BEAUTIFUL 1920's ITALIAN DEMI LUNE CONSOLE TABLE This is fantastic Demi-lune console table from the 1920's. It is Italian in origin and has a very elegant design and look of finesse about it. It has a lovely curved shape that is typical of the end of the nouveau and start of the Deco era. The table is design to be suspended and there are two brackets with which it can be fixed to the wall. The table top has a walnut veneer which has a fantastic grain running through it. The gold in colour and has been beautifully carved. The amount of work that has gone into this piece is fabulous- it has plenty of intricate detail. This really is a lovely table and would look fantastic in any room- it is probably most suited to a hallway but could equally be used in a dining or living room with a nice mirror above it. This stunning old table features intricate carved designs with strong French or Italian influences. The table has graceful lines and curves. The table has been painted white(somewhat distressed"whitewashed" finish) with gold gilt accenting on the table rim and on the carved features. The carvings are numerous with acanthus leaves and shell pattern on the front apron of the table with an open/pierced carved design. The back legs have large acanthus leaf accents. The feet have a carved"talon and ball" or claw and ball design. The two front legs feature exquisitely carved birds, one on each upper leg. The birds have wonderful detail with cross hatched feathers and intricate eyes and beaks. STUNNING! The bottom ... morestretcher features a center acanthus leaf shell with an incised cross. The table is in very good condition with some signs of use. It is quite sturdy(but not terribly heavy) and does not wobble. There is some chipped paint on the top as well as some condensation marks from glasses being placed on the top with no coasters. These are not terribly distracting and are somewhat faint in nature. The table top could be painted quite easily to match the existing white color if you do not care for the"character marks" This is a beautiful table with exceptional detailing. There are upholstering tack holes on the underneath side which are unnoticeable unless you turn it over! At one time it had a material skirt that hung down! From the bottom of its feet to the top of the scrolled leg it stands 22 1/2" inches tall! From the floor to the table top it stands 10 1/2" tall! It measures 41" wide! This is a beautiful. Crotch mahogany game table. It is diminutive in size at 29.5" H x 30" W x 17" deep and really fits anywhere. The legs are graceful and ornately carved. The top is a gorgeous flame mahogany with wonderful grain and rich color. The top swivels and opens to a four person game table. Inside, there is a"secret" compartment for cards or chips. There was no need for the sides/legs to be removable, so I chose to make it much more solid I love the original trim around the edges of the top. It has great details The top is made from a 4 way matched(4 pieces of veneer matched together)walnut burl veneer.I hand rubbed 10 coats of varnish to achieve the incredible luster and depth which showcases the walnut wood.there are small natural cracks& a few tiny dings in the center of the top burled area.all character is consistent with its age. That is what makes it a beautiful antique The medallions on the ends. Sides& legs are made from Bakelite(original resin) or Bakelite type material. Up for consideration is a fine Spanish Revival Iron and Marble Center or console table. The table is decorated fully on all sides meaning that it probably a center piece as opposed to a console table that sat against the wall only. It measures 30 inches wide 15 inches deep by 31 inches tall. The piece has great form with nice lines. There are several little finials that hang around the piece. A few are missing. Measures 33 1/2" tall X 44 1/2" wide/long X 12" deep. White removable marble slab is 3/4" thick. This is an antique from probably before 1900 made in the Louis XVI style. It belonged to my great grandmother who lived to be 100 and died close to 20 years ago. Inside the drawer, the sides are pine lined. The table has been handmade using the pegged construction method. Below the drawer, four very pretty tapered legs support the table. This is a very nice mahogany dining table made in USA. There are many ways you can use the dining table. It can be a small table or a small oval table which will seat 4 people. There are 3 leafs which go into the center you can use one two or three depending the size you need. To the top of the legs it has satinwood string inlay with round turned tapered legs. To the center there are two legs for extra support. You could also use this as a small console table then when entertaining put all the leafs in. Measurements are 74 long fully extended 38 wide. there are 3 leafs at 13 1/2 each leaf.39 1/2 high and when you take all the leafs out its 38 wide and 20 deep. 8' Antique Vtg 1920's Industrial Island Console Table on Cast Iron Machine Legs
This is a fantastic genuine factory industrial work bench. It is around 100 years old and features thick cast iron machine legs and oak plank top covered in massive 1/8" thick wrought iron metal plating. The plating wraps over the front and back edges. It has wear and holes from use and installation but no cracks or breaks. It measures 8 feet long. 24" wide and 34" high and weighs an estimated 300lbs. Vintage Console Table with inlay PICK-UP ONLY JENKINTOWN. PA(NORTHERN PHILADELPHIA SUBURB) I can remember this table in my grandmother’s storage room in the 1950’s. Then in my parent’s garage until a couple of years ago. Now it is in my garage. I do not recall it looking much different than it does now, except maybe it has a tad less paint now. I don’t know the exact age. Style or even the type of wood used. I can tell you that the top has 2 bands of inlay. If you take the front width of the table and make that the base of a triangle with the top point going to the center back, that triangle is a darker colored wood than the side sections. The two sides are separated from the center with a narrow band of inlay on each side. Some of the inlay appears to be missing. The fluting on the leg columns seems to be dark. There is a shelf on the bottom.I ... morehave tried to show in the photos what I describe. Width. Across the back 32” Width across the front 19” Depth.
