The top is 72 inches(6 foot) by 44 inches. Unlike most drafting table tops. This one is not full of pin holes or scratches. The top is very smooth and in great condition which is pretty rare. I've had this at least 15 years and used it with a white masonite protector over the top. There are some water stains on the top. One of the oak side caps has a small saw notch in it. The light has very good paint and works OK. The right hand Vemco 4100/30 drafting machine is in very good condtion. A few chips in the paint. It is a 30" machine which is an appropiate size for this board. I am not including any scales, they are availabe on Ebay. The stool has alot of paint worn off on the steel legs. It is the Fred Flintstone stool. Used to have a pad on top. The stool is the right height for most people who would use this table. The bottom of the drafting table is oak and is complete. I had to take parts from another table to complete the hardware on this one. There is one crack which was repaired on one of the leg braces as you can see in the pictures. Glue squeezed out from the crack wh ich is the line you see. The table tilts and can be raised or lowered. To ship this would mean crating it and unfortunately there is no inexpensive way to do this. These cast iron adjustable table legs date late 1800s. They are embossed CHANDLER THE BOSTON. E2; DESIGN PAT.JUNE29.97.PAT. JUNE 9.1896.NOV.14'98. The legs measure each 12" across the bottom. 8 X 3 1/2" at the top; from 16 1/4" tall in the lowest to 23" in the highest position. Condition of these legs is very good. No breaks.

Cool. Old store display table. This is a tri-legged rolling and height adjustable table appears to date from the early 1900's. Adjusts from 2 feet 3 inches at its lowest to 3 feet 5 1/4 inches at its highest. The table top(19 3/4" long x 12 5/8" wide) is all wood with the frame in a black crackled enamel and a bare pine inset that has been sealed in wax. Metal casters and bearings with smooth operation. Really neat in function and operation with a locking knob keep the tabletop secure. Heavy! May want to debris(mostly just needed at the legs) and seal in a gloss.would be a neat look! Nice!

Up for auction is an Antique Cast Iron Rolling Industrial Adjustable Swivel Table from the early 1900's The top looks to have been replaced with modern piece of wood. The table adjusts up and down and the table tilts like a drafting board. Both adjustments work well and hold tightly. Unit looks not to have been repainted. The base measures 12 wide at the caster wheel side on the stationary side it is 14 in wide. The base measures 20 ½ wide. At the lowest point from the ground to underneath the table top it measures 23in at the highest adjustable point it measures just under 39in. The wood top measures 18x26. I don't know exactly what this table is for or how it was used. The top is 16 X 26 Inches of an unknown to me type of wood. It is lumber core with veneer on the top. The pedestal is telescoping and can be lowered to a minimum height of 28 inches or raised to a maximum height of 42 inches. As can be seen in picture number three the top can be rotated to 90 degrees from the original position. It can also be tilted in either direction. There is a rod that can be flipped from one side to the other. I don't know what the rod is used for. But it can be placed in the other hole and it changes where it lies on the top. This table weighs 30 pounds and will require a large box at least 32 inches tall and 18 by 28 inches. Because of the size it will have to be shipped via UPS. The faucet style handle is used to adjust the tables height and is in working order. Everything about this table is original. The very best part though is the brass tag attached to the base. Everything works well and the condition is good with minor imperfections due to age and wear with minor oxidation and usage marks in the wood. The table base is all cast iron with one adjustment for elevation and another adjustment for table angle. The stool also has a screw adjustment to meet the height of the drafting table. Vintage Adjustable Cast Iron Stand ~ Optician ~ Typewriter ~ "Karlo" Karl Mfg.
A vintage cast iron and wood adjustable optician's table or typewriter stand. Appears to be a"Karlo" item manufactured by the Karl Manufacturing Company. Grand Rapids, Michigan, ca. 1920. Has an American Optical Company decal attached to its lower base. The stand/table has a Doric styled fluted column that rests on three cabriole legs. All of its parts are original and the raising/lowering mechanism. As well as the locking mechanism, all function as designed. The wooden top measures 14 3/4" x 22 3/4" and has an inset of green felt. It will adjust in height from 26” to 39" Steam Punk Overall. It's in excellent condition with the exception of scratches and dings in the wooden top and the cast iron base. The green felt insert has stains but the design of the two piece top makes replacement fairly simple. The ... morehard rubber caster wheels are pitted but are still functional.
