side. Its a very primitive style of attachment but it allows the top to spin but it also give looseness so the top is a little wobbly but could easily be shored up if desired with a little wedge of cardboard or wood. The top has a slight lip around its edge. On the underside of table top and underneath the legs its marked with the name ... moreor word"FOOSE" Its a great old little table for Primitive Style decor. The condition is good but the wood top and legs have some normal scuffs, dings and scratches associtated to its old age and use. It height is 20 1/2" off floor and the top is 11 1/2" across center. Awesome looking quarter sawn oak library table with carvings and turned legs
This listing is for the awesome looking antique quarter sawn oak(tiger oak) library table pictured. It is a beautiful piece of furniture with nice ornate carvings on all four sides and ornate carved pieces attached to the stretcher base. The legs are nicely turned. Dimensions are 45 1/2" wide by 27" deep by 29" high. The finish is medium dark and is in very nice condition. I believe it was refinished many years ago(we have had it for about 15 years and haven't done anything to the finish. I have included a two pictures showing repairs on the two carved pieces that attach the stretcher base to the rear legs on each side. They are old repairs and they are each very strong. Antique ELIZABETHAN oak TABLE w/BULBOUS legs-AMAZING carving and refectory stlye
Don't know the exact history of this table. We were told it was originally in a men's store in England. It was in our small gift shop for 12 or 13 years. Magnificent oak Elizabethan style with bulbous legs that are beautifully carved. Has a whole shelf under the table as you can see. The apron of the table is beautifully carved as well. The table measures 8 feet long. 4 feet across and is 30 1/2" tall. There are 6 oak planks on the top of the table and the bottom portion has 4 oak planks. I'm told it is a refectory style table. This table is MAGNIFICENT. Obviously there are scratches from its age but they only add to its beauty. Extremely heavy but the most wonderful thing is this table has wheels so it is not difficult to move it around a room. Vintage Industrial Dining Table Kitchen Island Toledo Stool Cast Iron Legs Bar
You're looking at a custom. One-of-a-kind, vintage industrial dining table/ kitchen island/ bar with gorgeous age. This piece contains no new parts whatsoever and was constructed using repurposed butcher block and an antique cast iron base salvaged from an old piece of(printing) machinery. It was made with Toledo stools in mind though any stool with a decent height would work. Seats 8+ adults comfortably. The 2" thick butcher block table top was cleaned. Sanded, stained in walnut and given 3 applications of polyurethane to seal it. You can see from the photos, the superb character of the wood. The 80+ year old base shows minimal signs of age and contains its original moving gears. No rust. A very unique. for auction is just about the sweetest walnut center table to be found i think anywhere. it has a great concave pedestal that is carved in the finest of fashions with three protruding legs emerging from the pedestal that end with three very neat and unusual claw feet. it has ribbons.
