Vintage Cast Iron Sewing Machine Base Legs Industrial Table Stand Steampunk
Farm fresh is this vintage matched pair of antique sewing machine legs. Incuded is the cross bar that connects them at the bottom. They are about 28" tall. 13" across the top, and 16" across the bottom. I see no breaks, cracks, or repairs. There is some rust that should clean up. Recent find from an old warehouse is this amazing pair of iron table legs. Unfortunately the pictures do not do them justice. They say Excelsior Machine Works Chicago on the front and have a large eagle. They are made out of Iron. They are 30 inches tall 32 inches wide at the top 27 inches wide at the bottom and 2 inches thick. They have a great worn patina to them and with a coat of sealer they would be just spectacular. They can hold up any size wood top you would need. They weight about 120 lbs each so they are very sturdy. It does have machine holes from the original mountings. I am unsure of what they held but I believe is was a printing press. From what I could learn about Excelsior Machine Works was that it made printing presses. These are from the late 1800's to the very early 1900's. Your never gonna find anything like these ... moreand the large eagles are just amazing on these. I have done some checking on the shipping of these and I can have two wood crates made and ship them via FedEx ground. It will be about 325.00 to get the 2 crates made. This is a very fine example of an industrial era Hamilton Drafting table from the early 1900's. Manufactured in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. The unit is complete and undamaged, with no broken or missing cast iron pieces. The pine top measures approximately 5 feet across, 39 inches at the widest point and 1 inch thick. The top is solid and undamaged with some ink stains, tape adhesive and pin holes generated over years of use. The table adjustments are original, complete and work properly. The legs and frame are the original black paint, showing the years of patina and normal usage. Of early 1900 vintage. Industrial work table with wooden top and green painted cast iron legs, marked 17Z35. Recovered from an old factory located in Ligonier, Indiana. The heavy Rock Maple slab top is constructed using bolted angle irons. The table is in very good vintage condition with a few minor issues: One of the legs has a heavy weld showing and also has broken tab at the foot. The top has minor checking and a visible crack is present by one of the corners. However it is still held together tightly, thanks to the bolted angle iron construction technique. Antique Fancy Industrial Cast Iron Table/Work Bench Legs
This is an interesting pair of antique industrial cast iron work table or bench legs circa 1900. They were found with the original wooden connector bar. It is hardwood and has years of wear from feet resting on it.On the back of each leg there is a specially cast socket for the connector with a hole for screwing. To re-purpose these legs you could use or not use the connector or make a longer one to suit your concept.Each leg has an upwards curving cast iron support that is perpendicular to the leg and would add support towards the middle of your table top.Each leg measures approx. 22 7/8" high. The width at the bottom is approx. 19" The width at the top is 15 3/4" On the inside one leg is marked L for left and the other is marked R for right. I am offering for auction today a Small Antique Mahogany Game Table with Corner Cups with Lids. An Inlaid Wood Top, with a Criss Cross Decorative Iron Leg Support, and a Swing Out Drawer on one side for Cards or Game Pieces. It measures 31 inches square and is 30 inches tall. The corner cups are 2 inches across and the lids are 2 1/2 inches across with a wood knob in the center. I am not a furniture dealer and do not know the origin or style of this table. It may have been a ladies game table due to the size. I do not know what kind of game was played on this table or what the corner cups were for as they are very shallow. I was told by an antique dealer that it was probably from the Jane Eyre era. I was using it for a dining room table in my tiny apartment, but no longer have need for that. Vintage Industrial 6' Dining Kitchen work Table Cast Iron Legs
Custom made heavy duty vintage industrial dining or work table. Measures 72" long. 36" wide and 30" tall. Table top is old growth Oak tongue and groove 1.4" thick, it was reclaimed from a warehouse cart in a shoe factory. The Oak is incredibly dense and heavy, if you tried to drive a nail into in the nail would just bend. The table top has been sanded, but no more than necessary, still shows great character with marks and dings from factory use. I put three coats of polyurethane on the Oak for long lasting protection. The cast iron legs are also from early 20th century and were made by Chicago Hardware Foundry, the legs weigh about 35 lbs each. 8' Antique Vtg 1920's Industrial Island Console Table on Cast Iron Machine Legs
This is a fantastic genuine factory industrial work bench. It is around 100 years old and features thick cast iron machine legs and oak plank top covered in massive 1/8" thick wrought iron metal plating. The plating wraps over the front and back edges. It has wear and holes from use and installation but no cracks or breaks. It measures 8 feet long. 24" wide and 34" high and weighs an estimated 300lbs. Huge vintage industrial table cast iron machine legs salvaged bowling alley lane
You are considering a 6' vintage industrial dining table or workbench constructed by combining iron machine legs and a section of salvaged pine bowling alley lane wrapped in metal. The table is very. Very heavy mostly from the weight of the curved iron machine legs. The legs are bolted on steel plates at the corners, and can be removed. The legs have been power washed to reveal a few layers of paint mostly gray and green. Then they were sealed with several coats of Poly. The pine butcher block table top is from a bowling alley that I salvaged. I removed most of the original surface, but stopped short of taking away the character of an industrial project. The table top was stained gray. It did not take in all areas of the surface which was my plan. The pictures were taken in bright sun so the gray looks washed out. It was wrapped with a steel band to finish the edge, and the all was sealed with several coats of Poly. Picture#7 shows a large chip off of the top of the industrial leg. I cut down two nine foot tables from a butcher in Ohio Amish country to make several tables. I sanded it, and applied several coats of Poly. I added a set of vintage industrial lathe legs for a cool table. The wheels weren't in the plan. I just haven't got around to removing them yet. I tried to take decent pictures so you can judge its condition for yourself. As with any vintage industrial piece it has dings, scratches, cracks, repairs, rust, faded paint, missing paint and a live growth edge. Please see the older major repair where a knot once was. I purchased this from a lady who said it had always been in their family. It originally belonged to her great great grandmother and was a display table in her candy store located in Evanston Illinois. I do not know the age of this but would guess from late 1880's to say 1920. The table top with legs would only be available for local pick. When the frame is assembled the length is about 64 inches. The frames works appear to have been repainted maybe more than once. I think because of the weight it would be better to ship in two boxes. Here is an awesome piece. It is a HEAVY cast iron base from an industrial machine. It is 29" tall, the top is 17" wide by 14" deep, and the footprint is 24" wide x 21" deep. This has a great look and, with the bracket in the back and the extension toward the front, it would make a perfect computer desk you can sit at. Or it would be a great table base as well. This is very robust- the machine it held weighed 340 pounds. This is just what you have been looking for to complete the industrial look in your place.
