Rare Goyard Trunk Luggage Vintage Early 1900's
You are looking at a very interesting piece of history. Goyard is one of the oldest and most revered trunk builders in modern history. Dimensions- 27.5” Wide. 22” Tall, 18 ½” Deep Condition- As you see in the photos there are some damages to the exterior. In only a few places is it ripped through(the worst of the damages are shown in 2 photos) All in all. The exterior is in 80-85% condition considering its age. The hardware is in working order, locking tight. The side handle hardware is also functional. Inside there is no major damage. Stains or odors. Provenance- The top of the trunk is monogrammed with the name Thomas Powers. Malles Goyard Steamer Trunk
A wonderful old travel trunk made in Paris by Goyard. This is the perfect size for a coffee table! Measurements are 33 1/2 inches across. 20 1/2 inches deep, 13 3/4 inches deep. The initials on the side are ACK in red lettering. The brass hardware is nicely stamped. There is no inside tray and the back has slight damage. A split line in the pattern design. The wood slats look great and both sides have the Malles Goyard address label. Inside lining has some spotting to the lower left side. Dates to the 1920's era. 19th Century French Goyard Wicker Steamer Trunk
All original. Immaculate condition, wicker antique Goyard steamer trunk. Wicker skeleton is strong and sturdy, nothing broken or cracked. Gum coated canvas exterior is in perfect condition, edges covered in leather still soft not brittle and dried out. Beautiful brass lock and brass bosses. Decorative wooden slats adorned with brass fasteners. Main leather straps still soft and plyable(one has a small repaired area) Smaller leather straps are brittle but replacable. Heavy duty leather handles are in great shape. The leather lock cover(stamped with the Goyard name) is very nice. Interiror has two trays, everything is covered in fine European linen, with decorative silk ribbons and brass tacks. Inside the top of the trunk is the signature Goyard label, numbered 9901 The original travel canvas cover is with the trunk with several shipping labels ... moreattached. One of the labels is from the German liner TS Bremen which later became Hitler's flag ship. The canvas cover is very fragile and needs alot of repair, but it is all there. This is a wonderful piece of history from one of the top(if not the top) trunk makers in the world. The trunk is rare because of the light weight wicker frame. most were crushed by heavier trunks. The trunk has been appraised and I will gladly provide a copy of the appraisal(shown in pictures)

I have not applied any cleaner to the stain on the top, which appears to be an adhesive from a shipping label that was left on too long. Slightly musty odor. But not very strong. Antique Vintage Hartmann Trunk Luis Vuitton, Goyard Trunk Era
The Joseph Hartmann Luggage Company was founded in 1877 in Milwaukee. Wisconsin. This trunk is a wonderful size 28 1/8(without measuring the wonderful handles) X 17 1/4 X 9 1/2" high and in excellent condition for its age. 1920-1950) The handles are leather and are wonderfully thick and intact. Their earliest trunks seemed to be large, heavy, clothing trunks with hangers. This one is lighter, and very well made.I do not have the key. The pattern on the inside and outside of the trunk is very similar to a Goyard trunk in dark varied forest greens. The 3, yest 3 handles are wonderfully thick, intact leather. One to each side and one to the front. It was once owned by H.L.Beck. The letters are 1/4" tall and approx 2" long below the front leather handle. The outside is heavily studded, I do not see any missing studds. The inside ... moreof this trunk is in excellent condition with its matching intact tray. The tray has some signs of wear. Please check out photos. I had planned to take the partial travel stickers off, but decided to leave that to the buyer. It has been on the Cunard Line- Paris-Cherbough, Bruxelles? The Grand Hotel Du Louvre, Basel the Grand Hotel Victoria National, Hotel Beau-Rivage Lucerne, Beau Rivage Palace Hotel, The Grand Hotel Haglund- Annex Hotel Savoy, and the majority are not intact. Antique Goyard Early 20th Century Trunk with Original Trays
LOCATED IN KELLER(FORT WORTH) TX* For sale is a early 1900's Goyard trunk that is still in relatively good condition for its age. The brass has held up well. Along with the wood slats that cover the exterior. The Goyard monogram and fabric have held up nicely, although there are some smaller tears to the fabric on the rear, as well as the leather on the corners as can be seen in the pictures. The front displays very nicely, and has great overall patina. The trunk's dimensions are 35.5" x 20.5" x 22" and as metal bottom with a set of wheels. The inside of the lid has a water stain that may or may not be able to be cleaned. I am not an expert on these things, so I'm selling as is. C1900. Edwardian era, wicker picnic tea basket with its original contents made by Goyard, Paris, clearly marked on the lid liner. It measures 12 1/2" by 9" and is 7 1/2" deep. It weighs 4 1/2 lbs. It has a tin tea pot with an alcohol burner base. Two tin containers, a bottle with a screw top, a small bottle, tea ball, and two teacups and saucers. It looks like there were originally some napkins and spoons in the lid which are now missing. Everything is in quite nice condition. The tea ball is a bit rusted but otherwise there is little to mention. One cup is cracked. It could use a dusting. This is an unusual fine quality item from the Edwardian era. H. on two sides of the trunk in red paint Evidence of travel is shown with some of the preexisting travel labels on sides The brass hardware shows tarnishing as seen in original patina The interior of the trunk originally had shelves and hangers. Unfortunately those are no longer with the case Normal wear and tear throughout. Please see the mark on the leather edge The lock was at some point opened without a key. Latch still closes but does have signs of it's forced entry. Some of the labels include Cunard Lines New York to Paris. Paris Plaza Athenee Hotel and 1st Class Cunard Baggage labels. The interior is in very good condition. The exterior is showing its age- one brass corner protector has come off(it is included) the covering is torn in places and discolored and torn on the bottom, the original handle has been replaced with a rope, one of the latches is broken and I don't have the key.
