This is a small Vintage Bartley Childs Gate leg table. Marked"Bartley Collection LTD. I looked on their website but I can't find this table. I don't know if it is solid wood, what type of wood, or veneer but it looks like solid wood. There is a chip on the top I tried to picture, and one of the bottom pins slipped up and came unattached, I reattached it but it comes undone, it could be easily fixed, also one wood peg needs re-gluing but is not broken There are scratches where this was probably went for some time without proper fixing. There is one dark mark that is perhaps and old burn but It blends into the dark wood. Overall there are only minor scratches besides what I described and appears usable without extensive refinishing depending on personal tastes. This is a really pretty mahogany gate leg drop leaf occasional table circa 1910. The table the perfect size to use as an end table in the living room or bedroom. The table measures 26 1/2" long. 11 1/2" wide, and 26" tall when closed. When open the measurements are 33" x 26 1/2" oval and 26" tall. There is a 6 1/4" x 17 1/4" deep storage drawer. ~ Beautiful Antique Tiger Oak 5 Leg Dining Table w/1 Leaf ~ Up for your viewing is an awesome tiger oak dining table that I purchased from an estate auction about a year ago. I actually purchased two tables. One was round(which I already sold) and this one. They both had been stored in I believe an attic, for they were very dusty and dirty due to being stored for many years. This table appears to have quite a few layers of varnish or stain on it and when they stored it I believe they put a vinyl table cloth on it, the kind with the cotton or felt like lining and through the years of heat and the layers of varnish it has on it the lining somewhat stuck to the top of the table. When I went to clean it up the fuzzy stuff would not come off no matter what I did so we thought we would try a spot with some paint stripper and it come off. That is ... morewhy the spot is on the top. My intentions then was to strip it off and restain it but never had the time to do it and hated to see this beautiful table sit around and need the space so I am selling it as it is. As you can see on the spot that we stripped under all the varnish that was on it the grain is beautiful and on the leaf, it is the natural color. This table is on wheels except for the center one is missing. But I should have one somewhere around here that I will put on it if I do. Also there is a piece of wood that is off on one of the legs as shown in the pictures. Other than that it is very nice. Once it is restained or whatever one wants to go about finishing the top it will look awesome. The table measures 42" square x 30" tall without the leaf and 25-1/2" from the ground to the bottom of the table. The leaf is approx. 12" wide. I have provided several pictures to view. Unique Pretty Carved Leg Painted Insert Mahogany Coffee Side Table From Scotland
This auction is for a super neat and pretty Painted Insert or Panel on a Mahogany Table with beautiful carved legs from Scotland. Painted furniture is new to me. We seldom buy or even try to get it. But this table just caught my eye and I had to get it. The legs are beautifully carved on two quarters on each leg and each have wonderful"victorian" style feet. The apron under tha table top is Solid Mahogany with a very pretty wavy cut on all four side. The stretcher base has the"wishbone" design on each end and is connected with a solid mahogany stretcher and Get This, each"wishbone" and the stretcher are all"beveled" The top is"beveled" all the way around. It's one of not only the prettiest tables I have seen in a while, but it's extremely well made, Solid& Stable to boot. Everybody ... moretells me'painted" antique& vintage furniture are"IN" so I guess I will find out first hand. It would make a Great smaller coffee table and would also Look Superb in your sun room or covered porch. It could also serve as a side or end table and would look good with a sectional type couch. For Sure, you would want it to be seen by everyone. The table is solid mahogany except for the painted area. It is a veneer that has been inset into the top. The painted area is what I would call slightly distressed, not over done to where the wood shows through, but enough to give it a nice look. My wife said, if she were to keep it, she would have a glass top cut to cover the top. Any local glass shop could do this and it would surprise you at how little it would cost. One thing is for sure, It's the Only One Like It, It's a True One-Of-The-Kind. The table is 28 7/8" X 19 1/4" and 21 3/4" tall. It will have some light blemishes to the finish(light or dark spots or marks) nicks. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. OLD, French inlay marquetry table. This wonderful accent table features a combination of mahogany and rosewood. There is a unique inlay design on the table top which features a tulip flower at each of the 4 corners. The table is oblong, not square, with rounded curves that soften the lines. The top is skirted on each side with an inlay design on the 2 longer skirted sections. The delicate cabriole legs feature a carved rose and leaf drapery detail on the upper sections with additional carving on the lower regions. The table is quite nice and is in good condition. There are some signs of age/use on the finish. These do not distract from the table and do add to its"antique character" These can be resolved, if you prefer, with a little stain and a top coat of varnish. As is common with these ... moretables, it is not heavy. It is structurally very good. THE TABLE IS STUNNING! The table measures 24" wide at the top. It stands 27" tall and is 16" deep(front to back) on the table top. Due to the fragile nature of the table. As well as the size, shipping will be via Greyhound. This table has tons of style- beautiful brass tray with intricate oriental designs. You can use this as a coffee table or hang the table top on the wall- it has a hanging hook already on it; and the legs fold easily for storage. This table's in great condition- the legs have rubber pieces on top to hold the brass tray and they do show signs of aging. But they hold the tray nice and study still.
