Highly collectible today for home use. As this striking pair shows. Deeply carved in the Bali tradition, solid natural wood, seems like oak, they weigh a ton. I purchased these from an antique dealer in Carmel several years ago. Who had lived in Bali and Indonesia and had these shipped over many years ago. They stand stand 17" 17.5" tall(one a tad bigger than other) Including a 2" thick top, ... moreapproximately 50" in circumference, measured around the middle. Base is about 3" thick and measures about 14" with octagonal corners. Top measures 19"x 20" for one, other is 18.5"x 19" These are beyond fabulous for tables! They are so heavy and solid. I would guess they weigh at least 100 pounds plus, or more. Original paint, pinks, yellows, greens, more, all deeply carved with the ancanthus leaves, portion of a face in one. Symbolic I am sure, but I only know that they are antique, solid hand carved, with beautifully weathered old natural rustic paint. They are carved all the way around. I cannot hardly move to photo! Beyond shabby chic! Fabulous patina! The natural wear of salvage but that is their beauty! One side on each has a crack that doesn't go through that only adds to the patina. Please see photo of the only one to me, of any consequence, does mot interfere with use. Usually when found they are all cracked from weather but these still retain their artistic solid qualities! I'm selling a very old and unique folding table. Appears to be from the early 1900's. Really a great old primitive camp table. It's in very strong sturdy condition. The table top oak boards are each hinged in several places so that it can fold up and hold the leg section. The top when opened has a swinging cross bar that locks into the other side to hold all boards flat and stable. The leg sections are all hinged and pull open and closed. When opened the table top locks into the bottom legs making a very sturdy table. They definitely don't make them like this anymore. It is a nice two tier wicker over hardwood table or plant stand. It is 22" tall with a 13-1/4" square diameter at the top. It features four wicker wrapped outward curving hardwood legs. Woven wicker on the edge of the lower shelf, with the original metal feet and double oak wood shelves. It remains in very good condition just showing normal wear including small shallow dents on the edges of the top shelf. The wicker and wood have darkened with age. But show no damage. It is sturdy and sits level and steady on any flat surface. The original paper maker's label can be seen on the bottom of the lower shelf. I am selling this wonderful Tiger Oak table that can be used for a kitchen or dining area. It is a dramatic piece and everyone comments on it when they come in. As you can see. I used it in a kitchen nook with a window seat before I changed decor. The table is 45" diameter. I have no idea how old it is but there is a sign on the bottom that says_Co. Montoursville, PA. I can't read the first part of the sign clearly. It is in good antique condition with a couple of bumps that could be retouched. See the next to last photo and look toward the center. The top of the work table has shallow scratches. Other than that, this piece is in good condition and moves freely to tilt. There are two spots on the base that seem to be where a plate or tag of some sort was attached by the manufacturer. One is circular like that used by Frederick Post company, the other is rectangular(please see photos) however I cannot find anywhere indicating the manufacturer, although the style is similar to Post tables. I am unsure of the type of wood, it looks like oak, but the base is a bit darker than the top, unless the top has been refinished at some point. This beautiful old table is solid and extra-long. Based on its construction, I’m guessing that it’s around 100 years old. I have found no identifying marks. Overall Dimensions: 95 ¾” x 41 ½” x 30” L x W x H) Table Top: 93” x 39 ½” Distance from floor to bottom of the frame: 24 ½” Weight: 163 lbs. Each of the 4 massive legs is made up of 3 or 4 pieces that were glued together before being turned. The leg diameter about halfway up is 4 ¾” And the foot diameter is 5 ¼” There are a few scratches on the top. As you would expect to find on a table that was used for decades. The frame of the table has been repaired in a couple of places, and near one ... morecorner, glue is visible along the outside of the lower edge(see photo#6) There are a few vertical“stripes” around the perimeter, where dark stain ran down the sides. Two of the boards that make up the table top have separated slightly near one end, and the separation extends for a little more than a foot. Each leg is secured by a single