This Cushman telephone stand has been in my family. At my grandparents' house, for as along as I can remember. I am 63. It is a lovely and unique piece. Online research states this piece is"solid quarter sawn tiger oak wood.It has an attached hinged stool nestled within a stand when not in use.has the original paper label. The tables measures 30.5" high, almost 18" wide, and 14.25" deep in the closed position. One leg of the stool(not the table) has had some repair, a splinter high up near the seat, not readily visible. There are a couple rings on the table from wet glasses, and about a 4" x.25(1/4) inch sliver on the table which could be expertly repaired. Please write me if any questions.

Can be a table for two with leaves down. With leaves extended it sits four comfortably. I dont have extension leaves. But the middle opens to accept leaves and accommodate a large dinner party. It has a fifth leg as pictured in the center to administer weight evenly when leaves are inserted. The measurements when leaves are down is 41 1/2" W x 25" L x 30 1/2" T. With the drop leaves extended it is 41 1/2" W x 52 1/2" L. It has minimal wear to finish from practical use, it looks as though it has been refinished. The top of the work table has shallow scratches. Other than that, this piece is in good condition and moves freely to tilt. There are two spots on the base that seem to be where a plate or tag of some sort was attached by the manufacturer. One is circular like that used by Frederick Post company, the other is rectangular(please see photos) however I cannot find anywhere indicating the manufacturer, although the style is similar to Post tables. This table has beautiful quarter sawn tiger oak wood. It measures 36" X 24" and stands 29.5" tall. This table has a manufacturer stamp in the drawer by its maker. The Brandt Cabinet Works, Hagerstown, Maryland. The pedestal supports are smooth lined. It is a family heirloom, belonging to my grandparents. They had many oak pieces, but I believe this was probably one of the finer. My mother& I are in the process of combining two homes and just can't keep everything. Please look at the photos. The wood in this wonderful old strong table is 1" thick. From wear. The wood feels like silk to the touch. An elderly Antique Dealer once told me that the way to tell if the piece of furniture is an early piece is to look for SQUARE Nuts(instead of Hexonal Nuts) and this table has square nuts(legs are removable) and is indeed an early piece. Table shows age in the best way ~ lovely Patina. I have made the measurements by using the widest part, as leaves are tapered; each leaf measures 33" widest part) x 16" widest part) With both leaves up, table measures 42" x 53" With both leaves down, table measures 42" x 23" With just one leaf up, table measures 42" x 37-1/2" Table measures 29" tall. We used table for dinner parties as well as a buffet for serving dishes. The two leaves give the table ... moreso many uses. This beautiful old table is solid and extra-long. Based on its construction, I’m guessing that it’s around 100 years old. I have found no identifying marks. Overall Dimensions: 95 ¾” x 41 ½” x 30” L x W x H) Table Top: 93” x 39 ½” Distance from floor to bottom of the frame: 24 ½” Weight: 163 lbs. Each of the 4 massive legs is made up of 3 or 4 pieces that were glued together before being turned. The leg diameter about halfway up is 4 ¾” And the foot diameter is 5 ¼” There are a few scratches on the top. As you would expect to find on a table that was used for decades. The frame of the table has been repaired in a couple of places, and near one ... morecorner, glue is visible along the outside of the lower edge(see photo#6) There are a few vertical“stripes” around the perimeter, where dark stain ran down the sides. Two of the boards that make up the table top have separated slightly near one end, and the separation extends for a little more than a foot. Each leg is secured by a single square nut. For sale is an antique hand-carved octagonal oak table from the early 1900's. It is in good condition. Clean, and very sturdy. The top is rich, solid oak, and it has 16 carved oak legs built in to an octaganal-shaped carved oak base. Please note that the top does have a few scratches and small nicks to its otherwise smooth, polished surface due to age and many years of use, but it can either be simply refinished or left alone(see pictures) Measurements: 15 3/4" long. 15 3/4" wide, 16 1/2" high.
