Large 32" Antique Mahogany Hammered Brass Folding Coffee Tea Tray Table Detailed Offered here is a simply beautiful tray top table. It features a high quality hand etched hammered brass tray top. The top is incredible and features a rider mounted on a horse fighting what looks to be a dragon. It features many smaller pannels with animals carved in them. It is a very nice piece featuring some incredible hand work on the tray top. The top sits on a hand carved base that is made from one piece of wood. The base is pierced carved and interconnected. It is made from what looks to be mahogany. The table stands 19 inches high from the ground and it has a 1 inch rim on the top that brings the height to 20 inches. I would guess that this piece was made in India or Turkey. It features some of the best art work I have seen with a great deal of ... moredetail. Also. The table is quite large. It is 32 3/4 inches in diameter making it just short of 3 feet across. This is just a super piece. I've tried to take a number of pictures so that you can judge for yourself it's quality and value. Oriental Brass Table- Twin Tiers- Circa 1930's This Art Deco period brass tray table is in decent condition for its age. It has heavy patina on the back of both brass trays. There is patina around all of the sides of the brass and in spots on the carved scenes. The wooden stand is in very good condition. It has some patina on the metal hinges. One of the legs has a missing supporting piece(about a 1 inch long little piece of wood) This piece can use some heavy cleaning. This table would have supported a lamp. This lamp is not included. Pleasingly solid brass trays are supported by a folding base to produce a two tier table. The piece is suitable both for permanent location or as on occasional table. When in folded position the table assumes very little space and can be slid under a sofa or such; in addition the gorgeous solid trays may ... morebe used on their own for serving and display purposes. The base is a six leg folding design with dragons head carvings to the upper. The trays display wonderful scense with floral and foliate detailing to the perimeter and a central engraving featuring oriental characters in traditional dress. Brass oval tray sits atop adjustable spider leg base. Tray top is solid brass with leaf motif and unique cut-out designs. Teak base in good condition with no breaks/repairs and folds for easy transport/storage. Legs have brass tips on ends. Dimensions are 45" long x 28.5" wide x 17.5" high. No abuse or corrosion to tray top and the patina is consistent throughout. The base is solid and not rickety. Although the wood joinery could use some glue. Supposedly made in the 1940's this is unlike most tray tables I've seen in that the tray features a reticulated design as well as detailed floral reliefs carved into the legs. I've had the folding wooden base professionally stripped. Repaired, stained and finished in satin clear. Tray measures 36" wide and the table stands 19" tall. In overall fantastic condition save for some tarnish to the tray which I opted to leave in order to display the patina. Nice octagonal heavy brass and glass tray table top coffee table. This style of tray table is very collectable now. It has a wood octagonal base with ivory faux finish. Oriental flavor with a Moroccan feel. Soooo-Hollywood. The heavy wavy pie crust brass fits into the base framing of the table. The brass has a rich patina or can be polish back to original. Its beautiful the way it is. I could not bring myself to polish it. It's 15 3/4" tall x 36" octagonal. The brass and glass is 30" octagonal. A few scratches on the table base. Vintage Mahogany Glass Top Tray Table, Duncan Phyfe Style w/Brass Claw Feet
Vintage Solid Mahogany Glass Tray Top Table. Duncan Phyfe style with Brass claw feet. Likely originally used as a Tea or Dessert serving table. Can be used as a pseudo-shadowbox, as shown with doily(not included) Lovely as an accent piece. Measures 25" x 16.5" And stands 18.5" tall. Original fitted, framed glass top is removable(for serving) All original Brass claw feet with patina. Glass is also original. And bears some scratches/ marks. Piece has the usual scratches and dings from use over time. Commensurate with its age- very good condition overall! Remnants of the original"Genuine Mahogany" label. Issued by the Mahogany Association manufacturers, is visible on the underside of table, as well as what looks to be a"3639" or"3659" manufacturer's stenciled marking. Nice piece!

Antique Vtg Middle East Marquetry Inlay Folding Moroccan Brass Tray Coffee Table
DESCRIPTION: Antique Middle Eastern coffee table. The legs are turned with wood and possibly bone inlay on the outer surfaces. Folding base. With the top and bottom supported by small wood screens. The tray is a heavy brass alloy with hammered Arabesque calligraphy + hunting scenes. The top measures 22 1/2" across. And the folding legs are 16" high.
