This item was purchased from a former Herman Miller employee. This chest is made from Teak wood with an external Rosewood Staining. Pedestal base is aluminum and painted"studio white' from the manufacture. Chest bottom has 4 small original feet that allow you to use the cabinet without the pedestal. Chest has been drilled(by Herman Miller) to accept the pedestal base(screws are not included) Dimension: nine-drawer chest without pedestal base: 10.5" w | 13" d | 23.5" h nine-drawer chest with four-star pedestal base: 10.5" w | 13" d | 43.5" h Condition: I was told that this set was never used- pedestal base still has its feet wrapped and ... moreprotected! G-Plan gold stamp on interior. I have a matching low credenza sideboard that needs a repair to the leg that I will be listing later. CONDITION: Overall very good graining. Color and finish with minor edge wear and small chips. Drawers slide in/out smoothly but the"gap" between drawers on a couple of the drawers need slight adjustments to the interior rails. I noticed that on one of the drawer fronts there is a vertical seam in the teak veneer(see last photo) The rawer isn't broken or damaged at all.
