Description: Superb John Keal designed walnut coffee table. Both halves of top slide open from center to reveal a black laminate surface for dining. Top rests on walnut square bases. Designed in 1964 by John Keal for Brown-Saltman. This particular table has the date Sept. 21 1971 and the number 8207 stamped on the underside. A very scarce piece with a strong following of collectors and decorators. Dimensions: 66" length extends to 96" x 24" depth x 15" height Condition: Structurally sound; top slides smoothly. Danish Teak Table Edvard Kindt-Larsen France & Son Retro Vintage Mid Century
A solid teak side table by Tove& Edvard Kindt-Larsen for legendary manufacturer. France& Søn. Along with the Kindt-Larsen's, many of the premier Danish designers eventually designed pieces for France& Søn including Finn Juhl, Peter Hvidt, Ole Wanscher and Arne Vodder. This table is part of series of lounge tables that were constructed entirely from solid teak. The tabletop is constructed from laminated planks of teak with a very stylish curved lip that runs down each side. This curve is carried through to the support underneath that holds teak slats which forms the shelf. We love how the shelf slats follow the curve upwards to prevent magazines, books or other objects from falling off. The teak has a wonderful patina that is only developed form years of use. For your consideration is this quality vintage 1940’s-50’s End Table. It’s designed in a Frank Lloyd Wright Style. There are 2 sets of numbers etched into the underside of the table(see photos) It also has a lower shelf. This piece is in very good vintage condition being approx 50-60 or so years old and is structurally sound and sturdy. It is free of breaks or repairs with only normal age appropriate signs of use including some rubs. Dings, wear, and surface scratches as pictured but nothing I find to be out of the ordinary and is commensurate with use of vintage furniture. Vintage Mid Century Clear Lucite End Table Base 1950's Eames Era Atomic Mad Men
This is a wonderful vintage(1950's) clear lucite end table base. The piece stands 18" tall. Is 19" wide. I am selling this lucite base without the glass top. It takes a round 18" glass, easy to get inexpensively locally and too difficult to ship. There are lucite end pieces to hold the glass securely, see pictures. This lucite base one is very nice, has not yellowed or been abused. There are a few scratches but nothing that takes away from the overall nice look. I took this base apart and cleaned it very well with mild soap and water so it is clean and ready to go. I replaced the screws and bolts with identical new ones for a cleaner sharper look. This is a great little table that will not take up space visually and has a nice Mid Century look. The light will be wrapped very well and insured for safe delivery. This is a cute little mid century side table. It stands 17.25" tall. The top is 14.25" x 14.25" The round base is 11" in diameter. The top is a shiny faux-wood or formica with a plastic edge. The base is a matte faux-wood with a painted edge. I believe the middle pole is real wood. It is in good used vintage condition. There is some scratching and scuffing to the top. There is a little chip out of the plastic edge on the one side and plastic shows some wear overall. A nice little table! This is a set of two solid wood step end tables. These are beautiful pieces considering they are 60 years or older. It is in original condition with a some scratches and scuffs. There is no structural damage. No cracks. Very beautiful, sturdy, heavy pieces. These are great examples of mid century furniture! All pieces have partial labels affixed to bottom. Vivid colors on the tiles in this old Spanish revival table. There are twenty four tiles on this table top. I don't know the manufacturer of the tiles. But could have been made by Monterey, Catalina, Taylor or any of the other great tile and pottery manufacturers. This table is in as found condition which includes three tile with cracks as shown in the images. The flaws are located on the top right, and bottom two right tiles in the last image(not noticeable because of the busy pattern) The tiles are tight and intact.
