Made by Service Caster and Truck Co. in Albion, MI, was recently removed from Messing Planing Mill in St. Louis. MO. It is fully functional. In original condition and can be used as a cart or small table. This is a smaller but taller style cart and measures 36"L) x 24"W) x 26"H) and weighs a measly 270 lbs. It is in the exact condition that it was when it was removed from the building. Anything that looks white is gypsum that fell from the leaky roof and stuck to the wheels. It will clean up great. The only missing part is one screw for the metal retention piece on the top(and I may have a replacement for it) All castings look to be solid with no repairs. Up for sale is this beautiful antique industrial railroad factory cart with heavy duty cast iron wheels and hardware. This cart has be completely restored- great decor and very functional repurposed as a coffee table. It measures 48" long(53" to metal) by 25 1/2" wide and 15" tall. The distressed wood has lot of character which is all original. The wood was lightly sanded. Stained with Minwax"Cherry" then sealed with two coats of spar urethane. The cast iron wheels and hardware were pressure washed then painted with two coats of rustoleum black. Ask if you have any questions and thank you for looking. INDUSTRIAL FACTORY CART Antique - Railroad Trolley w/ Cast Iron Wheels Hardwood
Great for a coffee table. End table, weird chair of some kind, or other steampunk/industrial furniture! This cart is from a local furniture factory and has been used indoors. Measures 48" long X 24" wide X 14" high. With the hardware the cart measures 53" long. The large wheels are 12" in diameter and the small swivel wheels are 6" in diameter. Hardware The cast iron hardware is solid with no breaks or bends. No rust since this cart has not been used outside. All Wheels turn freely and easily. Center axle is not bent and is dead straight. Wheels are 12" for the middle ones and 6" for the end ones. Frame The frame of this cart is hardwood and solid. The wood surfaces have wear from being used in a factory. Please note the cracked/broken slat on the end(look at the last photo)

Restored Lineberry Factory Railroad Cart - Coffee Table - Antique Gray Stain
Fully restored Lineberry factory cart! Perfect for that industrial/rustic look to be used as coffee tables. These are beautiful pieces and are a wonderful focal point in your living room! In the early 1900's Charles Lineberry started the Lineberry Foundry and Machine Company in North Wilkesboro. North Carolina. Often called railroad carts, these beautiful carts were originally used in railroad depots for transporting trunks, and were later used in furniture factories for moving large pieces from one specialist artisan to the next. As late as the 60's and into the very early 70's the company shipped around 1000 of these carts a week. Each cart is fully disassembled. Cast iron and wood. Cast iron pieces are individually sandblasted. And they are repainted in a flat black paint. Nail are replaced w/ black pyramid head nails. Each plank cleaned and sanded(maintaining its' original surface texture) Stained and sealed. It is re-assembled and stored for curing for several days. This is a great looking railroad cart. Often listed as an industrial. Factory, or lumber cart. All the wood is original in a gray weathered color. See pictures for details. This would make an outstanding looking coffee table or patio/outdoor piece of furniture. Depending on your tastes, you could put a piece of glass on the top and leave as is to appreciate the weathered wood and protect from spills, etc or go for a refurbished look. It is very heavy. The cart has been cleaned with water(wood and cast iron) and a wire brush has nicely cleaned up the cast iron wheels, axle, bolts, and corner pieces. There are no cracks in the wheels and the axle is straight. All wood pieces making up the frame are very solid. All the wood is very weathered but surprisingly smooth. This was made in Indianapolis IN by Tucker& Dorsey Manufacturing. This is all original as it sits. It is missing a few of the boards on the top which could be easily replaced with like color barn wood. I only see that there is 3 of the original carriage bolts and square nuts missing as well. The stenciling on the side is faded out quite a bit but some is still legible.This cart also would make a great restoration project for that perfect coffee table. Antique Oak Slant Top Desk Drafting Railroad Student Work Industrial Table
For sale is a very nice oak desk with slant top and two drawers. It is 5 feet long and is probably early 1900s. These desks are hard to come by. About 2 feet deep. 3 feet 5 inches at the highest point. The legs are bolted on and so can be removed relatively easily. There are a couple of cracks in the legs- one repaired and the other does not need repair. I am not sure of the original intended purpose of this desk. Some describe it as a railroad desk. Also school or teachers desk. Drafting desk. It is great looking. Though. There are two holes in the top for some sort of cylinders, maybe pens or drafting tools. 1907 Antique Industrial Railroad Trolley Factory Cart Cast Iron Coffee Table
This has been untouched since it was made. 1907 and Globe Trucks is embossed in the cast iron. Globe trucks and Vise was a company that started in 1905 in Grand Rapids. Michigan. I purchased in Mississippi and it had came from the Mississippi Delta. One of the middle wheels is missing a portion of the wheel but you can't see that when it is rolled up under the top. Antique Railroad Cart With Inset Glass Up for your consideration is this re-purposed railroad cart/factory cart. These carts had many of uses in the past and many are still used in factories. The carts are from the early 1900's. They are very solid and the reason they are still around and being used. Kick back with this very cool and unique table. This table is classy enough to go anywhere in a home. A lot of hours went into the table and am very happy with the results. I took off all the boards and started by picking the best boards to reuse. The boards were turned on the sides and two boards make up the two ends. This was an enjoyable project and happy with the way it turned out. Being able to see the wheels through the glass is very nice. These cast iron wheels have the unique circular pattern. The four cast iron wheels are original ... moreto the this cart. All four wheels are exactly how they were found. The wheels were only cleaned with a light soap and water. No harsh chemicals have been used, at all. None of the iron parts have been painted or coated. The corner brackets were added. Which came off of another cart similar to this one. The brackets have been lightly coated to preserve the patina. The coating did not cause them to be super shinny. All the wood is original to this cart. Which includes the wood frame. A couple coats of Polyurethane have been applied to the wood. A matte finish has been used so it does not have a super shinny finish which you often see. The pictures are not the greatest. Took them in the room where the finish was applied and not outside. More pictures can be sent upon request. A quarter inch glass is used in the middle. The cart is 62" at the longest stretch. From one corner bracket to the other. The wood frame the long way is 53" The glass is 38 1/2" at the longest stretch. Going the other way the widest point is 30 1/2" The glass is 21 1/2" wide. I will deliver to many parts of Wisconsin.
