It has a decorative edge on the top with a shapely apron below. There are four turned legs with a bottom shelf to add to its stability. The table is just as we found it. It is in very good structural condition with scuffs. Paint loss, etc. commensurate with age and use. The table is a perfect height and is narrow enough to fit into the smallest of areas. It measures 23 1/2" tall X 21 3/4" X 11" across the top approx. It is a light weight little table. It is probably from the 50's! I have not cleaned this. Wood be great for a shabby chic look or painted to add color to a room. This piece was glued from the underside(legs) so it will be shipped as is. No chips. Nicks or repairs. The finish is original and in great condition. There are no loose joints. It is structurally sound. MEASUREMENTS: 31" tall x 24" wide x 12 1/2" deep Item offered is a beautiful Sheraton half table. It has a paper lable that reads Chas. E. Beck Co. S&B Co. It is a mahogany table with long tapered legs, a Mahogany top and a lovely crotched Mahogany skirt. The top and skirt is wonderfully scalloped. It has carved wood oval medallions at the top of each of the 4 legs. It is a well constructed and absolutely a gorgeous table. All of our items are either pre-owned or antique. Hall, or sofa. The half moon(also known as demi lune) shape is excellent for narrow spaces. The wood used in their creation is a fine mahogany wood. Having had plenty of time to age, the mahogany on this pair of antique half moon tables has developed the ideal patina. This warm, medium brown color will go well with almost any decorating scheme. The simple Chippendale style includes four square tapered legs that end in spade feet. The back legs are inset away from the corners. This was done so that if the tables were near a narrow walkway, one would not accidentally kick the back legs as they walked past. This pair is in very good condition. They have survived the years with only minor nicks and marks that now serve to provide the tables with character and charm. We have included some close up pictures that show samplings of these marks.