square nut. Round Oak Table with 4 Chairs. The Oak Table is 48" round. There are no leaves. The table was my grandmother's who received it for her wedding. It was used furniture at the time. She married in 1920. So I know the table is at least that old, probably more. The table itself is in good condition for its age. The center has a round discoloration probably from the sun. The table has never been refinished. The four chairs all match. But I am not sure if they were original to the set or not. For local pickup I accept only cash(no checks) on collection. We wish we had room to keep this original piece of what we believe is American History. But let our loss be your gain- Create a new family heirloom with our old family wooden table. Leaves and fifth leg for when you extend it into an oval included. Otherwise it is round. Rustic and evidence of wear/slight damage to surface with use do not diminish. And in fact enhance, the beauty of this piece. I do not know it's origin or age but it is at least to early 20th century if not 19th- My father's great uncle was an antique dealer in Zanesville Ohio and this came from the farmhouse my dad grew up in. Vintage Antique Solid Oak Wood Library Dining Work Table Desk Rustic 5' Restored
For auction is one freshly restored vintage oak library table. It has a solid oak frame and legs and an oak veneer top. The two drawers have solid oak handles. It has been stripped. Sanded, stained, and refinished in a natural Danish oil. I usually prefer to keep the original finish when possible, but this table was truly in dire need of refinishing. There are still a few flaws present, but they simply add character. There are some thin, dark scratches on the top still, as well as areas along the edge and corners where the veneer has worn through. There is also about an inch long depression on the back edge where there is still the remnants of a small burn mark(pictured) DIMENSIONS: 59.5" long. 31.5" deep and 30.5" tall. Wood Oak Industrial Folding Table Desk Workbench Bar Stand Altar Drafting Podium
This table is a modern table- post 1950. This is the wrong category and that will be changed shortly. Thank you. Folded. This solid oak folding table is only 5 inches deep. It was custom made by a local craftsman. It stands 34" tall; it measures 30" x 35" Plus the handle. It weighs approximately 100 lbs! It uses four piano hinges and solid oak sides. It's all oak, and it looks like stainless steel on some of the hardware. The long bolts that hold the braces in place, however, are starting to rust. They are not stainless steel. If you want to pick it up, I will refund the full shipping/ handling charge. Believe me, I really don't want to ship this. It will be no fun to wrap. And I will have to drive it approximately 50 miles each way to the UPS center! The wood has scratches; the wood has little dings and chips; it's ... moreused, but it's so strong that it's good for practically anything. It also has some markings on it, and some paint. Antique Victorian Oak Wood Plant Stand Table Fern pron scroll work 2 Tier
Antique Victorian Dark Oak Wood with gold gilt tone when certain light hits the table legs. Nice looking Plant Stand Table with a ornate apron with scroll work. Good-Fair condition, discoloration dark marks to the top, scuffs and scratches. Varnish loss. Lower shelf has wood loss and bottom of the same erea has wood loss where the screw tightens. See pictures. Still grabs and tightens but must be careful not to cause further damage. There's Cracks from age on few of the aprons. See pictures. 3 screws have been replaced with modern day screws that hold the lower shelf on and someone has done a average sloppy glue job seen in some of the pictures. I removed the glue that holds the top on to the legs to make it easy and safe to ship, plus much cheaper to ship. May be shipped in two packages. We will decide the shipper once packed. Assembly ... morerequired plus glueing the top back on if desired. We will not be responsible if the buyer has problems re-assembling the table, stripping screws or causing more damage to the table. This is a beautiful table I love how the Legs were crafted showing off a beautiful pattern of the wood The top does have some minor nicks and stains I do not know the maker- it does have a stamped number 805 underneath There are no nails or screws connecting each leg to the bottom of the table it is a slot groove(I don't know the actual term for this) I removed one leg and this leg does have a minor split on the edge(shown in last photo) this had happened sometime in the past. This table is sturdy I will be removing the legs when shipping& will mark each leg& slot with a pencil where they originally belong.
