And the 4 hooks measure 10" 8" 5-1/2" 4" from top to bottom respectively. Each hook turns 180 degrees, and each has 3 pinholes in the back to hold each hook in a different place. This piece weighs just over 4-1/4 pounds. This item does have paint loss and very minimal surface oxidation, particularly on the back where it is attached to the wall. Today I will be listing 2 very unique victorian era hooks. Both will have BIN's and if you win both you can save BIG on combined shipping! So up first is this antique victorian era cast iron chandelier/ceiling hook with matching rosette/bracket/plate. The entire hook measures about 5 3/8" long and the hook section itself is about 2 9/16" long. The rosette/plate is about 2 7/16" in diameter at the diagnol. Both parts are in excellent shape with some typical light wear and oxidation. As pictured. I see no damage so this hook is ready to mount. There is a sligth bend in the screw section that you can sort of see in the last picture but this will have no functional or structural effect. The pictures speak for themselves. I admit that I know little about this old STIMSON Wall Mount Scale Bracket. And that's after having it for several years. Moving it& tripping over it a half a dozen times. In my internet research I could only find 1 more like it. It was complete, dated 1928& was called a Meat Hook Scale. I had intentions too make a tool rack for my log furniture tools but that is probably not going to happen. I cannot say the two pieces go together but they were together when I bought them. The total length of the steel pipe is 29 1/2" and the cast iron wall mount is 21" and weights 31 lbs 12 oz. The scale bar? is brass& 28 1/4" long. It weights 7 lbs 9 oz. They weight 40 lbs total. Here for your consideration is this neat old advertising wall mount trouser hanger for the collector or decorator. The wall mount on this is made of cast iron it has two mounting holes. It looks to be copper plated and it has the advertising from Globe Electro Plating Co. in Philadelphia, Pa the rods where you slide the pants on look to be made of chrome or nickel plated steel, the rods measure about 9 inches long. The width of the part with the screw holes is 2 1/2 inches. It is a heavy durable hook. It has black paint with some aging and wear to the finish. The hook itself is all good with no breaks. This cast iron hay hook was handforged which shows with the wrap around metal connection on the loop. Measures 11 3/4" long. Would estimate this was made in the early 1900's. 7 Hand Forged Antique Smaller Single Hook Coat Hat Hooks Cast Iron
Please use the Supersize Feature on our pictures at the top and below the description as we consider them to be a very important part of our auctions- our photos show great detail and they are about the next best thing to"being there" This is a group of 7 small antique coat hooks that appear to be hand forged. Six of these hooks are the same and the hook that has old paint on it is just a bit smaller. Six of these hooks are in very good condition with no cracks. Breaks, or worn areas in the metal and there are no repairs, but one of the larger black hooks has a flaw in the cast iron(sort of a dent) near the end of the hook which you can see in the pictures. The bigger hooks were all painted black at some point so they do show signs of natural wear and use with most of the paint missing. The bigger hooks have a reach of 2” long. ... moreAnd the mounting base is 1” x 3/4” with a little pointed stability spike on the back side. The hole in each hook will accommodate a 3/16” screw or nail. The smaller painted hook has a reach of 1 3/4” long– otherwise the measurements are the same. Up for sale here is an old. Iron hook with a latch. I believe this is an old piece of horse tack. This is a barn find from here in SW Missouri. This latch is marked"American" on one side.
