NOW IT IS TORN DOWN AND THIS IS ONE OF THE REMAINING RELICS FROM IT. MY FATHER HAD PURCHASED THIS BUILDING AND MADE IT INTO THE"KD STATION" SHOPPING CENTER IN 1976. Up for sale is this beautiful antique industrial railroad factory cart with heavy duty cast iron wheels and hardware. This cart has be completely restored- great decor and very functional repurposed as a coffee table. It measures 48" long(53" to metal) by 25 1/2" wide and 15" tall. The distressed wood has lot of character which is all original. The wood was lightly sanded. Stained with Minwax"Cherry" then sealed with two coats of spar urethane. The cast iron wheels and hardware were pressure washed then painted with two coats of rustoleum black. Ask if you have any questions and thank you for looking. It is about 25 inches wide, about 50 inches long and about 16 inches high. The stake to push and steer it with comes right out to make a flat table. Great for a coffee table. End table, weird chair of some kind, or other steampunk/industrial furniture! This cart is from a local furniture factory and has been used indoors. Measures 48" long X 24" wide X 14" high. With the hardware the cart measures 53" long. The large wheels are 12" in diameter and the small swivel wheels are 6" in diameter. Hardware The cast iron hardware is solid with no breaks or bends. No rust since this cart has not been used outside. All Wheels turn freely and easily. Center axle is not bent and is dead straight. Wheels are 12" for the middle ones and 6" for the end ones. Frame The frame of this cart is hardwood and solid. The wood surfaces have wear from being used in a factory. Please note the cracked/broken slat on the end(look at the last photo)

I took my table apart when I moved about a year ago and they have been collecting dust ever since. This particular hardware in my opinion has the most decorative corner brackets of any of the factory carts ~ very ornate. I am only selling them to pay for my husbands Fathers Day present. This has been untouched since it was made. 1907 and Globe Trucks is embossed in the cast iron. Globe trucks and Vise was a company that started in 1905 in Grand Rapids. Michigan. I purchased in Mississippi and it had came from the Mississippi Delta. One of the middle wheels is missing a portion of the wheel but you can't see that when it is rolled up under the top. Early Cast Iron Industrial Cart with Wheels & Compressor Repurpose Table Casters
Up for sale is this unbelievable early industrial piece- It's a partial Kellog compressor mounted on a cast iron cart with cast iron wheels. This piece is beautiful and I believe was created/used by an early 1900s mechanic. The wheels are solid. This could make a great table. Lamp, or even display piece. There is a arm for pulling it that can be held at an angle. The piece is raw. It's fresh from the shop I found it in and has just barely been cleaned- I have not degreased it since I love the way it currently looks. The cart originally held something else since there is obviously something square broken off the front and the compressor has been mounted on with screws/some welding. It's a beautiful look and stands almost 18.5" tall. The top of the base of the cart stands 7.5" tall. The entire piece is approximately 25.5" ... morelong. The shipping will be expensive since it weighs almost 60lbs and I will need to build a custom crate. I will ship it via UPS. The shipping crate will cost about $75 for materials and shipping will cost approximately $80. If shipping& materials cost less than anticipated I will refund the difference.
