C3097. this is a very lovely old table and will serve well it's owner for many more decades. it measuress about 42 1/2" x 42" without leaves and stands about 29 inches tall. it will take castors and that would give it a few inches more in height. But it does not have castors on the legs for this listing. it measures about 71 inches when the three solid oak leaves are in place. the leaves are about 9 1/2" wide. the table and leaves are solid oak; no veneer. i think it dates from about 1900 to the 1940's but not sure of that. it has turned legs and is heavy for it's size. thank you for looking and please visit all my furniture in my store. It is just about 30 1/2" tall with the original casters installed and can be dropped down about another inch just by popping the casters off. The original leaves are long gone but this table was used with birch make-do leaves and a single castoff oak leaf from another table for large holiday gatherings. The birch leaves are 21" wide and the lone oak leaf is 12 1/2" With all the leaves in place this table extends to 98" Do you need an 8+ foot table for your holiday gatherings? Set of 5 Solid Mohogany 48" Banded Inlaid Dining Table Leaves~ 4 Metal Pegs
Fresh from a local estate we offer this set of 5(2 with skirt) solid mohogany banded inlaid table leaves. They measure 48" long and 9.5" wide. They have banded inlay on the top side egdge and side edge. Four metal pegs lock leaves in. Spacing for pegs is 1.5" and 16.5" from the edge. The edges of the leaves show scratches etc. from years of storage. Finish looks to be original so leaves would benefit from a refinishing. The corner of the edges have some chips ans wear and the lot is being sold as found. These will make a beautiful dining table complete! The solid tiger oak table top rests on a carved decorative apron with highly carved substantial legs and detailed carved paw feet.This dining table is solid. Tight and opens to accept the leaves with ease. This fine antique table has its casters intact on all the legs to allow for ease of movement within your home.This table has a lovely presence and is in wonderful antique condition. The top does show some light surface scratches and age appropriate wear, and three of the leaves appear darker than the others.nothing major in my opinion just signs of character and usage ... morefrom the past 100 years but I did want to mention it.
